In a small update on a Knockout that sort of disappeared from our screens to little fanfare, Kristal Lashley is now referring to herself on Twitter as a ‘former TNA Knockout’.
Kristal and husband Bobby were last seen on TNA Impact in January. At the time, in storyline, the couple requested their immediate release from the company so Bobby could concentrate on his MMA career. It seemed this was going to be the start of a new storyline with Kristal cutting a fantastic promo on the January 4th live edition of Impact, but the two were eventually dropped as characters when Bobby was ‘fired’ by Eric Bischoff on a later episode of Impact.
It looks as though Bobby is indeed concentrating on his MMA career right now as he was quietly taken off the roster in February. There was no official word that he or Kristal had parted ways with TNA, but I guess her Twitter bio provides some closure on her status.
For what it’s worth, I thought Kristal was really blossoming into a great talker and it would have been nice to see her continue on in TNA without Bobby, perhaps as a manager for another Knockout.

I don’t know I mean, I really like Kristal but the only thing that got her the job in the first place in TNA was the surname- Lashley. She was great whilst she was there, especially as a manager and her stint in WWE proved she was much more than a Diva Search runner up, but the way things are now in TNA, with them barely focusing on their active Knockouts, I just don’t see a niche for Kristal to fit into.
It’s a shame she had such a low key exit, it would’ve been good to see her have a longer stint around there. I wouldn’t have minded them seeing fire BTLS backside and replacing her, we know she can hold a microphone and TNA interviewers get to show more character than WWE, she would’ve excelled in her ‘snob’ gimmick in that department.
So now its official that the lashleys have left TNA.
i wished Kristal would of stayed abit longer & she could of been a mouthpiece for someone as she was perfection on the mic.
it’s a shame she has to play the dutiful wife and follow bobby wherever he goes. i wouldn’t have minded seeing her as a valet for somebdoy else, or even a backstage interviewer. hell, she could’ve been in the role brooke adams is in right now.
Would have preferred her to stay on in TNA and assume the role which Miss Tessmacher is doing or something. I love me some Kristal. She was a really strong female talker and valet. Picked right up where Sharmell left off.
Ahh, she really came into her own in TNA, shame so see her gone :(

what a shame…i liked Kristal….ugh…but i guess its for her own good since what just happened this week pretty much marked the end of the Knockouts…:\
Still i wished to see her more…but i guess that will never happen :\

Kristal was ok at this role. i don’t think she should be around TNA or she would have been another Karen Angle. I read Kristal slept around with a bunch of guys in the WWE. poor bobby lol
