We’re just two weeks away from WrestleMania and this week, it looks as though the final matches are being added to the card. Unfortunately though, still no Divas. We can probably expect an announcement to be made the week of the event as is always the case with the women but we want to know what you want to see.
Given the direction of Raw and SmackDown in recent weeks, it seems there are two clear cut title storylines developing: Eve vs Maryse for the Divas Title and Beth vs Michelle for the Women’s Title. Michelle vs. Beth would have a “bigger” feel to it than Maryse defending the newly won Divas title. Beth could have a huge career moment on the big stage and set up great feuds for the rest of 2010 (Beth vs. Natalya at SummerSlam, etc.) Vickie’s getting nailed with the Glam Slam in Arizona.
out of the two matches they seem to be setting up for, definitely beth/mccool. although i think it’s a bit too soon for either to be honest. especially if they’re title matches.
unfortunately, i think wwe will go the likes of “other” themselves. 8 vs 8 tag if not a battle royal or something.
Beth/Mccool/Mickie, so i voted in Others. There’s a high chance that this match becomes a lumberjill so all the girls get payed,
Wishful thinking Diva Dirt but I doubt we will have ether of these two title matches, but honestly I would really like to see McCool vs Phoenix I think that would be an epic match but like a few have stated before me it is really to soon in both of these title pictures to pit one vs one at WM. I will foresee the future and say that it will be an 5 on 5 divas battle royal including: BETH, EVE, GAIL KIM, KELLY KELLY and TIFFANY vs MICHELLE, LAYLA, ALICIA,JILLIAN and NATALYA with VICKIE playing special guest Referee! NO Mickie or Melina this year which is going to really suck maybe they will play bell ringers or something like Candice did last year who knows.
Either of these would be fab!
However, I fear that we will see another multi-diva tag match, using up most of the girls on the roster. Or failing that, maybe Beth, Mickie and Tiffany v Layla, Michelle and Vickie (assuming Mickie is healthy by then and that Beth and Mickie have resolved their differences)
I know WWE wants to get as many performers on the show, but since when does everybody DESERVE to just be at WrestleMania?!? IMO a 5-on-5 tag match accomplishes nothing, and we just had Bragging Rights and Survivor Series tag matches…that’s enough. They don’t do this for the guys…they don’t put Slam Master J, Jimmy Wang Yang, and Tyler Rex as lumberjacks in the Cena-Batista match just to have them on the show. (ugh!)
I Would Love to See; Gail Kim & Beth Phoenix vs. Michelle McCool & Maryse at Wrestlemania with The Womens and Divas Titles on the Line. A Winner Takes All Match, That Would be an Awesome sight, especially with Vickie Guerrero getting involved at Elimination Chamber PPV and Making it a Brand vs. Brand Match. So you could continue the Storyline with Vickie still unhappy with how the Raw Brand Divas have been talking about the Smackdown Divas and, maybe you could insert Vickie as Referee with a FACE Turn Mid Match, It Could spark a new era for the Womens Division post Wrestlemania.
But At The End of the Day with Beth Phoenix turning Face WWE Should go all out to aquire the services of Kia Stevens/Awesome Kong she would be Amazing in WWE and be their new Monster HEEL!! Glam Here up a bit or leave her as she is. It Truely would be Awesome!!!
I’m not sure if a Diva match is going to happen, at least on the actual PPV. If there is, WM is going to be a 10-match card once it and Randy Orton’s match are added. Last year, they had 8 matches on the main show and still just barely managed to not go over 4 hours.
With nothing being announced yet, I wouldn’t be surpised if they have a battle royal before the show that will be a extra on the show’s DVD like they did at SummerSlam.
Beth vs Mickie vs Michelle is the only acceptable answer.
Maybe they would bring back Golden Divas since it is Women’s History Month, how about a Golden Divas Battle Royal, winner gets a WWE contract? idk

@DivaMedia – I think that Eve will be a Slow Burner to build her up as WWE’s New FACE Diva to eventually overtake Melina. If you remember how quickly Katie Lea’s Push was over and done with when she was fueding with Mickie James over the Womens Title. If WWE go about it correctly and give Eve a decent Creative and a Low Push to a Big Pay Off Match within the Next few Pay-Per-Views, She would be cemented as a true Divas Champion rather than an after thought in a few months.

oh i thought i would also say i think WWE may try to get chyna to make some appearance, maybe Beth vs chyna, after all they did that odd thing with Beth talking smack about her, and then putting her in the top 3 of they’re most historically impaction Divas list says to me they are trying to get her attention
I have high vibes that the match will depend on the availability of mickie. looks like they would want to push through with a women’s championship match “sort of” with mickie beth and mccool included. glad that mickie is released from the hospital and is resting in home. officials would want to see mickie return in time for wrestlemania. :)

I really don’t want to see either match. I doubt that Eve vs Maryse will bet booked for the PPV as Eve gets no crowd reaction. We might see McCool vs Beth but I am tired of the SD divas getting all the PPV matches. The only divas match I want to see at Wrestlemania is one that features Gail Kim. Knowing the WWE they will do some match that will feature all the divas as they are all on hand for Mania weekend

Tthe teams entrace all the divas except Lay-Cool And Kelly,Gail & Eve entance by their own the match starts champion Vs champion (Maryse Vs Michelle), Maryse does some cheap shots and let the tag to gail kim, michelle gets the advantage on gail kim and tag with layla, layla thorw gail to corner and run to attack, layla miss and gail tag with kelly kelly , kelly get advantage over layla and kelly tag with eve, layla counters and tag with natalya the both divas fight and few moves after both of them run and hit a clothesline to each other, eve go to tag gail but maryse takes the take and beth do the same with natalya, beth fight maryse and get advantage against her them alicia came out but tiffany counters with a spear and get her out of the ring the other divas try to separate and beth steal the tag from beth and go for maryse but maryse counter her and strike the french kiss cover her and win for the raw divas them michelle try to attack maryse but beth come and strike the glam slam, maryse try to strike another french kiss but she miss and kelly wih eve strike a double clothesline against her and a double DDT them gail climb up the corner and cross-body natalya and tiffany spear alicia again and the winners become the B/Faces.

Neither are likely to happen but the Beth one is more possible. The only reason I could see hot shotting Eve with the Diva title is so they can move it to Smackdown along with her because they dont want to move one of the other divas. And then they move Michelle or Beth to Raw with the Womens belt.
The only thing its being ‘set up for’ is the usual two minute raw match. Eve has only had like two short singles matches in the last 5 months.
I think its a bit too early to have a Beth vs Michelle womens title match…i was gonna suggest a Mickie vs Michelle vs Beth triple threat match, but Mickies out with that infection so i think shes missing wrestlmania…I’d like to see the smackdown divas compete, yet i wanna see some raw divas involved too, like Jillian, Gail, Maryse, Alicia….do i’m really confused on what I want lol but im excited to find out the matche(s) for the Divas
For SmackDown, WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP Beth VS Michelle McCool with Mickie James as the special referee, and for RAW, Maryse VS Gail Kim Vs Eve Torres Vs Jillian Fatal Four Way for the Divas Title. Or Maybe have Maryse and Michelle take on Mickie James and Melina!
