How’s that for a fast turnaround? TNA has uploaded a brand new Knockouts webmatch between Madison Rayne and Tara which was only taped on Tuesday night. Watch below:
Madison is first out to the ring with Lacey Von Erich in toe. Tara walks down to the ring a little bare, now that she is without her Knockouts Championship thanks to Lock Box-gate, the name of which is ridiculed by Taz. Our sentiments exactly, Taz.
As Tara poses in the ring with her pet tarantula, Poison, Madison flees the ring for her life seeking solace in Lacey VE. Madison eventually gets back in the ring and tries to act sexy and it comes off super unnatural. I have never bought Madison as ‘the sexy bitchy girl’ and I still don’t. Not to say she hasn’t worked hard in trying to develop into the role, but I still see the girl next door trying to act all sexy~ and it’s all awkward looking. Imagine Taylor Swift gyrating. Yeah… not pretty.
With Tara ‘mesmerized’ by her Kelly Kelly-like dancing, Madison goes for a kick but Tara grabs her leg and slams her down on the mat before mounting Rayne and hitting her with several haymakers. I’d like to think that Tara is unloading her tension over the night before here. Tara hits a scoop slam, takes off her top [as you do] and hits a beautiful standing moonsault into a cover but no dice.
Tara hits a chop on Madison, irish whips her into the ropes but Madison reverses resulting in Lacey from the outside, tripping her up. Lacey shows off her ‘smart thinking’, meanwhile Tara tries to grab her hair but is attacked from behind by Rayne. Rayne chokes Tara in the corner before laying her over the middle rope and choking her with her leg. Rayne kicks Tara in the stomach then bounces off the ropes with a big boot to the head… quite an unusual but pleasantly surprising move there. She goes for a cover but the former champion kicks out.
Rayne chops Tara into the corner then throws her into the opposing corner and runs at her. Tara uses the ropes to elevate herself and jumps atop of Madison and goes over the ropes for the tarantula, hooking Rayne’s legs. As she breaks the hold, Lacey seems to be plotting something and distracts Tara which results in Rayne bringing her in the hard way and kicks her in the back. Then, and here’s something unique, she wraps her legs around Tara’s legs, turns over and repeatedly slams Tara’s head into the mat. Well, okay then! Madison then crawls across the ring towards the camera, equally as awkwardly as her ‘sexy dance’ earlier. Rayne then goes for a pin but no 3 count.
Madison now applies a headlock on Tara but she eventually mounts a comeback, getting on her feet and tossing Madison onto the canvas. The two then struggle to get back up before Madison walks into several haymakers from Tara. The former Knockouts Champ then hits a spinning side slam and goes for the pin but Rayne kicks out. Tara tries to get Rayne on her feet however she counters with a rake to the eyes. Tara eventually irish whips Rayne into the ropes and hits the Widow’s Peak for the 1, 2, 3.
Good match with Madison getting more offense than I have seen in quite some time. However, for someone who is one half of the Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Madison sure does lose an awful lot. With a depleted Knockouts roster, and barely any tag teams, it’s not as though the belts mean much anyway so there’s that. Again, I’m not buying Madison’s character and think she would be far better served as a babyface rising through the ranks but at this point, things aren’t about to change — someone’s gotta take all the beatings for The Beautiful People!

Great match but Madison’s single losing streak sucks.
Madison and Lacey were pretty scared of Poison. I remember the 8 Knockouts Tag Team Match from 3 weeks ago. Poison was placed in their corner but neither Madison, VelVel or Lacey was scared.
Is this going to be aired on UK TV on Friday? Because Angelina-Madison was not last week and it was supposed to be right? x
That was a great match on Madison’s part, sucks that she lost again in a single’s match.
I kind of agree with Taz, at one point he said that Tara lost her belt in an unfair fashion. I agree 100% with that, and I hope Tara can get it back soon. It’s great that she’s got Poison back, but she needs that belt.
Good match. It’s ridiculous how Madison is STILL the jobber of TBP despite being one half of the KO tag champs. The girl’s underrated in the ring. Why not Velvet take a pinfall in one of their Impact tag matches or something? She’s trying hard with the gimmick but she’s definitely got skills.
That facebuster move is awesome.
i was just glancing over some of the comments on the direct youtube page and found something i agree with about madison

it is unfair that she’s on the losing end way more often than she should be and i don’t know whether it’s just because she’s associated with lacey and velvet but not many people do realise she has the talent to back herself up in the ring. i often wonder how different things could be right now if angelina never had those visa issues. she could possibly be one of the top faces in the kos division if it wasn’t for her quick make-up with tbp.
she definitely comes across as having the babyface inside just wanting to burst through, but i don’t see that changing anytime soon, unfortunately. maybe if angelina was to rejoin and turn heel at some point or if lacey was to get rapidly better in the ring (even at just a christy/velvet level) perhaps they would turn rayne face, but as it stands the beautiful people need at least one more than average worker, it just sucks that she’s always the fall guy.

do you mean on xplosion which is shown on btvision? i’m not sure, but i don’t think they do air their webmatches on xplosion at all.
great match not awesome but good i want too see Madison win for once that girl is great over the crowd,nice moveset come on damnit lol but i like Tara lol her shirt Nice Widow’s Peak :)

It makes no sense why it’s constantly her who jobs out of them. Velvet Sky has nothing really to lose when it comes to crediblity. Madison is the one who needs credibility more than anyone. And I don’t think it’s because she’s the best worker of the group, so she can make her opponents look good when doing the job. I mean, Lacey jobbed to Angelina in the tag match on Monday and it put her over quite strongly. When it was just Angelina and Velvet, Velvet was the one who mostly took the fall in tag matches.
If the original BP reunite and Madison and Lacey become faces, it could be Madison’s chance IMO. And with Lacey in training right now, she will most likely improve her skills. She wrote on Facebook about her first training session and how much she enjoyed it and all the hard work that went in.
Madison Rayne is to TNA what Layla is to the WWE. It is rather sad if you think about it. Madison is one of the more talanted knockouts on the roaster, not to menion she is a champion. You would think TNA would stop using her as a jobber already. She has more talant then Lacey and Velvet combined. It is just sad how TNA is using her.
It was hard to pay attention to the beginning of the match with Victoria/Tara wearing a Twilight shirt… Seriously?
Decent encounter but I agree with everyone, let Madison win for once or at least not be pinned. Tbh Lacey isn’t that bad from what we’ve seen, and seeing as though it’s only a webmatch, why not let her get more experience in a match that less people will see?
Tara’s Widow’s Peak looked nice here but get rid of the Twilight tee. I seriously don’t care about if your on Team Edward or Team Jacob.
I thought TBP were like a 3 person tag team, so why wasn’t Lacey holding the 2nd belt? I swear they said something about any of the 3 being able to defend the titles.
I like TBP although I think Madison jobs too much, and where was Velvet :S?

Layla is a bland chick who comes across as fake when she is trying to be sexy. Also, Layla has a butt. lol
I am not a Madison fan, but I can’t deny the chemistry between her and Lacey. They really do look like best friends out there. Lacey holding her arms out for Madison looked like a little girl running to her mommy. haha I don’t think Madison was jobbed out as bad as you people make it seemed. She dominated a good chunk of the match and got caught with a finisher.. Like most heels do.
I agree with some of you, I want Lacey wrestling more. However, who would you put her with? She’s green.. But unlike the other green females on TV, she’s not little by any means. She has a thick, tall build. I still think she should go for the big man style.
melanie-madison’s dance looked forced, but her faceplant & snarl at the camera seemed like very natural slutiness and not kelly kelly-ish forced. She can handle being a heel or face. I still laugh when I think about her “I’m sorry” grocery bag.
I say make the faceplant her finisher. (so i’m a perv, at least i’m honest)

In fact laycool is a lame TBP rip off. wwe rips off the mean girl aspect but misses that TBP actually strong character development and strong character INTERACTIONS. Even TBP haters admit that velvet, madison & lacey have a freindhsip chemistry that works. laycool’s “you look good, no look good is zzzzz … and then there’s laycool’s flee market t shirts, forced catch phrases and aj styels hooded entrance, michelle’s aj styles finisher etc. etc. “simply facsimile”. Ebmich gets it, “lacey holding her arms out for madison looked like a little girl running to her mommy.” TBP are heels who can tell a story and create real (not kayfabe) heat with looking glass type fans who cry and stomp their feet at TBP’s tv time (and call me immature WTF), but I’m digressing…
madison will get her chance to shine as a singels wrestler, we have to wait
she can wrestle, she can cut promos and she’s hot, what else do you need?
