i think Maryse will retain, I’m not sure EVE is ready to be champion

They’re obviously waiting for Melina’s return, so I’m guessing that Maryse will retain in a 2-3 minute match.
even though maryse has been incredibly sucky since her return, i can’t help but see eve winning as nothing short of a disaster. then again, a face champion could mean the possibility of either a jillian, alicia or katie push. actually, with the draft coming up and mccool heavily rumoured to be traded to raw, they’ll likely give eve the belt just so she could drop it to mccool who could then feud over it with melina when she returns. a lot of what ifs, and i can’t remember who i decided to win lol.
It’s obvious to me: Maryse will retain and retain and retain until Melina’s back.
@ Kalendrina. What do u mean nothing short of a disaster. I honestly think that eve winning the title would be better than having maryse hold it. The wwe is so predictable that we all knew maryse would win the tournament, and we also kno that Maryse is going to retain tonight. Its pathetic to think that maryse should carry that divas title any longer. The wwe needs to wake up. A champion is not really judged fully on how they win the championship really, its what they do when they win the championship. Maryse honestly is good at a chaser or champion. Who in the hell does one move in a match and gets the win. Its horrible to even think about. I can only hope thet wwe gives eve the title. Im 95% sure maryse will win. But i will be in not only complete shock if eve wins, but i will be amazed at what will happen next.

With the WWE’s women’s Division more or less a very bad joke … I really am expecting Maryse to retain … what? Another botchfest … another one minute match … another disaster on the road to oblivion? The real female wrestlers on Raw stopped working a very long time ago and are sitting back doing their comedy bits and collecting their money.
Eve could win……if Maryse decides to get DQ’d or counted out. In any case, I’d be shocked if Maryse isn’t still champion. Eve has done nothing to deserve it anyway.

Got go with my girl Eve on this one. I doubt she’ll win it but hopefully with a good showing tonight she’ll at least start her bath to convincing her naysayers. Go Eve!
I’m thinking they’ll continue on w/Maryse. But if they put the belt on Eve I hope they/she will elevate her game altogether.

Well thats true lady sheamus. But maryse is nothing close to sheamus. Sheamus is a monster. Maryse isnt. I just think that she hasnt done anything to deserve that title besides look hot.
Much as I think that Maryses title reign is boring as hell, I still dont think that Eve is ready. Firstly, she gets ZERO crowd reaation as opposed to, say, Kelly Kelly. They havnt taken time to develop her character at all. Maryse who, while absymall in the ring, brings a personality and certain charisma and she does get a certain amount of heel heat. The heat she recieves may be nowhere near that of Simply Flawless, but she still has enough people that hate her. That means people still care about what happens to the title. Give the title to someone that no-one cares about, and it will lose all credibility. I was looking at Melinas Tweets and even she thinks that Maryse should retain. I dont think that anyone should expect a world class event, though. Lets just hope it lasts more than 5 seconds this time.

I still think there is a lot Maryse can do as a champion. People hate the fact that she is the center of attention because she doesn’t absolutely nothing compared to the other divas in the ring.
But one thing Maryse does that most of the other divas don’t do is like.. I dunno, have a reason for everything she does? She thinks she is better than you, so she does goofy hand gestures and faces. So, out comes the good girl to shut her the heck up. When she realizes she is getting her butt kicked, she pulls the ref in front of her or uses her opponent’s momentum against them with quick kicks or hair pulling. Finally, she ceases the opportunity the end the match.. Sometimes she doesn’t, but when she does, she has a FINISHER. A move that, thanks to the f’n indy wrestlers, have lost its effectiveness. After the match, she still gets up like “whatever, I am still better than you. Biatch. ”
Eve on the other hand.. Blah. You shouldn’t do moves that you will botch. Someone sit her down and tell her to quit trying to do dropkicks.
There is nothing wrong with eve’s dropkicks. So they dont look as good as michelle mccools. i have yet to see eve deliver a kelly kelly dropkick yet.
No there is nothing wrong with Eve’s dropkicks but thats the kind of crappy situation the girls will be given tonight, Eve takes an early advantage but Maryse will duck a dropkick or something else in Eve’s offence to hit the French Kiss, similar to how Maryse’s matches have been lately, someone makes a mistake (not sayin thats it will be a botch) and Maryse will capitalise on this to get the win. Really want to see Maryse in a big match situation again.
i think maryse will win tonight because there just isnt anything to Eve (not her fault) but WWE dont give her no backstage segments or interviews whereas maryse has been having loads…..on the other hand if eve wins tonight i think maryse will win it back because it seems to me that she will be the “trish stratus” of the Diva Title…..
i hope maryse wins, because it anyone deserves to be champion before eve it is Kelly Kelly. The fans actually care about her and she has so much charisma in that ring.

I think Eve will miss her top rope moonsault or something, allowing to Maryse to seal the match with a (French) Kiss.
Maryse has this one wrapped up. It’s way too early for Eve to get the title, she gets no reaction from the crowd so it would be a little pointless to give her the title. Say what you want about Maryse she still gets a reaction from the crowd and has a great character unlike Eve, although thats mainly WWE’s fault for not putting time into most of its divas.

perhaps disaster was the wrong choice of word, but eve just isn’t ready for a title right now. true, maryse is not much better in-ring, but she does have a gimmick, a personality, even a crowd reaction towards her to fall back on. nothing against eve herself, though, as it’s all down to wwe not giving her the time on raw to develop. i feel that if anything her development has gone back a few steps since moving from smackown.
No, I think disaster was a good way to put it. Eve is probably the worst girl on the roster besides Rosa. I’ve yet to see a single live match where she hasn’t botched. Putting the belt on her would in fact be a complete and utter disaster and an embarrassment to an already snubbed title. Maryse may be limited, but she brings other aspects to the table and gives the championship some significance. I would much rather them wait for Melina or book her in a feud with Gail Kim or even Kelly Kelly before continuing this mess with Eve.
i love eve in the ring but she will do all the work and maryse will hit one ddt and win
