A former Playboy model who was signed to a developmental contract last year is said to have already been dropped by the company.

LordsofPain.net reports there was talk at the FCW taping this past Thursday of Jillian Beyor, whose signing we reported last November, being released.

The 24 year old was crowned Playboy’s Model of the Year in 2008.

  1. If that is all she was, then good riddance. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE “eye candy”.

    In its proper place.

And that AINT inside the wrestling ring.

  2. No one will care. She should go back to Playboy and leave wrestling behind.

Even the non-wrestling women they’ve more recently signed have some sort of athletic background which could help them with general fitness in the ring. Naomi Knight (dancer), Aksana (fitness model) and Jemma Palmer (was on Gladiators and has some pre-WWE training under her belt).

Can’t wait for Sarona’s debut. With more training she could be WWE’s Awesome Kong as she has a bigger frame than most women.

  3. That sucks for her, being released before she even really started, but if this is a sign that the WWE is pulling away from the purely eye-candy girls a bit, then it’s good.

  4. i don’t think it’s fair you guys above calling her just eye candy when we never got to see what she was capable of. it’s a developmental territory for a reason, she was hardly on the main roster.

good luck to her whatever she does next.

  5. WWE probably just checked to see if she had potential to become a wrestler. Usually you can tell after a few weeks to see how they behave or how motivated to learn they are. So most likely she didn’t make a good impression.

  6. NT86, Sarona Snuka actually debuted at the same FCW show that they are talking about on March 4th, she debuted managing Donny Marlow, they appeared later in the show when Donny Marlow and THe Uso Brothers introduced the newest members to there Stable G-Rilla and Sarona, The are Samoan Islanders Stable

Also there is another FCW show today saturday 6th, so i hoping we will see more of sarona and plus Jemma Palmer landed in florida on tuesday so maybe she will finally make her debut

  7. I honestly don’t care about her release. If it were for me, WWE would pick girls from the indies, not the magazines.

  8. Is this a sign there moving away from ‘eye candy’? Maria then Beyor, and with TNA getting more ‘eye candy’ by the minute, could this be a change we’ve been waiting for for so long? It could be, but I highly doubt it.

  9. can’t miss something that never happend..

  10. LOL @ above.

  11. Never heard oh her…
