It’s weird how everything is so perfect about Alicia, yet, the live crowds seem to not know her at all. Unlike Gail Kim, I think the WWE has build Alicias character well, I honestly can’t see why little kids wouldn’t boo her…
Amateur promo? I don’t know why you say that. It’s a good promo. I would be more interested with her character if I didn’t know her work already. It surely transmits a good message about her character.

People don’t care about her because there’s nothing to care about. Everything about her is generic. Granted, she was quite likable as a face, but nowadays it’s really just a case of ‘What’s your point???’. She’s not much of a wrestler, and she’s not much of a character either. She’s just…there.

LOL who are all these new kids trying to come for Alicia Fox? Clearly were not watching the same promo because the girl can work. She may be young and new but she is all around the full package. Next to Beth, Gail and Michelle she sells like no other making a lot of her opponents look good in the ring. I’ll agree in that the video could of been better in that it didn’t show the full extent of the grand potential she has. But its clear that those that do take notice of her talents show why she is so loved on this site.
I don’t think she’s the total package at all. She can’t connect with the audience in any way, shape or form, she’s clumsy in the ring and yeah, she sells, but that’s not a good thing in her case. She overdoes it. I just don’t think she’s that good at all. Granted, she’s no Eve, but still…

I blame the audience. They just cheer Kelly Kelly and Mickie James, Maryse gets some “sexy” chants and Jillian gets booed. The others just get the “silence” treatment.
I get why someone would be quiet when Rosa Mendes, Eve or the Bellas are making their way to the ring but making absolutely no noise at all when Alicia jumps off that curtain (there’s no curtain?? whatever, you get the point) all full of energy and attitude, full of fierceness, well, that’s beyond me.
Sometimes it’s WWEs fault (GAIL, GAIL, GAIL) for not building up the character well, but in Alicias case, and to some extent Beths case, it’s not their fault. Yet, Maryse, Kelly and (when she was still with WWE) Maria get this crazy reaction from out of nowhere, how did Kelly “connect” with the audience, that’s right, she took her clothes off down at the land of the dead. Maria did her stupid-as-fuck-interviewer thing (and she hooked up with John Cena) and Maryse acts like a gay man on a Gaga concert.
Well, I love Alicia and one day, I will be the one booing her.
The music with it just kind of made me lol. Alicia isn’t some dangerous Diva to have that Jaws-esque music. They should have made her video a little more light hearted.
I’m not a fan of Alicia but she is decent for a newcomer, I’ve seen worse. I don’t really care about her because theirs nothing unique about her besides the fact thats she’s black, i mean theirs 30 girls in my school who look and act just like Alicia so yeah. but i don’t have a problem with her

are you kidding me “not much of a wrestler” she has improved so much she debuted in november 2008 but her wrestling debut was in jan 2009 and already had 2 shots at the title and it took kellykelly a few years to improve but alicia improved in each match , alicia is by far future dominant heel diva and future champion she is 2nd top heel right behind maryse on raw by far alicia is in the top 10 best current WWE Divas. she is better than half of the diva roster she beat kelly 3 times, she has had great matches with melina,gail,natalya and katie lea and for sure i believe she can beat eve, eve maybe reallly good but alicia fox can defeat her anytime and anywhere! i explained my point tht alicia fox isnt just “not much of a wrestler” but a great one and plus she isnt one of those divas who do diva searches and dont even bother to train alicia went to OVW and FCW to actually train not like kellykelly who didnt bother training at all true diivas are AJ Lee and Sereena Mancini who bother trying there best in the ring!

She Has A Personality Its being a fierce diva with an attitude thts how they make layla act too and she gets a few crowd reactions but not so much but who cares at least she gets more crowd reactions then gail. when gail comes out its like hearing crickets singing its quite she does get a few reactions when she does really awesome moves or when she wins! mainly the big reason she is hated is because of her PUFFY hair when was the last time she had a mess of a hair its been like 5 weeks now she has the short and curly look :D i agree with Alana G. she sells her moves great she has only jobbed once in her WWE career which was Alicia vs Gail – Divas Tournament but people are saying eve is better then alicia heck no Eve To Me Is Crowned/Nicknamed Queen Of Botches or Diva Of Botches!
Alicia’s been wrestling for just as long as Kelly, and I don’t think she’s as confident or as able as Kelly is.
Great matches? Eh? She’s had one or two decent ones with Gail, and a few alright ones with Melina, but Melina can get a good match out of anyone, and truth be told, the Melina/Alicia matches weren’t nearly as good as Melina’s matches with the other less experienced divas.
Hey, it’s cool if you like her…I just think she’s boring. It’s true that not much women get a reaction nowadays, but that’s because they’re all interchangable. It’s management’s fault, yeah, but the divas have to do something to stand out. Aside from standard mean face numbers 1 and 2, I mean. And I’ve yet to hear any of these huge Maryse reactions. :S As far as I can tell, the women who get reactions are Mickie, Kelly and Melina. Oh, and Jillian. And that makes perfect sense, because they actually try to connect with the audience.
alicia fox axe kick is so fierce!! she jumps so high and axe her opponent from the back their neck or spine. alicia fox is wwe homegrown so somewhere in the line shes gonna get her huge push in the future. like it or not.
Haha, just re-watched the video. People are right, the upload was bad. I meant the video was amateurish, because of the syncing really. Bad syncing/synchronization just annoys the hell out of me for some reason :O
On Alicia’s wrestling acumen:
Tha gurl can WRESTLE. I mean, for real. I would love to see the full extent of her abilities, but it won’t happen while she’s bound by WWE’s rules.
Alicia Fox has plenty of personality, but personality only goes so far. WWE has to come up with a STORYLINE that will get the fans attention while putting Alicia’s abilities on display. What, you people thought Mickie, Melina, Beth, and Kelly got to where they were by just…..being? No.
For Mickie, it was her ever-infamous Trish feud.
For Melina, it was multiple things, but mainly her run with MNM where she was the catalyst in all if not most of there matches, and that one ange where she was “sexually harrassed” by Batista.
For Beth, it was her feud with Candice Michelle where she was the uber-Dive, and the ‘undefeatable one’, even though her reactions have been dying down for recent years.
This is now what not only Alicia needs, but what every current WWE Diva needs.
All Alicia’s abilities know are “WWE’s rules.” Her training doesn’t extent beyond them.
Uhmm, Michelle doesn’t sell.
And the girl’s a heel yet she does like MAYBE 3 moves a match, which shows no dominance or reason to give the faces any face sympathy. She botches movement itself. She’s seriously one of the worst wrestlers in the WWE.
ALICIA DOES HAVE PERSONALITY, BUT THE WWE IS NOT LETTING HER COME OUT INTO HER OWN. THE GIRL CAN WORK AND SELL MOVES, BUT THEY’RE NOT FOCUSING ON HER THEY’RE FOCUSING ON MARYSE AND EVE. I BET IF FOXY WAS ON SMACKDOWN, THAT PERSONALITY WILL COME INTO AFFECT. GIVE IT SOME TIME, AND FOXY WILL COME OUT TO HER OWN.

I love A. Fox. I think she is a good wrestlers that can get in the ring with anyone. I haven’t really seen a botchful Alicia match and if there was one i’m sure someone will bring it up. She sells very well(sometimes she over sells) and seems to be able to work with the more experienced women unlike some of the newbies. If they actually put effort into Alicia like they do Maryse and Michelle they could have someone specail on their hands. Look at what a storyline did for Layla.
Please don’t try to come for Alica Fox. She puts on amazing matches (Fox vs Melina), (Fox vs Gail), (Fox vs Mickie). Her moveset is awesome and her in ring abilities are impressive enough for her to earn a PPV slot that time against Mickie James. Alicia has talent she just needs to find a way to be massively put over as a heel like they did for McCool. Alica Fox has personality it’s just that nobody is looking at her. Just like Katie Lea. Their characters are being buried thanks to this whole RAW guest host crap. There hasnt really been any serious RAW fueds since I’d say Melina and Beth last year during Melina’s face turn. Don’t come for Alica because her matches are 10 times better then that of the Diva’s Champion Maryse, and there 1 Million times better then ALL of the Bella twins matches. Please… Next time think before you write…
None of those matches were excellent. The Alicia matches were actually some of Melina’s least impressive ones while on SmackDown, IMO. The Gail ones were alright, and the Mickie one kinda sucked, finish aside.
McCool has never been an over heel. If that’s the kind of response people want for Alicia then we’re not exactly setting the bar too high, are we?
Katie is at least useful for carrying the less experienced girls to decent little matches. Alicia just isn’t.
So wait, if you’re better than Maryse and the Bella Twins then you’re good to go? Lol, what high standards. Why not throw in Eve while you’re at it?

Oh, and re: Mickie/Melina. They got decent little storylines, yeah, but the point is that they rose to the occasion, caught the attention of the crowd and proved themselves. Do you really think they would have been pushed nearly as hard early on had they not done well to begin with? They were excellent, both in segments and matches, and got pushed accordingly. Alicia hasn’t managed to do that.
