We are extremely excited to announce that former WWE Diva Katie Lea, real name Kat Waters, has joined Diva Dirt to bring her ‘Short & Snappy Tales of Greatness’ column to our readers.
Kat, who was released from her WWE contract along with Mickie James on April 22nd, used to post her blogs on the WWE Universe website but they will now be exclusive to Diva Dirt. Anyone who has read Kat’s blogs in the past will know just how witty and charming she is, so her new column should be just as great. Stay tuned for the first issue!
Furthermore, Kat will also be a guest on the Women of Wrestling Podcast with Stew Allen and Lee Burton later this month here at Diva Dirt giving an exclusive interview.

Absolutly fucking awesome!!!!! I am so proud of the guys and gals of Diva Dirt. You work tirelessly (that is a word, right?) to bring us entertaining colums, interviews, write-ups and podcasts. I think I speak for everyone when I say that this is THE site for all female wrestling fans. Thank you for putting so much love and energy into giving these women such a great platform when others dont even bother to acknowledge them. Man, this is exciting! Cant wait to hear what Kat has for us. Congrats Diva Dirt!

As for topics: wrestling in general, divas action in general, perhaps her experiences in WWE and how she sees the treatment in WWE (which is really bad i think), her plans and everything with funny, snappy and charming comments :)

Another awesome acquisition, the whole team are so lucky to be apart of these awesome experiences and rub shoulders (so to speak) with excellent people like Katie. I can not believe how huge and amazing this is. D-D 2010 is definitely your year, and being Kat’s my favorite diva obviously, it’s the best announcement I think you could have made to me.
Personally I have no suggestions because whatever Katie writes about is going to make me read it without a doubt. I LOVED her short and snappy tales of greatness when it was posted at the WWE Universe site, so in all honesty, I don’t think anything I come up with could match hers.
…and an interview later in the year?! This is too much for me to take in right now. Just when her departure was starting to kick in for me, D-D is there to save the day. BEST NEWS OF ALL TIME.
I love it when a former Diva/Knockout lands on their feet as you all know, but what’s even better is when they land on their feet here at Diva Dirt. I heard from Kristin that Katie is very witty, so hopefully we’ll get to see that, I mean like everyone’s said she could write about a can of soup and I’d probably still read because it’s Katie Lea. I’m so glad, just when Diva Dirt outdoes itself with the Untitled Allison Danger Show, it trumps it with Kristin’s chat and then landmarks that with Katie’s introduction here.
I agree it’d be cool to see the Kat’s Cradle go audio, but then again anything is more than what I was expecting.
Just a quick question, does this mean Allison, Katie and David will be added to the Editorial Team page now? And the WOW Podcasts, I’ve never got them ebcause they’re not done by any of the team, are they a sister site that post here also or are they an actual part of the site?

I’m extremely happy with this. I’m not going to ask you to write about WWE itself and the problems you had with the company, simply because that is something more appropriated for an interview, in my opinion.
However, If you could write about funny things that happened while you were on the road, that would be great. I always was interested in knowing those types of stories.
But what i like to read about is the simple things of life. Just write whatever you want, don’t write what others say. Inspirational writing is way better than thought writing…at least in columns.

This is really exciting news! I am a huge fan of Kat, along with many others here. I can’t wait to read her blogs and here what she has to say.
Also, my suggestions are honestly pretty much the same ones that everyone else has. I would like to hear her thoughts on the state of women’s wrestling in general, if she would consider TNA, etc.
I would also like to hear her side of the story of which women she thinks are the hardest working, easy to deal with, and dedicated.

Katie it would be my dream to talk to you even if it was on a the internet. I think what you should do is show a past match you had in the WWE or OVW and give your take on it as well as how your opponet performs. It would be a different sort of air on this website. You could also show matches you were not apart of but like.
I think this is really cool and I will read anything Katie blogs on here no matter what it is. So cool that she’s writing a column!
