TNA may have turned her down but Wrestlicious seems keen to resurrect Ariel. Former Diva and Knockout, Shelly Martinez has tweeted that the company is interested in bringing her in as their new vampire character, a role that Martinez is already familiar with. She writes:
ps wrestlisous is interested in me being their new vampire character :) we shall see what happens in the mean time long live Sprinkles!!
Martinez previously portrayed a gothic, vampire-like character on WWE’s ECW brand in 2006 through 2007 as Ariel. I don’t know about you but a character in the same vein seems right up Wrestlicious’ alley with their gimmicks.
TNA Knockout, Daffney can be seen as Draculetta on the current season of Wrestlicious TakeDown.

I think she’ll be the next Draculetta, or maybe an vampiric Elvira, like I said in the Wrestlicious write-up (i think)

Another Shelly/Vampire run would be nice to see again, loved her as Ariel. But instead of Draculetta, have her as a new vampire chick, one word comes to mind ….

I wonder if this would mean that Daffney’s not going to be with Wrestlicious further. If not, Shelly’d be perfect for the new vampire gimmick! I think a run with the company would be good for her.

from what i gather, any footage of daffney on wrestlicious was taped before she signed with tna, so she’s not technically there anymore already. the same goes for madison and lacey.
Why can’t she keep any news a secret? I wouldn’t be suprised if they didn’t use her because of this, but then again, I don’t see it as a big deal and I don’t see many familiar faces vying to become Draculetta.
I was hoping Katie Lea would be the new Draculetta.. oh well, I’m not a fan of Shelley but I do think she’ll be an improvement over Daffney. :x
