Does anybody know how Eve won? x
If they wanted to put the title on Eve, probably wasn’t the best idea to have her make Maryse tap, beat her up the next week, then pin her in 20 seconds two weeks after that. At this point, Michelle McCool, despite the juvenile act, is the only heel who doesn’t look like a total loser.
Eve isn’t that bad. She can perform a moonsault and few other impressive moves. But, the problem here is that Eve’s push wasn’t significant. It seems like she won the title out of now where, like Swagger. Maybe that’s the direction the WWE is going for at the moment. They want surprise victories that no one expects.

I have to agree with ChrisP! I’m a huge Eve’s fan and I’m glad she won the title but it’s true that the only current heel who isn’t a joke or a jobber is Michelle. And Serena, but she isn’t even wrestling yet.
Wow, this has been an extremely interesting conversation.
I really feel like Eve Torres, even though she is fairly new, even though she may not be an amazing wrestler like Jillian Hall or Gail Kim, they’re at least trying to do something.
I mean how boring is it to watch Maryse prance around with the title, doing maybe a move or two each match and then that’s it.
The thing is, Eve has potential, just like Candice had. Sure, Eve isn’t amazing, but she is one of those divas who can impress and improve. Maybe allowing Eve to win, will give her more of a reaction, because once she moved to RAW, no one really knew who she was.
And even though it’s a gimmick match, When have we ever seen a triple threat tag match with the Divas? Never! I mean come on, it’s something new. I’m all for tonight.

I think this is kind of a big mistake it’s way to soon it should have been Gail don’t get me wrong I’m a fan of Eve but I’m worried that a lot of fans are going to turn on her like they did Candice and eventually will let it get to her and starting trying to prove them wrong and become reckless and injure herself over and over like Candice I hope that doesn’t happen.

If people are getting this heated over Eve winning the diva’s championship, i can’t imagine what they would say if she won the woman’s championship.

can u really blame when they have stop watch hell even Melina botches at time and Gail botches at times can we really hold it aganist them when girls with much much more experience botches too
i will say Eve and Maryse do need to go back to SD cause Maryse proves she can’t rly wrestle live and neither can Eve the power of editing was on their side when they were on SD.

yes i know Gail & Melina botch at times but Eve botches ALL THE TIME in like all of her matches

Maryse is the Hulk Hogan of the women’s division. She’s only knows a few moves, but she makes up for it by having a strong persona/gimmick.

This f*cking sh*t sucks Eve can’t wrestle at all I know that Maryse can’t wrestle either but at least she brings something to the table besides being pretty. I would’ve rather seen kelly kelly or someone else win it if you think about it kelly kelly, alicia fox, and layla are way better wrestlers, but the WWE doesn’t want to give them a chance. I’m so pissed.
I’m really hoping that this means Maryse will be drafted back to SD!
@Paparazzi8o8. I completely agree with that. No way should Eve even be around the title, let alone win it. It is the worst mistake the wwe could have ever made. I still don’t get what they see in Eve. If someone could explain that to me, that would be great.

Yet Eve still manages to have awful showings in those short time frames. Up until 2008 I thought Michelle sucked, but at the same time she wasn’t getting title matches, let alone winning them.
lol i know it doesn’t make it better being that its the Diva’s title or the Women’s but look at who held the Women’s and who held the Diva’s yes it should be respected as a title but come on Diva’s championship has been around for 3 yrs now where the Women’s title has been around since the inception of WWE so i be more mad if the Women’s title was won that way.
Michelle may have sucked when she first started, but you didn’t see her getting a push and a title run that more deserving divas should be getting.

The title didn’t just magically make Candice a better wrestler. If anything it was the fans who thought she was garbage that fed her desire to prove them wrong. Maybe that will happen for Eve. So if that’s what it takes, I’m going to continue talking shit. :)
Yeah right Michelle was bad but wasn’t given title matches. Now she’s a former diva’s champion and two time women’s champion. She worked for it…or not (taker). Well I think she was more than ready and I like her gimmick.

People probably think that i comment this becuase im a huge fan of kelly, and to that comment i would say, that yes im a huge fan of kelly and i would love see her become champion, especifically divas champion because that a belt created for torrie to become champion but because of her injury she retire so i hope kelly win that championship.But i dont say that kelly deserve it more than eve because she is my fave diva is because she is a great wrestler and fans love her so is intelligent that wwe put as chamion a diva that everybody admire or love like melina or mickie or like trish was and like is kelly right now than a normal one.

People it’s the Diva’s title, not the Women’s championship. Let the big charismatic and strong competitores fight over the real gold, and the new fresh divas get the Diva’s title and blossom into better competitors as well!!!!
Eve will do just fine with the title if they allow her to. Maryse isn’t better then Eve when it comes to wrestling, and you talk about her like she’s some sort of a updated Ashley Massaro! Is it that bad for a new diva to get a title? Even if she will only be able to keep it for a week…

It’s kind of funny that every week seems to be the last straw for a lot of people yet every week these same people come back and bitch about the same things. If WWE was an rock band whose latest music outings were terrible, then we wouldn’t be listening to them, we wouldn’t be buying the records, we wouldn’t be youtubing them, we wouldn’t even be gossiping them. But people some people have the mentality of “I don’t like what’s going on, but I’m still going to continue to watch it.” I don’t get it. I really don’t.
