Former WWE Diva, Torrie Wilson is reportedly looking to join TNA says company official, Hulk Hogan. The iconic wrestler revealed the information on Howad Stern’s radio show earlier this morning.
Wilson retired from WWE in 2008 following a career-threatening back injury, for which she had surgery later that year. She then returned for a one-off appearance in the Miss WrestleMania battle royal at WrestleMania 25.
Last year, she was the runner-up on NBC’s “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” reality show, losing out to actor Lou Diamond Phillips.
In an interview with Diva Dirt last year, Torrie told us that she had never previously been in talks with TNA.

Diva Dirt, Torrie Wilson may have told you she never had discussions with TNA Wrestling, but she stated in other past interviews that she had discussions with Jeff Jarrett to join TNA Wrestling, however she wanted to focus on projects outside the wrestling world.
If Hogan says so, its a high possibility…even though I also said months ago that Kong would be a major asset in this new era and that he was a fan of her…
Anyways. Torrie suits well new TNA. Her rings skills are better than LVE and at the same level than Velvet Sky. Not to mention that she would be a better asset than the valets they decided to hire.
I wouldn’t mind seeing Torrie there, because I kinda don’t care about TNA anymore.
I hope Torrie joins TNA! I miss her :-)

Weird … she used to say that she’ll never get back in the ring again due to her back injury in 08 but I guess she’ll be doing something else if she joins TNA. I’ll be glad to see her on TV again. My fave Diva of all time. Btw it doesn’t surprise me that she got in contact with Hogan about this.
Good for her! Torries a great on screen character and is VERY popular with both the male & female wrestling fans.
If shes there I hope shes used well – Knockouts are being released & yet there are still plenty with the company which dont do nothing … TNA need to sort out what there doing with their Knockouts titles before they decide on hiring or fireing and moe women. =/

I hate to agree with Ana_Nattie_rules on this topic. But honestly, I don’t really care for TNA at the time since they’re contradicting everything they once said their womens division was all about. In my humble opinion, Kong leaving affected the Knockouts as a whole, I lost almost all my interest in the companys female division ever since she left. They need to hire someone like Sara Del Rey or Madison Eagles to gain back the credibility they lost when Kong or even Melissa left. Both, probably some of the greatest women in-ring workers of our days. It also doesn’t help not using the big talents they have left extremely poorly (Hamada; Sarita; Taylor Wilde), instead they rather get the Beautiful chicks doing their slutty entrance and their weak in-ring performance (minus Madison, I guess).
It’s sad, but I wouldn’t care at all if they hired Torrie. I probably wouldn’t care if they hired back Jenna Morasca, I mean, they’ve got at least 4 girls who are less talented workers then the likes of Rosa Mendes and Kelly Kelly. Sad.
I love Torrie but I doubt she’ll make much of a difference to the TNA KO’s roster if both Tara and Taylor leave. I just don’t get why Torrie is going back to wrestling. She even said quite recently over Twitter I believe that her back injury has ruled out any return, (WWE is definitely ruled out with their hectic schedule.)
Good luck to Torrie though, at least she’ll be back on TV. And as everyone has mentioned, she’ll suit the new TNA well. And she’s a WCW and WWE alumni, so in terms of star names, she’s one of the biggest out there.

He also said he was in talks with Goldberg and Steve Austin. And he said TNA would get a 3.0 rating under his guidance. The past 10 years he said a lot of things. I stopped taking him serious a long time ago. Every time he gets on the BTLS show he reveals something new to get people talking about, but rarely it results to anything.
Perfectly put Mikas, although I can believe Torrie would go to TNA, I don’t think Hogan is that full of shit to make-up a minor wrestling star has interest in his company.
Well, if Hogan isn’t that reliable, maybe Torrie will state the true soon.
everybody knows Hogan is full of Sh@t,but it would be cool if Torrie would join ansds i think it would give the KO’s a higher profile….and torrie wasn’t a horrible worker.

Ehh…I don’t think Torrie is gonna join TNA. Her good friend, Lisa Marie Varon aka Victoria/Tara, is leaving. Why would she even bother? Plus she’s got her store and everything to take care of, so chances of her to TNA…I don’t think so…
Love Torrie Wilson, still do judging by her posters on my wall. She was my all time favourite but I just can’t see her in TNA… if anything wouldn’t WWE take her back in a heartbeat? Though maybe she does want to get back into wrestling, but take on a lighter schedule (TNA). I don’t know, I’ll believe it when I hear her say something.
Plus, maybe she wants to finally prove herself in the ring and TNA would be the way to do it… we’ll see, lol. But it’s still highly doubtful in my mind.
She shouldn’t return to wrestling, as much of the Torrie fanboi I am She could further injure her back and it could wreck her life, and I don’t want that to happen to her, no matter how much she had gotten better.
Btw, even IF she wanted to return to do some wrestling, who not return to WWE? I know the traveling is like WTF?!?! But shes get more of a paycheck at the end of the day, plus WWE want girls with Torrie’s image, and shes been there before so they know what their working with.

I highly doubt she’ll be in a wrestling role people but it would be nice to see her in TNA.
I would love to see Torrie back in wrestling. She’s so beautiful and you can’t help but love her. I always thought she would make a great Miss Elizabeth-esque manager for someone.

If TNA Wrestling does sign Torrie Wilson, then it’s just another wasteful signing. Torrie Wilson will bring NOTHING to TNA Wrestling. She is not even an average wrestler and we already have three Knockouts who just stand around and do nothing (Christy Hemme, Brooke Adams, and Chelsea).
How can anyone believe what this pathetic man says? Unless it comes from Torrie herself, I won’t read too much into it.
I would really rather TNA hire a credible wrestler than another WWE castoff. They should focus on putting together a division of new female stars instead of relying on old ones, who in Torries case isnt the greatest wrestler and probably would quit after a year over pay issues just like Tara. Focus on people like Hamada or Sarita, these two women have the potential to run the division so why not give them a chance instead of relying on T&A, bring back the old meaning of the knockouts division.
@TNAFan80: not to sound rude, but, last time i checked, christy hemme is a backstage announcer. she doesn’t “stand around and do nothing”. neither does chelsea for that matter. she is a valet for desmond wolf. and her character is starting to come out of it’s shell. however, i will agree with brooke. as a matter of fact, if i wouldn’t be into women’s wrestling and i just saw tna i would not even know who she is.

I doubt this is true. I have never heard anything about this until now. You can’t really believe a thing that Hogan says. This is the same man that said he could get Randy Savage to come to tna.

Christy Hemme is doing what SoCal Val has been doing for many years, however she is not nearly as good as SoCal Val.
Chelsea is one of the WORST ring valets for a wrestler in a very long time. She stands there looking bored and confused. Not once have I seen Chelsea do anything that resembles managing, even counting her horrible skit with D‘Angelo Dinero.
Brooke Adams is severing the “T&A” for TNA, that’s it.
TNA Wrestling does not need Torrie Wilson. I agree with Litaker61, TNA should use the money they would be wasting on her and sign four new Knockouts from the independent scene.
Finally on a positive note, I just heard that TNA Wrestling has decided to use Santana G. as an active fulltime wrestler
TNA needs to focus on re-building the KO division, not bring in more eye candy.

Torrie was never a good a wrestler. She’s Maria level at best, which is why she never became Women’s Champion or even a title match.
