Today, April 14th, marks the five year anniversary of three-time Women’s Champion and one-time Divas Champion, Melina in the WWE. Five years ago, Melina along with Johnny Nitro (now John Morrison) and Joey Mercury made their debuts as the formidable team MNM, taking SmackDown by storm. It’s been a long road for Melina who has had many feuds, title reigns and memorable matches, but today she stands as one of the top Divas in the WWE.
To celebrate Melina’s five year anniversary, join Melanie and I as we look back at some of Melina’s most memorable moments over the past five years, plus we are also joined by a special guest.

So glad that McCool is next. I really hope you do the same here since she is great and deserving too. Her interview would be great to listen too as would any interview you guys do.
I love Diva Dirt! <3
And after 5 years I never liked her.. until she said that stuff about Eve, now I love her lol
Eve sucks :@
melina is one of the divas that stand out i mean looks wise & moves to her ring entrance its just wwe has never given her a stand out rivalry besides mickie & jillian….
How could she possibly worry that she won’t be remembered after her career is over? She’s incredible & is definitely going down in history. There is no one like her & no one that could ever replicate what she does.
melina also had a great match with jillian at a aper view, hopefull jillian is next as she also had great matches with michelle mccool and mickie james on heat
Lol, love how Mr Socko commented more to get himself out of the hole he dug himself. I think it’s went unnoticed, there aren’t any OOT Melina marks here who would bash you for saying that! I can see Melina being a bitch in real life too, but that what I love about her haha.
Loved the podcast, it’d be nice to see more for some of the other Divas too in the future, however didn’t Melina debut earlier? I recall Melina debuted after Orton won his title or a big match and threw a special limbo contest as a celebration, Melina came out wearing like a blue corset and looked considerably different to how she does now, she sort of floated around with Candice for a few weeks before not being seen again until the days of MNM.
Am I right? Or losing my mind? lol
Yeah I just read it November 2004, meaning Melina’s been with WWE for Six years, although it wasn’t til April 2005 when she appeared again as part of MNM. I’m not nit picking, but its weird to think how long she’s been there, I hope now Eve’s Divas Champion and they’re building her up, Melina will return as a heel for the brand rather than a secondary ‘support’ face. I loved Melina’s A-List gimmick and her face turn has sort of watered it down, it’s time the Divas got more attention and started by putting Melina on the mic and giving her some exposure to rebuild the division again.
OMG such an incredible woman and awesome interview i agree with her trying to create something beautiful in the women’s division
Great interview. I wish all the divas where as passionate about wrestling as Melina.
I’d love to see Natalya Vs Melina!!
I love that Podcast/ Interview. You could just hear the passion radiating from her voice. Also the excitement she would get when certain topics were brought up was amazing. I adore her because I know she adores wrestling and it’s refreshing to hear someone with that outlook.
Thank you Melina for being a role model, an entertainer and a champion! Melina is by far my favorite wrestler and I can’t wait until she returns. This was an awesome podcast and it’d be really cool if we could see more of these in the future. :)
I love Melina (my favorite diva of all-time) and great interview Diva-dirt. Melina will always be remembered if you ask me.
Great Interview Diva-dirt if people hate Melina personally after that interview they have issues.
