In a blog on her newly launched official website, now former Diva Maria Kanellis had some positive words about her former co-workers putting over several of the girls. She writes:
I will however miss the Divas. They will forever be a part of my story. Mickie giving wrestling her heart, soul and a real teacher in the ring. Michelle with her dedication to the divas division is making it grow. Nattie with all the history and excitement. Layla giving it fire, humor, and is a great friend. Kelly the girl that is the beauty that has that same desire as me to prove herself in the ring. Eve is a fighter and can choke you out! (Eve I can’t wait to come train with you now that I have some time on my hands.) Beth, the foundation, sweet, strong, and a great listener. These girls and all the Divas are my inspiration. I admire them. I will keep watching you succeed. Thank you Ladies.
Maria has every right to feel bitter about her release but I love how positive she has been and these words will, I’m sure, mean a lot to the girls in question. Maria has been very gracious and good-natured in bowing out of WWE and putting over her fellow Divas is a really nice thing to do.

IT WAS UNFORTUNATE THAT MARIE WAS LET GO, BUT I AM SUE THAT SHE WILL DUE VERY WELL. THIS PROVES THAT THERE IS NO LOYALTY TOWARDS THE DIVAS FROM THE WWE 0R TNA.

Maria has shown some class in bowing out of the WWE after her untimely release from the company. But Maria no longer needs the WWE, because she has created a name for herself. Appearing on Celebrity Apprentice and coming out with an album, she’s not slowing down one bit.
Maria has always been a personality, because either she couldn’t wrestle, or WWE would not allow her to. There is no reason for her to continue in the company.
Albeit if the Divas are wholesome girls trying to be the “best” in the wrestling biz, it does not occur in the WWE. The WWE uses, mostly models, Divas for filler matches. Because in a world where Gail Kim is defeated by Maryse in one wrestling maneuver, then there is something seriously wrong. Since the days of Trish and Lita, women’s wrestling in the WWE has become nonexistent.

xflygurlx16, Maria’s talking about Eve’s Jiu-Jitsu background she trains at Gracie Academy in Cail. Eve’s gotten a few of the divas involved in now.

Maria is good people, i really do hope she does awsome in the Movies, Music and fashion She has the looks for it, so lets hope she has the talents to back it up…
