Rosa Mendes and Natalya were two of 11 Supplemental Draft trades on WWE.com today.
Natalya, along with The Hart Dynasty, now moves over to Raw. Meanwhile, Rosa Mendes is now on SmackDown, breaking away from her beau Zack Ryder.
Both of these moves are in addition to Kelly Kelly’s switch last night on Raw. She is now part of the SmackDown brand also.

I don’t mind Nattie’s move to Raw. Rosa and Kelly are horrible picks. Unless they plan on bringing divas up from FCW, Smackdown is screwed. Smackdown got screwed in the draft in general. Vince is making sure Smackdown will be the “B” show and that people will stop praising it over Raw. It’s his fault Raw sucks.
Maybe Serena will start wrestling on Smackdown? That would even things out.
I’m not that joyful with the drafts. I was hoping for Jillian to move to SmackDown so she could become a highly respected competitor and a hazard for Beth Phoenix.
Just tell me that Rosa sticks to the managing role b’cos tbh, she not that good as a wrestler. i think raw got the best draft out of the divas.
Also, Simply Flawless could debut a new member. Maybe a new FCW girl? Maybe a bodyguard? (Kong) It makes more sense to send a new girl to Smackdown. They probably have something planned since they have a lot more divas on Raw. With Natalya & Melina on Raw, Raw could be amazing now.

and Natalya to RAW, it was obvious that that was going to happen, but I like it. I hope that Melina’ll return as a heel, then takes the Divas Championship from Eve, and then feud over it with Nattie, that’d be awesome
The Raw Divas were really helped by this draft, mostly though subtraction.
Kelly and Rosa aren’t big losses, plus losing Hornswoggle means he can’t ruin their segments anymore. And, obviously, Natalya is a great pick up.
The most immediate consequence of this I see is Beth getting a new partner in tag matches vs Michelle and Layla in super over Kelly and possibly former Raw buddy Rosa should they swing her that way. Alternatively, perhaps a mini Kelly/Rosa or Tiffany program (I perfer the latter) on the side as well.
i think natalya was a waste of a pick…..the tag titles have to be defended on both raw and smackdown anyways

Kelly/Tiffany would work well together, even in a tagteam. Laycool Vs Kelly/Tiffany could be a fun match.
What! That’s it?! Rosa, without Zach is not a great thing IMO. I loved her in managerial girlfriend role. However, she is a disaster in the ring. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ALICIA!! I stand by my opinion that she should be part of Simply Flawless. Firstly, it would truly get her over as a heel, something that she has failed to do on RAW. It would also give her a chance to trully emerge as a character. She obviously has flare as a sassy, fearless chick and I honestly think that it would be a great contrast to Michelles cool viciousness and Laylas cute, comedic perkiness. But…WHATEVER. Happy for Natalya. She really needed a change. I just hope that she now has a chance to have some proper ring time.
i could see someone joining simply flawless, and then Michelle favoring the new member, Layla get jealous, and then a new feud for Michelle. No idea what they are gonna do with beth
Definitely a bad draft year. What I dont understand is if LayCool were being kept on Smackdown why have Michelle drop the title so early. Obviously the best idea would be to have her keep the title and prolong the fued for another month or two before Beth eventually won it. I’m kinda worried about the direction both brands are going to take considering they basically have the same roster, I think its going to get very stale very fast.

Thats 3 vs 3, with Serena as a possible future heel.
Raw:
faces: Eve, Melina, Natalya, Gail Kim, Bella Twins
heels: Maryse, Jillian, Alicia Fox
So there just arent enough heels right now. 2 Heels recently went face, and 1 was released. Sure, they could’ve send Alicia to Smackdown instead of Rosa, but SD needs a heel jobber so Rosa is more logical than Alicia right now.
WWE needs to buildup more heels (Melina and Gail), and have Serena become active as wrestler. So no matter what WWE would’ve done during the draft we would’ve complained anyway.
I like Nattie go to Smackdown, but i’m so disappointed that Michelle didn’t go to RAW… I won’t see her in France

I’d like to see a mini Layla vs Kelly Kelly feud though, that’s really the only positive. Beth vs Michelle is probably gonna go on for another few months.. ugh.
Eve, Maryse, Gail (heel) & Melina sounds like a decent division but you just know it’s gonna be week after week of the faces tag teaming against the lackluster heels. (Jillian & Alicia)
@ XxChristinaxx- Totally agree. But, for reasons only known to the Man Upstairs, SD is stuck with cute-but-bland Kelly and……Rosa. We were all so excited about the Draft but we now have to settle for THIS. Yawn.

Yeah, I skimmed your comment :-P With the THD comes Bret. Vickie greatly helped the women’s division get attention on Smackdown, similarly Bret could help on RAW. During an interview he just needs to demand a divas title match for Natalya to give a divas match an extra bright spotlight. I’d also like to see Miz/Maryse. That duo would work well together, it could also lead to some interesting matches with THD. THD already has a fued with The Miz, it would be nice if they could somehow include the girls into the fued.

Thats kinda a silly reason. In shimmer 90% are brunettes, but i’ve never seen anyone complain about that ;-) If the divas are properly used by the creative team on SD, then it shouldnt matter if they are all blondes.
@Mikas With Serena, Smackdown would have enough heels. This seems like the perfect time to hire Kong. She’d make an amazing heel on Raw.

The problem isn’t really who was drafted, because honestly, they’re quite good choices. It’s just that Melina should have been drafted to SmackDown and Morrison should never have been drafted to Raw. Them being on SmackDown would’ve opened the door for a storyline with Punk and his disciple people, obviously now including Mercury. An angle with Mercury could’ve really given them the character development and fan support they need at this point.
We have Beth, Tiffany and Kelly as faces and then LayCool + Vickie, Rosa and Serena as Heels. So basically we have two wrestlers left on the sd womens division plus Serena who I doubt the WWE is in the rush to put in the division as an active player. With a champion as dominant as Beth Phoenix and the pool of challengers the SD! womens division have after this draft. I’m afraid her reign is going to get stale real fast. As much as I love to see Beth and Michelle mixed it up in the ring. I can’t imagine seeing them drag this feud for a whole year. Aside from Michelle there’s really no other challenger for the title. I’ts just hard to imagine Layla or Rosa, even the other faces for that matter to go toe to toe with Beth. It’s either they start using Serena or do another divas only draft.

The only downside regarding Natalyas move to RAW is that she and Serena are unlikely to meet in a match since SES are still on SD! I had high hopes to see them fight after that match with SES vs THD. But once again, The E has dropped the ball on a possibly great feud. I hope that Melina returns as a heel. I also think that Gails heel turn is way over-due.
Natalya’s move is OK. Just hope she gets involved in more matches because a push for her is LONG overdue.
Rosa’s move was waste, should have gone to Gail Kim.
Kelly’s move is fine with me. She is improving and I’m sure working around Beth Phoenix will help her out.

They need to have some kind of Diva trade, this really is not equal in any stance. I mean they could of gone with Alicia, Gail, or Jillian, and they pick… ROSA!

I think that Natalya will not wrestle for the title, just as the Bellas, Serena and Vickie Guerrero (hopefull), I think that WWE made this move because both roster needs 6 divas for wrestle, now Raw has Melina, Eve, Gail, Maryse, Alicia & Jillian, Smackdown has Beth, Kelly, Tiffany, Michelle, Layla & Rosa…..the others are just managers or valets, but I hope that WWE could let Natalya & Serena wrestle soon because they are great. I can understand the choice of use the Bellas like valets of Raw GM, but Serena and Nattie could be great champions in both roster…(sorry for my english I’m italian)…
Most of the draft is plain odd to me. Like Rosa Mendes? Why move her? The only positive I can see coming from that move is that Layla will no longer job. However, when Michelle goes out of the title picture (or when Beth does), who will be the new challenger? I see Layla turning Face if she and Michelle get into a rift so she could challenge Michelle, but I don’t want Beth to lose the title. If that was the case, Beth could face Serena.
Kelly’s pick is weird to me to because no doubt she will improve yet I doubt fueding with Rosa will be interesting. I just don’t see her being a credible title contender right now, especially for the Women’s Title.
Nattie is probably going to stick to managing but I’d like to see her fued with Alicia and I’d like Gail to get involved, yet RAW’s Divas don’t get enough time for more than one fued and, it’s just a mess.
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting too many moves this year because they just engineered a major divas trade in October. Safe to say that my expectations were met.

The draft kinda sucked this year. The only major moves were Edge and Jericho to Raw and Kofi and Christian to SmackDown. I was also hoping for a title to switch brands, because both brands have pretty unique ways of using them all. By far the worst part of the draft this year is definetly Hornswoggle to SD. Hornswoggle is now going to ruin the SmackDown diva segments, which are way better. When is that little fucktard going to be released dammit!
I think they have too many faces on RAW. At first I wasn’t on board on the idea of turning Melina but if the WWE is serious about pushing Eve as the top face of the division, she would need a lot of strong heels to put her over. I would keep the Bella’s as faces and Nattie too for those important and seemingly random tag matches. Nattie being a strong ally to the champion against the top heels consisting of Melina, Jillian and Maryse. Since SD! is moving to ScyFy I doubt they’ll move their number one eye candy so Maryse is staying on RAW. Plus Maryse is still in a feud with Eve. I feel like Jillian should be next in line but if Melina returns, Melina vs Eve should be the main feud for atleast the remaining half of the year. And since Nattie is well Canadian she wont remain face for too long. Lol. Hey it’s WWE logic. A bitter feud with once besties storylines is almost always a killer.
On the SD! side I would move both Alicia and Gail. Not counting Serena that makes four contenders for the womens championship. Gail should remain face for a good portion of the year. After Michelle gets a rematch a short program between Alicia and Beth would do wonders for both. Alicia getting elevated to another level and a fresh feud for the champ. Meanwhile Gail should enter into a feud with Michelle that will eventually turn into a number one contendership match. The supporting cast namely Tiffany, Rosa, Kelly and Layla would be the tag partners sometime jobbers for the main divas. Laycool being a group could always help their leader Michelle in any situation they get into. Interfering in the number one contenderhip match resulting into a dq. Vickie being part of the group can also change a 1 on 1 fight between Gail and Beth into a triple threat. With Gail finnaly winning the title…but since she’s Canadian. Lol you know the drill.

Boring this has to be the weakest Divas Draft in a while…I mean Rosa to sd..all she is gonna be is a jobber…now there is no one that i can possibly say is gonna b nxt womens champion , so most likely it will b Michelle (again)….Jillian would have been a perfect new oppenent for Beth nd her womens title…..ughhh I can see it now beth vs Michelle fued for the nxt 7 months…uless serena comes in

The only good thing I see about Nattie to Raw is the possibility of Nattie vs Melina and Nattie vs Gail. I don’t want her to win the Divas title – IMO it’s still the lesser title, and I think it’d look just silly around Nattie’s waist. Her vs Beth for the women’s title would’ve been fantastic.
