I’ve always liked Brooke for some reason. She was my favorite in Extreme Expose (before Layla got the chance to shine) and I think she’ll be alright in TNA. I doubt she’ll do anything noteworthy but I hope she does.
She’s just a bit of a random choice. Of all the ex-Divas to hire, Brooke Adams? Really? It just seems like they might would have reached out to someone a bit more memorable, like Joy Giovanni or Amy Weber for this kind of role.
Same she was always my favourite of Extreme Expose.
I even created her as a CAW on SvR..

I won’t judge too much untill I see what her role in TNA will be, and what she brings to the table, but at this point I don’t really like her being in TNA.
It’s not like TNA is hurting for beautiful women, so unless she is very talented in whatever her role is going to be, I don’t see the point.

I do, however, recall reading of her interests to improve her in-ring work duringher time w/ WWE… but I doubt there’s much hope for an in-ring TNA career.
I feel like almost any former diva from the diva search would be better suited, if what they want is just a pretty face… If not, why wouldn’t they have just hired an indy talent w/ looks? They have good relations with plenty of girls.

I’m not a huge Brooke fan but I say give her a shot. I think it’s nice that she has a 2nd chance to “shine” and not be labeled has that other girl from Extreme Expose lol. I think TNA went after her because she is a pretty-young-girl with some knowledge of wrestling and if needed can probably take a bump.
i never saw her in wwe, so i don’t have any thoughts on how she may be in tna, really. but as it stands right now, i think it’s far too early to begin judging her performance or what her role might be.
i’m just a bit disappointed that at this stage it seems like she’s doing nothing socal val couldn’t do herself. or even traci brooks – it makes me disbelieve the “we had nothing for her creatively” excuse.
As to “why Brooke”, some people have brought the fact that Brooke is from St Louis, MO, where Lockdown will take place. This sounds rather unlikely, but who knows…
Kaledrina, that’s a good point. A gimmick as a personal assistant would have been right up Traci’s alley with that whole business woman thing she had going on a few years back. That’s why this whole thing is just a bit off putting. They obviously just wanted to add some more T&A to the roster, and if that’s the cause, no offense, but couldn’t they have gotten someone better than Brooke Adams?

She was my fav member of Extreme Expose’, and I always thought she was competent in the ring, so, I’ll give her a shot.

I always liked Brooke. when I heard she was released I was alittle upset by that. I think she is very pretty and I thought the WWE could’ve used her some other way. B Fizzle I would love to see Amy Weber back in wrestling. I thought she was one of the best women to come out of the DS and I felt her time in the WWE was cut way too short.

Ms Tessmacher? Isn’t that the name of Lex Luthors girlfriend/assistant in the first Superman movie? Is Bishoff comparing himself to the Greatest Evil Genius Of Our Time now? So who is Superman? Vince Mcmahon? Riiiiiiiight. Anyway, I barely remember Brooke. Extreme Expose was on at a time when I was taking a much needed break from wrestling. Hopefully her role will be more important than office bimbo. Not getting my hopes up, though.
I do think it’s entirely about getting another pretty face on TV but I seem to recall her work ethic being complimented by a few ladies who were in developmental with her. Can’t say if it’s true that she’s decent or not because WWE never gave her the chance on their programming but it’s possible. If not, she’ll probably be best suited to a Chelsea-like role unless they send her to their new developmental territory.

Exactly, the “of all the divas?” sentiment comes pouring out of this one. Like I said in the other thread, I feel it’s a particularly troublesome sign of what Bischoff’s thinking here is. At least Chelsea has more a look that fits the snobby Brit’s valet. This is basically the stripper from Extreme Expose shoe-horned into a consultant gimmick for her eye-candy and awesome audition skills. And what a dated reference, too, wow.

I ONLY remember Joy Giovanni because she was in Smackdown! vs RAW 2006 or something, she made me LOL especially in fulfill your fantasy matches.
Considering her run literally consisted of shaking her booty, running from Mike Knox and a couple of bad battle royals, I am shocked people are making such a big deal out of this. Then again, these are the same people complaining about the lack of time the Knockouts get every week without looking at the big picture. So, if they would’ve went out and go an indy worker “with looks”, would you guys be content with the bazillion “SHE IS SO MISUSED IT HURTS ME!” comments like every Jillian, Gail, Katie, Beth, and/or Natayla story?
Good for Brooke. She’s one of the few chicks who didn’t make the DS but still wanted to learn how to wrestle. The Bellas are the other chicks to do that.
The way I see it, Kristin herself said Brooke showed a lot of potential down in DSW and Brooke seemed to have the drive to want to do well when she had the opportunity, that automatically puts Brooke above the likes of Chelsea who essentially is a model and will only ever be a model. Shame Brooke’s stuck in such a stagment character with a horrible name to shake off and transfer into wrestling – should it ever happen.
Yes, TNA are being hypocrites and hiring beauty over skill, but its a step up from LVE who was there as some lame TNA hitback to hiring second generation stars.

She was my favorite back when she was part of Extreme Expose and I was upset when WWE let her go instead of Kelly Kelly lol. She’s incredibly attractive and I think we should all give her a chance. All we’ve seen of her is in a short backstage segment. Now I don’t know if she can wrestle or not, I know she used to wrestle for a short while back before going to ECW. They’ll probably just keep her as Bischoff’s assistant. But yeah I’ll give her a chance.
