TNA Knockout Daffney is doing okay according to the company’s president, Dixie Carter on her Twitter page. Dixie wrote:
Daffney has been released from the hospital. She has a deeply bruised sternum & a severe stinger (temp spinal trauma) but no nerve damage.
Daffney was hurt prior to last night’s Impact tapings in a tryout match with Team 3D Academy trainee, Betsy Ruth. Sources that have worked with Ruth in the past tell me that she is known to be a stiff worker.
Lots of love to Daffney on a speedy recovery!

I hate that she was hurt at all, but its a relief to hear that she is going to be fine. Get well soon, Daff!!
good thank god for that i googled the other chick like wtf why be stiff its wrestling not real fighting….
Being a little stiff in the ring is one thing, but being unnecessarily stiff is just stupid and wrong. It will also probably keep her from getting a job on a national platform. She could have paralized Daffney, shame on her.

I hope Daffney gets better soon and isn’t away from the ring for too long. We’ll miss her far too much!
I ask myself if that wouldn’t've happened if Daffney would’ve won the title….anyway I hope she recovers quick. I already miss her :-(
wow Angelina Love was also injured at last night’s taping!!
She caught her arm in Tara’s knee brace in a spot. Reports say the initial belief is that it is not serious, hopefully that is the case.

For those who missed it earlier, Daffney was injured during a pre-show match at the TNA Impact tapings. She was working against an opponent from the Team 3D wrestling school. There was a spot in the match where Daffney performed a sunset flip on her opponent.
The spot called for the woman to fight off the attempt and then sit down on Daffney, who was supposed to move. Apparently, Daffney forgot to move, which led to the injury. She managed to finish the match, but was unable to move afterward.
One TNA source tonight who raved about Daffney’s toughness. Her opponent was described as a huge woman, so the impact of the woman crashing down is believed to have caused the injury even though Daffney managed to finish the match.
but, even thought daffney forgot to move,i still think that just wear she was injuried, hurts the chances of the other women getting signed by TNA , which is to bad

Thank god it’s not WWE she’s signed to, Daffney would be axed by now.
I can’t believe this has happened to her, it’s a shame but I can take it with a pinch of salt seeing that since the feud with Tara, all she would’ve done anyway is jobbing out to the Beautiful People in the Beautiful People…I mean Knockout division. TNA nearly changed my perspective of them when they did that feud, but then changed straight back to their Diva ways of putting looks over talent to scrape in the casual viewer.
And for those who don’t know, Betsy Ruth is currently in Wrestlicious as Sister Ophelia, the nun who escorted The Naughty Girls to the ring in their main event tag match.
