Former WWE Diva, Maria Kanellis is moving into MMA. HDNet’s Inside MMA show announced earlier tonight that Kanellis will join the broadcast team for promotion, King of the Cage.
Kanellis will make her debut on April 17th’s Underground 54 event which will air live on HDNet. A press release on Maria’s appointment is due Monday.
Is WWE’s loss MMA’s gain?

H0D01986, i’ve googled and googled, but it appears it isn’t be on over here. your best be would be looking for a live stream whenever it is on. although, with her many fans, at least one of them should youtube it.
it’s weird, but i take it she didn’t have a 90 day no compete clause? i guess that shows how not “high” the wwe were on her?

There is a channel that shows King of The Cage called Extreme Sports on Sky channel 419 the same channel that PPv from TNA will appear on. The only thing i now don’t know is whether this channel will show it live or a few weeks later. I dont think her 90 non compete clause comes into play here since its a broadcasting role not a competition role.
Very Good for her. Its a role that suits her talents and maybe while hosting she can train a little bit more.
I wouldn’t say its WWE’s loss at all, WWE make and break stars every day of every week, there was a time when people thought the world would end should Steve Austin or The Rock ever leave, yet we’ve discovered John Cena and CM Punk etc. Maria was never massive in the first place, sure she won Diva of the Year and was popular, but she’s like Stacy or Torrie in the fact that you’d remember her from WWE for doing segments or being the valet rather than any particular match, her space has already been filled in, showing how fast WWE has recovered from it.
Good for her though all the same.
I’d rather see her in TNA/Wrestlicious but oh well..
maybe she could do this and be in tna @ same time
