Former ECW backstage interviewer and FCW Diva, Courtney Taylor could be gone from the WWE after her profile was removed from the official FCW website late last night.
Taylor had been called up to the main roster last summer before losing the position to Savannah after deciding to take up vacation days that she had accrued. The move certainly raised eyebrows as she had just been called up at the time and we all know that those first few months are either make or break.
Though we are awaiting for official confirmation, the situation is not dissimilar to that of Jenny Cash’s, who we interviewed yesterday. Cash’s profile was quietly removed from the FCW website in February signalling her release.

COurtney taylor is soo beautiful and she is also decent in the ring. She’s like a total package! Thats gonna be sad if they release her.

You think taking the vacation from the leave she accrued played a part in this? I mean she didn’t come back after that and Savannah took her job. It’s perfectly legal for an employee to do that but the timing of it probably didn’t sit right with Vince.

Sorry, but WWE could be hiring the girls such as MsChif, Cheerleader Melissa, Awesome Kong. They could be hiring girls from Japan and Mexico. But they’re spending their money on ‘models’ which is basically what they are.
I DID listen to the Jenny Cash interview, and she seems very intelligent, she ran a law firm so she’s a success in that department.
But Courtney Taylor and the likes don’t bring anything to the table FOR ME. This is my opinion, disagree if you want, you can persuade me otherwise if you like, I am up for listening to your views.
I just wish WWE used the Divas how the REAL Diva fans want them to be used, and that’s real female wrestlers. I mean Courtney Taylor and the other girls who are not amazing, even Kelly and Eve, they’re on more money for being in the WWE than people like Cheerleader Melissa, MsChif, Sara Del Ray etc and they’re the ones doing crazy moves risking major injury and putting on amazing shows.
So that’s why I don’t care about Courtney Taylor etc, because yeah some might have passion, but by doing a roll up, or a drop-kick, is that REALLY meant to earn our respect when there are women doing suicide dives and diving off ledges in arenas onto opponents layed out on benches and tables?
^^MsChif hasn’t really shown interest in working for a big promotion. She has a regular job working in a lab which probably pays well.
well on youtube somebody uploaded a video with all 8 participants in the tournament for the FCW divas champ. it showed savannah,AJ,sereena,naomi,aksana,livianna,TAMINA and A BLONDE idk if it was palmer or the other ne blonde but they arguing with some guy in a office lol.

Courtney was a fool to take that vacation as soon as she got called up, but still she’s a lot better then a few divas they have on raw, (Maryse, Kelly Kelly)
maybe she is actually moving to the WWE she has made numerous appearances on Raw (she was tiger woods wife in that skit & i think she did something else as well)

And for all the models WWE has hired, they’ve hired just as many women wrestlers too. Beth, Mickie, Gail, Natalya, Melina, Katie, Jillian, Serena. Michelle McCool was a teacher before WWE but I think we can all say what a pro she’s become. Best of the ex-Diva Search girls. The problem isn’t with who they’re hiring but HOW the division is being booked, at least on RAW where the situation is one hot mess after the next each week with the 2 minute matches and no storylines to get anyone interested.
Well, I agree that WWE should be hiring more talented in-ring workers. But what does that have to do with blondes?! Eve is brunette and she’s pretty bad, Rosa isn’t blonde, tbh I don’t know what the hell she is (I’m guessing she’s a brunette). You see, it has nothing to do with blondes.

Well with Savannah, I have seen her in FCW, and I think she’s pretty good. She is a ring announcer for FCW, NXT and she also announces a few matches at PPV’s.
So I am pretty content with seeing her in her current position and I am sure she is too. She may have the chance to get in ring soon, but in my opinion if she sticks at it and becomes half the legend Lillian Garcia was, then I think that would be a success.
And Gail Kim ‘Just another Asian’.. If you ask people name an Asian female wrestler, then who comes to mind? Well I would say Gail Kim would. She’s not just another Asian, their are tonnes more blondes in WWE and developmental than Asians.
Gail Kim and Savannah.are the only Asian females in WWE.
Hamada is half Japanese, half Mexican, so half cast, and obviously TNA.
There are a few Shimmer Asian Athletes aswell.
But Gail Kim is not just another Asian, she’s a former WWE Women’s Champion on her debut, sirst Knockouts Champion, first woman to hold both titles, and these were the only two female titles at the time she won the Knockouts title. So I think that sets her apart from the rest.
The thing I don’t understand with your view Gail Kim #1 is why are you taking it out on the girls who are going into the unknown and working themselves up as wrestlers? It’s WWE that choose the girls, why should Courtney or Jenny Cash feel bad about it? Melissa and co. could be in WWE, but WWE don’t want them, it’s not Courtney or whoever else’s fault, why be pig ignorant about things and stereotype that they’re any less of a human just because they use to be a model? Did Trish not teach you anything?
Gail Kim could’ve ended up entirely differently, if WWE hadn’t of pushed her in winning her first match for the title, then she could’ve been an unknown in TNA and may not recieved the popularity she did, it’s about your marketed as much as talent. Anyone of the Divas could’ve been ‘just another ___’ it’s how they’re dealt with that matters.
Personally, I’m sad about Courtney’s release, she was one of my favourites down there both as a wrestler and interviewer. It seems the FCW Interviewing spot is a bad omen as Jenny did it alongside wrestling a few weeks before her release. I enjoyed Courtney’sdays as Beverly alongside Alex Riley and then being Wesley Holliday. She was one fo the original FCW TV Divas, it’s a shame to see her go when they’re wasting time on Aksana.

As for Courtney I see nothing in her that WWE doesn’t already have.
Savannah is a better interviewer/ring announcer.
Plus WWE have better in ring performers in FCW than Courtney.
Gail Kim got the title because she had TALENT have you seen her Indies? She was technically very good. And back in ’03 WWE actually had story lines and feuds and used talent.
The same goes for every Diva, what if, what if, well it happened so there is no what if.
And SERIOUSLY you’re acting like these girls are amazing people, they have looks and thats why most of them are in WWE. You have the odd Jenny Cash who has a unique background, but most of them ‘want’ to be Wrestlers just because WWE offers them a job, they suddenly become passionate. Yes some were fans, but then their were people like Gail, Mickie, Jillian, Katie, Beth etc who have started wrestling because they love it and because they wanted to become wrestlers, but others just get a contract handed to them with no skill whatsoever.
I mean , come on, Courtney Taylor was on ECW for like a week. And in FCW which hardly anyone watches (yeah I keep a track on it) but I don’t think OH FCW is on, or go searching online. Courtney was just not special in my opinion, that’s why I am not really bothered about her release.
Fair enough, I just hate the way people blame the girls for accepting contracts. I mean would anyone here turn down a six figure sum contract for a wrestling company if they were promised basic training at least? Course they wouldn’t. Plus, I think using ECW against her isn’t that valid, she chose to leave or take time off and was replaced, they didn’t do it to her, if anything it was her own choice.

They should give people a ‘try out’ period maybe.
WWE are so indecisive and always releasing people.

Has WWE’s popularity increased since the attitude era/early 2000′s?
Because what I can see happening is TNA getting stronger (if they stop trying to compete so hard, all they’re doing is looking slightly silly) and more big named WWE stars going to TNA, there for WWE losing popularity and maybe having to return to non PG.

The contracts that are “handed to them” are development contracts, you cant really compare that to the real contracts. They must learn how to wrestle before getting a real contract. And more than 50% of the FCW trainees never make it to the main roster. So the “models” arent just handed contracts, they are just approached to follow a training in FCW and have to work for that contract first. The only exceptions are the Diva Search winners, they recieved contracts for winning the show.
Wow. If she was fired and actually wants to be a wrestler for a living I could see her ending up in TNA. I wouldn’t see that as a problem (“they’re becoming the Divas!” etc.) considering this is someone who has worked her ass off for the last two years+ learning the trade. It’s kind of surprising if she was released as from what I’ve seen, she’s equal or superior in all categories as compared to many of those on the main roster, but maybe it ~was~ the odd vacation planning that did her in?
This does not surprise me because courtney taylor in ring skills didnt really improve and she started at the same time as tiffany and she still in developments plus her interviewing skills were not the best
oh i just watched AJ Lee, Aksana & Courtney Taylor vs Tamina, Liviana & Naomi Night and she did really good she hit this wheel barrel face smash thing i honestly have not idea what it is and i usually really good about naming wrestling moves,(she hit it on tiffany in there match for the 1st queen of fce tornament and that was flimed on 3-31-10 hers the video

Oh well, it’s bad when anyone is sacked and jobless but I tbh don’t think she improved at all in the ring unlike most of the other Divas that have came through/are in development (with the exceptions of Rosa Mendes and Liviana). Good luck to her!

I hope she isn’t gone from WWE. She was a great wrestler, but she was able to hold her own in the ring.
I will say, however, that she was the most charismatic girl they had in FCW. She was great as an interviewer and manager, so its too bad that WWE couldn’t find something for her in that capacity.
I know a lot of people like Savannah, but I’d prefer her in the ring. I don’t like the way she announces matches. Might be just me, but she’s no Lilian Garcia. Not even close. Candice, Torrie and Stacy Keibler were all able to do that too.

Appleman- The Move is a kneeling facebuster, she calls it the Hoe-Down.
And .MCH, Alicia was in OVW and FCW a long time before Courtney, therefore Alicia has had numerous training and probably recieved more of it than Courtney. I’m not making excuses, but it is likely why Alicia moved up and has done better compared to Courtney.
