Wrestlicious will crown its first ever champion on next week’s episode (#9) of TakeDown, we can confirm. The match will see Felony (Rain) and Glory (Christie Ricci) compete for the belt after they won a 20-woman over the top rope battle royal on episode six.
The show airs in Canada on Monday at 11pm ET on Bite TV, in the United States on Wednesday at 11pm ET on Mav TV and will be available online next Thursday.
We’ll have the exclusive first interview with the Wrestlicious Champion in the next couple of weeks also.

I want Glory to win because if she does, more heels will be pushed. Most of Wrsetlicious’s heels are the biggest names on the indies snd are the best wrestlers out there. Plus Glory has been treated as a jobber her entire wrestling career. This is her chance to shine.

oh, god! it probably will be a tiara come to think of it, haha. hence the “crowning”, i guess. oh, well, we’re not supposed to take wrestlicious seriously, anyway! although, come to think of it, if i was a woman wrestler, i’d prefer fighting over a tiara – easier to accessorise with :)

It’s pretty obvious the first champion will be a face. I might actually tune in to see this match, if I put the sound on mute and wear sunglasses to stop me from being blinded from the pink ring ropes.
Should be a corker with these two topclass first class women, both of whom bring exceptional talent and strirring beauty to the frasy. Ricci herself has said her customs with Rain one of best in her career. Only drawback: both talk too much.

They are mirroring GLOW way, way too much to have Rain’s character win the title. They need an edge to the show if it’s to last, but it sure doesn’t look like they are trying.
