Former Knockouts Tag Team Champion, Hamada will make her return to Impact after several weeks of absence this coming Monday in yet another 8-Knockout tag team match.

  1. Bleh, we just saw an eight woman match with 6 of the same people, not to mention, I’d rather watch Saritaylor over Hamada and ODB anyday. Not really bothered with watching this, not to mention it makes no sense for Tara and ODB to randomly team after a like 4 month feud where they changed the title around 4-5 times. Can’t wait for the inevitable finisher fest!

  2. Nice to see Hamada back an all that, but when are they going to change the format of the Knockouts booking??!! Hogan and Bischoff have worringly de-emphasized on the Knockouts so that all their old cripple pals can make it onto Impact. They’re deliberately trying to rot out the division with such predictable booking. These multi Knockout tag matches have become the ONLY thing (apart from a single’s match) to come on TV these days.

Dixie Carter is sitting around playing on Twitter doing nothing, while she WORSHIPS the ground these two walk on while they flood TNA with more rejects from the past. TNA’s roster is too big for a product with one show. I’n starting the believe reports about Bischoff being completely apathetic to women’s wrestling and how he was upset with how Lita and Trish got a lot of time in WWE.

The second show for the Knockouts, X-division and other lower card aspects of the show needs to introduced. This new Hogan era has just hurt TNA, isn’t any ratings and is hurting one of the VERY FEW strong aspects of the product – the Knockouts.

  3. Great to see Hamada back, but too bad it’s once again a random matchup.

  4. Nice to see Hamada back. But it looks like Saritaylor will be pushed off tv YET again for awhile. They’ll probably have Hamada & ODB team up to take on The Beautiful People for the Tag Titles in the future, which imo should be Saritaylor instead. Hopefully TNA won’t keep giving us random 8 Knockout Tag Matchs every other week.

  5. NT86- STOP COMPLAINING! In case you haven’t noticed, some of those rejects are already gone from TNA, Val Venis and the Nasty boys have already gotten their pink slips and in a few months, all of Hogans buddies will also be gone. They’re not long-term stays

i think it’s also time for TNA to get a second show, they can transform X-plosion into a WWE superstars type show and have an all 1-hour of wrestling show and then later on, change it into a smackdown type show

I hope this 8-KO tag is good, they’re last one was very good, it got almost 10 minutes

  6. so, i know we had tara/daffney last week, but another 8person tag so close to the last one is annoying.

i’m actually disappointed hamada and odb are making their comeback of sorts in this match. they’ll likely be shoved to the back of the spotlight by tara, angelina and tbp.

as much as i’m loving it, i sort of can’t wait until this daffney/tara feud is over. maybe then we’ll get the time for the other talent?

  7. RKOyou-Ooo, I like that idea. A second show would be awesome, and then WWE and TNA would really be competing with each other. As you said it could start out with one hour like TNA originally used to be, and then later it could progress into something bigger and better.

Hamada returning? Well fina-frikkin-ly! I can’t wait to see this woman return, but I think she really should be feuding with someone full-force right now. I think a Hamada-Daffney-Tara feud could be epic, but I’d want that to progressively happen.

  8. She’s easily the most skilled in TNA.
I’d like to see her win the TNA Knockouts title.

  9. So the random Japanese chick makes her iMPACT! return.. Can’t say she was missed. Hamada is as charcterless as they come. Sure, you are gonna get those peop–idiots in the iMPACT! Zone chanting for her, but I think the Beautiful People will be the stars of the match again. I mean the last match, more people were talking about how good Lacey did than how Sarita and Taylor Wilde did.

But cares, it’s a live iMPACT! I love not knowing what is going to happen! haha

And Kaledrina, I don’t care much for the Tara/Daff fued. I think they are clearly using Tara just because she has ‘name value’. She’s been pretty bland, sloppy and/or bad in her TNA run so far. They have much more interesting or better workers than her.

  10. My chick is back Hamada. I love her some much I think she’s the female wrestler in TNA.

  11. WOW, love all the bitching and false accusations against Dixie Carter and TNA Wrestling. Sarita and Taylor Wilde weren’t “pushed off television” again. Sarita is currently on tour in Japan, so how can she be pushed off television if she is not even in Florida to be used?!

TNA Wrestling may be using multi-knockout matches, however these matches have been used to further storylines and angles in the Knockout’s division and also get more then the usual minute matches in WWE. Like the continuing Tara/Daffney and Angelina Love/Beautiful People storylines, how do we not know that Hamada or ODB will be the next to partner with Angelina Love to challenge for the Knockout’s Tag Team Championship?

  12. people bitch that Hamada is off TV, and the when she is scheduled, people bitch HOW she is returning.

can never make some people happy…..

not everything is going to be perfectly to your liking, get over it.

  13. Sarita and Taylor Wilde weren’t “pushed off television” again. Sarita is currently on tour in Japan, so how can she be pushed off television if she is not even in Florida to be used?!”

very true. and according to her twitter, taylor wilde is currently in the uk (unless she meant london, canada).

  14. I believe Taylor Wilde is on another press tour in the United Kingdon for TNA Wrestling. Before the TNA Wrestling UK tour in January, Sarita and Taylor Wilde went on a two week press tour promoting the event.

  15. you guys complain about everything seriously.

  16. Nice to see her back, I hope she takes off Lacey’s head with those fierce kicks she has. >=)

  17. From Tokyo, Japan, Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamadaaaaaaaaa!

    Main thing is SHE’S BACK.

I agree, like Gail Kim in WWE, Hamada is uncharacterised in TNA.

I think Hamada and Gail should both be Champions in their respective companies..

Hamada is IN MY OPINION the best Knockout so far since Gail Kim, technically she could be better than Gail, but Gail in TNA was just AMAZING.

Gail IN MY OPINION is the best RAW Diva and so she should be Divas Champ, and LOL at how she’s had 3 title shots and LOST them all, WWE = Sad.

So FINALLY TNA bring Hamada back, I have more excitement in my week other than Gail Kim getting her Faith Broken.

  18. I read an interesting statistic. The women that’s gonna be in that ring with Tara–OBD, Angelina, Hamada, Madison, Velvet, Lacey and Daffney–have all been Widow’s Peaked for a total of 13 times.

    Watch yourself Dixie, your next..

  19. Nevermind the fact that Hamada and ODB were heels when we last saw them…… and The Beautiful People were the cause of Daffney’s initial psychosis….. Multi-woman tag matches with all of these woman who are supposed to hate each other could be interesting, but with such shallow ‘heel vs. face’ booking they aren’t any better than WWE.

It’d be pretty simple, have Daffney attack Velvet Sky, have ODB get in Tara’s face, have Hamada destroy Tara post match, but I doubt any of that will happen. Madison Rayne will do all of the wrestling for her team, Lacey Von Erich will hit Angelina with the ugly stick for the win, and Daffney and Tara will brawl and fight over a spider.
I hope the ratings continue to plummet and they realize that they have destroyed a once profitable division.

  20. @ James 1987 You are nit picking to the extreme and being negative for no reason…forget the first blood match last week, and the good match Tara and Daffney had at the last PPV….yup you’re right they have 8 women tag matches where they have the heels vs the faces so the division is dead. I guess they should have intergraded the heels and the faces, yeah that makes alot of sense. You are just another negative “fan”.

Randy Orton and HHH just were tag team partners about 3 weeks and were perfectly fine, when last year Randy Orton was beating up HHH’s wife and her family, and HHH was breaking into Randy Orton’s house with a sledge hammer trying to kill randy orton.

Point is, storylines don’t last forever.

  21. These 8 knockouts and sarita&taylor are the only current wrestlinq knockouts at the moment exept for christy and socalval. TNA is desperate for atleast 3 more knockouts and at the moment WWE isnt. WWE divas are gettinq crowded with ECW gone.

  22. FINALLY!

  23. embich, you almost always have something negative to say. And Hamada is NOT the “random Japanese chick”. You say that as though her race is supposed to matter in the first place. Wth does it matter if she is the only Japanese female – its not random in that we shouldn’t even be THINKING about the fact that she is Japanese. She is a wrestler at the same time. That’s what some of us are looking at.

And what’s with the constant Dixie Carter hate (from some particular people). You’d think it was something personal…

  24. Embich

No Not Really…Hamada May Have No Personality Because TNA isnt using her right not like The Beautiful People and Tara/Daffney right now there the ones with the spotlight may be if hamada had a real feud then she would have a personality and your wrong she was missed by alot because she is what people call a true “Knockout” who cares what race she comes from tht is a racial comment you said about her and Tara belongs in TNA she is being used much better than when she was in WWE you just dont know what womens wrestling is. Tara was jobbed in WWE and she knows how to wrestle and bring entertainment to IMPACT!

  25. “And Hamada is NOT the “random Japanese chick”. ”

We get who Daffney TBP are. Daff is the weird goth girl who likes to bleed and torture other people/herself. Lacey, Velvet and Madison are the dumb/stuck up blondes who use strength in numbers and cattiness instead of “technical” skill.

But what is Hamada if she isn’t the random Japanese chick.. What is her gimmick? The random wrestler who can’t work light? The chick who likes to moonsault through tables?

That kind of “blah” and “generic-ness” is what Hogan and Eric are trying to change. It’s hard to gain interest in people who don’t give you any reason to care. It’s no accident that TBP and Daff are the ratings juggernauts for that company.

  26. Yay Lacey’s gonna wrestle :D can’t wait.

  27. What I would like top see happen with Hamada is her turning heel. She wasn’t heel with Kong. They were neutral. Anyways what I would like to see happen is Hamada cut a promo (she can speak english, but I would love to see it happen WCW La Parka-style with her voice being dubbed by a person from the streets) where she trashes Kong about losing tag titles (won’t be the Kong/Bubba situation. Something else.), state she’s tired or relying on KOs that always let her down, she out for herself and going for the KO title.

I also wouldn’t mind seeing Hamada and ODB as a tag team.

  28. Isnt ODB neutral?

  29. Am I the only one not bothered about Hamada returning? I think she is very boring. Even though she hasn’t been given anything to say, she exudes no personality whatsoever in her entrance or in the ring. That could be down to management, yet even when she was given stuff to do, like in her mini-fued with Alissa Flash, she was still completely bland. And they don’t know what side of the fence she is on either. Is she Face or Heel?

Same for ODB, she has a gimmick yet to me, it really only works as a Face, so now she is assumingly a Face again, I might warm to her again. I can say I’m more excited to see her than Hamada.

  30. ^I agree Hamada is very boring and I think the only way to get her “over” is for her to join the X-Division, but that won’t happen because of Spike TVs rules. As for ODB, I don’t think shes KO champ material she only became champ because she threatened to leave. I wouldn’t mind seeing her as a Tag champion though, maybe team her up with Roxxi since they have that vintage Knockout bond.

  31. EBMICH: Seriously?

“I mean the last match, more people were talking about how good Lacey did than how Sarita and Taylor Wilde did.”

Yeah… and if you would review those comments, it was like acknowledging how great it is that nobody got hurt in a burning building. ;) As for Sarita and Taylor–they’re good, and there’s no point in discussing that since it was already apparent.

“But what is Hamada if she isn’t the random Japanese chick.. What is her gimmick? The random wrestler who can’t work light? The chick who likes to moonsault through tables? That kind of “blah” and “generic-ness” is what Hogan and Eric are trying to change.”

Generic-ness? :) Funny you wrote that after saying things like… “We get who Daffney TBP are. Daff is the weird goth girl who likes to bleed and torture other people/herself. Lacey, Velvet and Madison are the dumb/stuck up blondes who use strength in numbers and cattiness instead of “technical” skill.” ;)

Must we really stick to the blatant formulaic and mindlessly stereotypical characters that have been done oh-so-many times? Is the pro-wrestling fan-base really that dumb that we have to be so clean-cut about everything? You know… like they used to be during Hogan’s time.

Well then, by all means… let me be blatant and say that those questions were completely rhetorical. :)

  32. YAY!!! ODB is back, I am very happy!!!!

  33. Evan wrote: “^I agree Hamada is very boring and I think the only way to get her “over” is for her to join the X-Division”

She was over, and i’m not talking about the impact zone “fans”, but crowd reaction during houseshows. Or just look at the response on the dirtsheets after her matches against Daffney and Melissa, even the dirtsheet writers who usually hate womens wrestling talked a lot about her. How much more “over” does she has to be? The only problem is that after her matches against Daffney/Melissa TNA didnt followup with anything and just placed her in a tagteam, so now she definately is “generic”, but mostly due to TNA’s fault for not knowing what to do with her. They had a great opportunity to make her one the top knockouts, but like so many times TNA screwed up again (1 step forward, 2 steps back…TNA’s tagline since 2007).

  34. I love Hamada and am glad she’s back! As for her being face or heel I don’t care and as for the lack of personality, who cares when you’re that damn good… Let the talent speak for itself

  35. So lets see….chances are that Hamada and ODB will form a tag team and go against TBP at Lockdown for the title, as Hamada never lost the titles herself blah blah blah.
In my mind, this match is just being done to throw all the knockouts together and give the women 10 minutes to make a storyline and fight a match.
I think they should give Tara and Daffney their own time and if they really want then to bring ODB and Hamada back then to do accordingly at another time during the show.
God for bid there are two knockout matches in one night.

  36. I just read that TNA released Christopher Daniels. He was not only one of the best workers in TNA, but also very populair with the fans. So it’s completely irrelevant if you are over with the fans or not. Bischoff and Hogan have their own “vision” on how wrestling should be, and if you dont fit in with that vision, you will get the shaft sooner or later. I’m afraid that Hamada, Sarita and Taylor wont survive this “new” TNA very long either.

  37. So apparently for some wrestling “fans” it’s a prerequisite for a wrestler to have a gimmick – let alone their talent. I suppose that’s why someone like Maryse is “popular” here and Hamada is apparently not. Farbeit for any wrestler to just come to work and, you know, wrestle. Hamada has fans all over the world who appreciate her for her wrestling regardless if she’s gimmick-less. She stands out to us BECAUSE of her talent, not some gimmick.

They said that Christopher Daniels is not released; he is working for ROH and TNA, still, but who knows. That was a shock to me.

  38. Forgot all about her to be honest.

  39. “So apparently for some wrestling “fans” it’s a prerequisite for a wrestler to have a gimmick – let alone their talent. I could not agree more. I’ld rather have a girl who can work in the ring who has very little personality then someone who cannot wrestle out of a paperbag…
