On tonight’s live edition of Impact, Tara challenged Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne to a ‘Title vs Career Match’ at the Sacrifice pay per view on May 16th.

Obviously, we know how this one will end as Tara announced that she would be leaving TNA after her contract expires on May 23rd. Looks like Sacrifice will be her last date, unless they swerve us.

Nonetheless, it’s nice to see such a high stakes match booked for the Knockouts and gives Tara a big exit rather than just disappearing. It should make for an exciting match and could give Madison a big rub at Sacrifice.

boring. we already know the result. and tbh, if tara does decide to stay (therefore winning) she doesn’t deserve another run with the title.

i actually can’t wait until she’s left. it’s been one long year of constant tara.

it’s great seeing madison in a singles match.. on a PPV. it’s a first, right?

  2. It’s a high profile match for Madison Rayne and could potentially provide her with some major rub.

Pretty sure when Angelina Love returns from injury she’ll step in as the top face.

  3. Since it’s Tara’s last match I hope they give it alot of time and hopefully they make it a phenomenal match!

  4. Maybe with moving back to Thursdays and getting more money, they could offer Tara more money. I doubt it but never say never.

Agreed Toby- I’m not a big Madison so let’s hope she brings all she’s got at the PPV and make herself a little credible atleast. Id take watching Tara over Madison anyday. Madison bores me..

Edit- meant to say, Not a big Madison fan.

I’m thinking this. Lacey and Velvet will either be banned from ringside or during the match thrown out. Then Angelina (since she needs no surgery) will show up, attack or distract Tara and cost her the match and her job; giving the Angelina/Tara feud an ending.

@Madslam2009: “…they could offer Tara more “money. I doubt it but never say never.”

Lisa walked away from good money at WWE because of principle (kept making her lose), but there was respect when she left. Because of those ‘bad employee’ rumors being released as soon as Lisa decided not to resign due to a salary dispute, she is probably DEFINITELY leaving TNA because of disrespect. They couldn’t offer her Kurt Angle money to stay.

Wow, I hope wins and then she can retire straight after winning with a farewell to all of us faithful fans. It would be a nice moment, but on the flipside, Madison’s my favorite Knockout! And seing her get that type of rub would be epic!! :D

Well nothing is final. They should work it out. Victoria is better off in TNA. If she goes to WWE, then its back to jobbing. Let’s face it. As beautiful as she is, she is almost 40 and competing-looks wise- with WWE Barbies. It won’t happen. If she’s intent on leaving, then id love to see her move on to MMA.

You notice how happy Christy was.

Anyway, when she loses do you think that they’ll keep the camera on Tara’s realization that she is without job? If they do, will the Impact Zone crowd give her a Standing O or will they sing the ‘goodbye’ song? I could be wrong in my opinion and I don’t know her thinking, but maybe right now she could care less one way or another.

As Bilbo Baggins said in Lord of the Rings: Return of the KIng, “I think I’m… quite ready for another adventure.”

“it’s been one long year of constant tara.”

    I CONCUR.

For you people predicting the ending already, please keep in mind this is TNA. The only thing for sure is that TNA has an amazing habit of doing dumb booking moves for “shock value”.

  13. I just hope she gets a good send-off. Her retierment speech for WWE wasn’t even aired on TV. It was on WWE.com if people even go to that site.

I hope it turns out to be a great match, and Tara does the “right thing” on her way out and puts over Madison Rayne. I am not sad to see Tara go, so hopefully this is a new beginning for the Knockouts!

They did Madison Rayne vs Tara on Xplosion not all that long ago (perhaps a month, month and a half ago?) and it wasn’t anything special. Here’s hoping they can pull out all the stops and put on an entertaining match.

Sounds like a match to remember if your a Madison fan, and I’m proud to say I am. They’ve had a match on Xplosion before and it was decent at best. But heres hoping theres NO beautiful people, at least 10 minutes, and they are allowed to work the way they want to.

This is gonna be a good match, I can feel it. =-)

That match should be good yet I don’t see Madison’s rub being a massive one. She’ll talk about her win for a few weeks and then it’ll fade back into the dross that is Impact and it’ll be forgotten about.

I hope it’s great. Tara’s been delivering for me, particularly in these past few weeks. If she goes, which she probably will, then there goes another great talent. And just because Tara is gone doesn’t mean that all of a sudden the floodgates will open and the others will be featured prominently (may or may not). I’m anxious about the direction this is all going in. TBP week after week is not gonna do it for me. They’re entertaining but not the best female wrestlers in TNA. Do something with Taylor Wilde and another good worker – that, I would like to see. It would be nice to have more than one solid storyline going on at once. :) And I guess they dropped the Dr. Stevie gimmick? I’ve not seen him in many a moon unless I forgot something. I miss me some Dr. Stevie and Daffney (as a pair).

  19. Maybe TNA will try to kiss her ass and give her a title at sacrifice in oder for her to stay.
Doing a review on Tara’s short TNA career, we’ve got to see her a lot of times, yet none of her title reigns can be consider remarkable, at least in my opinion, because they were short reigns.

But who knows…maybe they’ll do her a humilliating lost.

    bye bye Tara :(

i wonder what direction the knockouts will go in, the KO roster seems to get smaller every month

    @Lady Sheamus

Those are my thoughts exactly. TBP are entertaining to watch during their skits. I just don’t care for their wrestling or skanky showboating. Like I’ve said before, “Less is More.” They should just have them featured in short segments backstage for awhile, keep them out of the ring until they polish their skills. Madison is boring, Lacey can’t wrestle, and Velvet is a lot of talk and no action. I’m going to youtube their “amazing” matches from Shimmer to see if I can get behind them. Right now, I’m not impressed.

Also, id like to see Steven Richards and Victoria reunite for her last two weeks.

You wont find shimmer matches on youtube (or any other tube-site outside of china), unless you meant small promotional clips. But for only $7.50 you can buy their cds on rohwrestling.com
