TNA Knockout, Christy Hemme has signed a new multi-year deal with the company says president Dixie Carter.
On her Twitter page, Dixie gave Christy’s backstage interviewing a ringing endorsement by writing: “LOVE Christy in her new role.”
Hemme, who retired from in-ring action last year, took over the role from Lauren Brooke who left the company to get married.
Christy has been doing a great job in her new role and it must feel good to have that job security especially when the Knockouts have been like a revolving door in recent months. With Traci Brooks’ release last month, Hemme is now the longest serving TNA Knockout. Kind of bizarre, right?

That’s good to hear. I like Christy, and I think she does a good job as backstage interviewer. It is strange to think she is the longest serving Knockout though, I’m still not used to Traci having been released.
i love christy as an interviewer, something about her is so intriguing and she is great on the mic.
Christy is a absolute natural on the mic. Shes had a lot of practise as of late. I’d like to see her and Borash become Xplosion commentators. Much like Coach & Lita were for Heat all those years back.
Christy has always been a favourite of mine, I felt that WWE made a big mistake when they released her and it’s good to see TNA capitalizing on her great mic skills. Good luck to Christy. :)
When Christy was released from the WWE I was shocked, especially considering they kept other, less popular girls who didn’t show the heart Christy did. I’m still bummed she can’t wrestle anymore, but she was always a natural on the mic ever since her Diva Search days so I’m glad she got this gig. And not to be cruel, but I really despised that Lauren girl so I’m glad she is getting married, congrats to her hehe.
I agree with Dixie, Christy is doing amazing in her new role.
I really didn’t think anyone would be able to fill Lauren’s shoes, but Christy is doing an amazing job.

she is amazing at interviewing but she really needs to go back to wrestling there are only 10 current knockouts not including socalval and christy, TNA recently assigned 3 new KO’s have them start off as inteviewers than start wrestling i dont know why christy is an interviewer all i heard was tht after she took tht Chokeslam by lacey tht she was afraid?
I like her better as an interviewer than as a wrestler. She’s doing a great job. I liked Lauren, though, during the Abyss angle in particular. Maybe Christy will become involved in an angle sometime. Never know.
Come to think of it, (and to get a bit off topic) Lauren would have been the PERFECT follow-up ring announcer to Lillian.
