WWE signed developmental Diva, Jemma Palmer is due to appear at the first ever Pro-Wrestling: EVE show this May. Jemma, who we first revealed had signed with WWE last year, was due to report to FCW last month however due to delays with her working visa, is unable to begin her new career with WWE in the United States as of yet.
Jemma is still in the UK and will be competing at EVE in Sudbury, Suffolk on May 8th. It is not uncommon for WWE signed British talent to work independent dates while waiting for their visas, Raw Diva Katie Lea being an example.
“We’re very happy and excited to have Jemma Palmer as a part of EVE on May 8 in Suffolk. Jemma is a very hard working individual, very passionate about performing and entertaining, she’s a physical and determined woman and a tremendous athlete,” said EVE promoter Dann Read in a comment to Diva Dirt. “I can’t wait to see her take the stage at EVE to give us an example of what we will no doubt see on TV in the future and I can’t wait to make the announcement of who her opponent will be on May 8th!”
“Jemma is a prime example of everything EVE is about. EVE is about showcasing hard working female athletes with great attitudes who, while may be not currently known the world over, are without a doubt great up and coming athletes some of whom, like Jemma, will one day end up on the grandest stage of them all.”
“Jemma was a hardworking success story as Inferno on Sky One’s Gladiators and I’ve no doubts she will bring the same hard working, eager to learn attitude that will lead to success in EVE.”

Inferno — The info is from the promoter, as you can see by the comments in the article, that booked her for the show. You say you spoke to her a month ago, well a lot can happen in that time!

Huh? The article was just posted now.
the article was actually from February 24th, and plus when i spoke to her, her visa was stamped and everything and she was heading out florida within the week, after she got down some TV spots. and photo shoots. however, i guess something might have happened, but i dont know what it could have been. However, if she is not allowed in the US, then WWE will released her which is sad
well, we must be talking about two different articles then, i am talking about this one,

it was on feb 24th

I’m aware of that article. But it looks as though she ran into visa issues because she has yet to debut while Jamie Keyes has and now she has been booked for EVE. I have confirmed she is still in the UK.
Just to clear something up as some people seem to be misinterpreting what is being said by Melanie, I can’t talk on Jemma’s behalf but all that has happened is a slight delay in her plans to move abroad meaning Jemma is over here when the show is taking place on Saturday May 8. Once again I’d lke to say we’re very happy to have Jemma at EVE, the key thing about Jemma is that she is a hardworking athlete with a great attitude and that is exactly what you need to be to make a success of yourself in the pro-wrestling and sports-entertainment industry and we’re really looking forward to seeing the former Sky One Gladiator live on May 8.
oh for petes sake…what is it with Visas taking so damn long to process and stamp? Gosh….
Well, I’m glad Jemma has something to do while it takes even MORE longer…wish there was a way i can watch EVE in the states
yeah I’m happy she’s at least staying active. That shows her commitment to the craft. Good luck!
