Fans have been questioning ODB‘s whereabouts ever since the Knockout disappeared from television over a month ago. Her absence, according to WrestlingNewsWorld.com, is due to a ruptured breast implant suffered earlier in the year.
Apparently, she put off surgery until after the Genesis PPV, where she dropped the Knockouts Championship to Tara. A date for her return is not yet known, but she did work a show over the weekend, so that could indicate that she may be ready to grace the Impact Zone again. I would say get well soon, but it seems as though she already has!
Breast implant ruptures seem to be a work-related hazard, as far as Mickie James, Gail Kim, and even Chyna are concerned. It seems like those things need to be reinforced with titanium, lest we have an epidemic on our hands.

Sable and Major Gunns also ruptured implants.. It’s just dangerous for women with implants to be taking hard bumps to the chest as your not supposed to put to much force or pressure on the implants.. I can understand the asthetic reasons for getting them but it’s pretty dangerous for female wrestlers.

and i was like, “where the hell is ODB?” i thought that she got
released or something and i missed the update, but im glad to

They had something real interesting going when they tried ODB vs. Tara, face vs. face. They’re so determined to make Tara their centerpiece face — The Hulkster would say “She’s my John Cena, brother” — that it almost seemed inevitable that ODB would be heel there. Which is almost unthinkable given her gimmick of playing up the fans, overselling and using the hell out of every fun babyface spot possible. It’s good to see that she wasn’t being held off for her look, she’s awesome and the rare kind of face that helps get both heels and faces over.

With ODB’s huge boobs, I’m not really surprised that they’d rupture. Surely the bigger they are, the more of a risk they are in the ring? She does take a lot of bumps on her front, I think.

my cuz has implants and she says it takes a hell of a lot of force to rupture them so they must be taken really bad bump they need to watch them selfs

Yeah after my second daughter I had breast-augmentation surgery, cause lawd knows they ain’t never the same after birth lol for all the mommas out there y’all know! But yeah it takes a lot for one to rupture, I’m gonna assume that she has silicone implants because with saline they would have deflated and been really noticeable. On top of the fact that there’s a span of within the first 6 to 10 years of having silicone implants that one likely to rupture. So she must have been taking some really nasty bumps, but I’m glad to see she’s back working. Lol its unintentionally funny but, its a cautionary tale to girls who work the ring take care of your tah tah’s because getting them redone is pain in the butt.

Not to be a hater or a prude, but maybe they could avoid this (and set an example that the body you’re born with is good enough) by not having the surgery given the strenuous nature of their work. Just a serious thought. Stacy Keibler was super popular without the big breasts. It’s not a “look” that’s necessary IMO. But the biz says otherwise so oh well. : /

And NO I don’t mean that as a negative judgment against those who would choose it. Although in some cases it’s so obviously fake that to me it negates the point (or rather, it doesn’t make sense to ME). Maybe I’d have to be a man to appreciate it (?) and maybe not. Hmm…
