It was actually a rip off/throw back from “What Sunny wants, Sunny gets.”
Desmond Wolfe was/is a big fan of Sunny. He said in an interview that he had a HUGE crush on her when he was a teenager. He said at one point she was the only reason he watched wrestling.
cant blame him there, Sunny was so hot in the 90′s!!

I get the feeling this is leading twords a match at Lockdown.
I got some face vibes from Lacey as well, but I think that was more to establish to the fans that Velvet Sky is the leader of TBP and is calling the shots.
I must also say that I’m loving Chelsea!

I sat down to watch TNA, dozed off, and woke up just as the Knockouts segment was going off. :(
the segment was okay, I fell asleep when impact started and woke up exactly when the knockout segment was starting(thursdays are my nap days)

RKOyou. I also read that, Roxxi was released from TNA., but then i read Awesome Kong is still under TNA contract
but i am so sad Traci was released, and it is easy to tell her wrestling career is pretty much over
people are saying roxxi has been released because her profile was removed from tna’s website. as far as i recall, she never had a profile put back on there. hell, she may not even have a fulltime contract anyway.
i really enjoyed the segments tonight. can’t help noticing tna in general has lost a lot of it’s charm since hogan “took over”, though. it’s good of them to establish velvet as more of the leader type, but i would’ve preferred a lengthier mic time for love. that’s one department where she definitely excels. i did lol at velvet (i think it was her) shoving the cameraman who sold it by flying halfway across the room, haha.
next week’s live show.. one week before destination x, right? i’m hoping for a daffney/tara match at the ppv, so we should hopefully get a return to that story next week. as somebody mentioned above, love vs sky at lockdown would be nice. it would also be a good ppv (perhaps title change, too) for daffney/tara.
inferno, traci’s wrestling career is FAR from over. she’s been near constantly wrestling on the indies scene for as long as i remember. which always pissed me off where tna was concerned as it’s not as if she wasn’t able to wrestle.

I’m 99% sure that her picture was never put back on the roster page in the first place after she returned to the company a few months ago. And there have NEVER been any pictures of her in the Knockouts section of the TNA website. If that’s what this rumor is based on, then it could be a false alarm.
It seems so idiotic that they would release her again after they just brought her back. Although, Roxxi getting screwed over by this company is nothing new…

I rather have them build up that story first. Right now it’s just 2 short DQ matches, that’s just not enough for a PPV match. They should probably first handle the Angelina-Velvet thing for ppv.

Scott d’Amore started Maxium Pro Wrestlig a while back, which is currently Canada’s biggest promotion (with high ambitions, including ppvs). Don’t be surprised if Traci ends up there.
I know people were praising bad promos the Divas on SD did a few months ago, but TBP had the best segment last night of the show.. And possibly the year for any women on TV.
It was simple. TBP wanted to get back at Angelina and jumped her backstage. They succeed and Love called them out on iMPACT!. Didn’t come across as “Oh well, they whopped my butt. Boo hoo.” She was all “YOU ***** GET OUT HERE NOW!!!” And she fought them off the best she could until the numbers and a couple of pink weapons got involved. Love went down and the bad girls stood over her. There was emotion outside of being stoic or crying about what happened.
I could complain about how Love can take out three people when the point of stables is to have strength in numbers, but that’s a moot point.
When they do have the match, I expect it to get trashed by the people who care about the women of either company. Mainly because they won’t be doing 1577 moves or set spots within each minute the match will go on, but they will go out there to FIGHT. Because, let’s face it.. Love and Sky are NOT good wrestlers in a traditional sense. lol
Did any anyone else let out a “Go Madison!” when she shoved that guy down?
The first segment was really well done. Great acting by all of them. Angelina sold it well (although it probably wasn’t hard because she was actually being whipped). Velvet was just so fierce, I’ve never seen that out of her. And Lacey’s and Madison’s reactions to Velvet were awesome, even they showed that they have their limits.
