Dixie Carter Comments on Kong Release
On her Twitter page, TNA President Dixie Carter wrote:
Due to personal reasons, Kong asked for/was granted an early release from contract. We support her during this time & hope she is back soon.
As mentioned yesterday, Kong and Dixie are still on good terms and a return shouldn’t be ruled out in future. It’s even possible this could end up an Angelina-like ‘hiatus’.
Kong knows we have her back here at Diva Dirt and respect her decision. Thank you Kong, for your hard work in the Knockouts division and bringing women’s wrestling to a new level on American television. Kong vs Kim put that division on the map in a big way and I certainly have fond memories of those matches.

Is it me or does Dixie Carter’s comments make it seem like Awesome Kong is taking a break from wrestling, and is expected back sooner rather then later?

I don’t know… I just get the feeling that this isn’t the end for Kong + TNA.
