Well good, the two ladies story threads are getting linked together. I like the team of Alicia and Maryse. And Maryse threw Gail around into that backbreaker. Not great as far as wrestling, but the storyline is interesting again.

The match was very messy, minus the Gail Kim parts. Is Cole right in Gail Kim being a 2time Champion? I swear I only remember one title reign?
Cole has said 2-time champion ever since Gail returned it seems. I think they are sneakily acknowledging it.
So next week, Alicia gets the pin over Eve, just to make it seem like everyone possibly involved is a threat?
Intertwining the two stories in one match. Love it. See how the crowd was dead when Torres came out. Despite being champ, Eve is still GREEN. She needs a personality injection if she wants the crowd to get behind her.

Yeah, Cole has said that a couple of times. Either the TNA title is being counted or someone’s punking him by not letting him know the deal. LOL! Okay match, if a little sloppy at times. But I think I’m officially tired of Eve/Maryse.
I’m not sure if the Fatal Four Way stip at the PPV next month applies to anything besides Cena’s match and Jack Swagger’s match. I can’t imagine them doing anymore than two, maybe three. 4 or 5 matches with the exact same format on one PPV would be overkill.

i think i recall it being for ALL title matches. whether or not that applies to the divas is another story lol.
WWE should do a Divas 4 way with the 4 that was in the ring. The Divas have better matches in 4 ways than singles matches (mostly due to timing issues).

Just give the title back to Maryse. She sucks as a wrestler but…..she has character, personality and is a good heel. She stands out. Kind of like Stephanie McMahon back in 2000. She was no wrestler, but the Title built up value again and was a big deal when Lita defeated her.
If people want Natalya to be Champion so badly…then I suggest a Maryse victory at the PPV. I like Eve, but she’s a weak Champion. The Championship should go back to Maryse for now. She can defend her title by cheating as she has been. Then finally, Natalya will be the one to put her in her place. Natalya needs a strong heel personality to work with if she is to get over with the fans and Maryse is the girl for that job.

These guys (Truth & The Miz) are having a great match. I’m hoping for an R-Truth victory but I’m guessing The Miz ftw.

i personally think that after this feud maryse needs a break from the title hunt shes ben in it non-stop since she first started chasing michelle mccool for it in its inception

@Kaledrina – I noticed that, too. WWE tries to force Eve onto us, and it’s not working. You got to have character to get over in the WWE. Eve, from what I’ve seen from her, has no character, or doesn’t show it. That’s why I can’t take her seriously as champion. I would prefer Foxy over Torres, cuz she has personality and character.
@Jayd… I think so too, but unless Eve gets over as the top face in RAW’s divas division and is able to elevate others, Maryse will be needed in the title hunt.
I do like Eve but like many can’t really get behind her right now. She pales in comparison when it ocmes to personality compared to Maryse and I can’t help but want Maryse to get the upperhand in this feud. Simply because she makes me laugh and I like the deminsions she keeps hinting at. Plus she’s hot as hell! As for that match, Alicia and Gail are good together and I loved that hurricanrana from Gail early on. I think that at Fatal 4 Way all the TITLE matches will be contested under that format, but I could be wrong. If they did go that route this bunch could easily pull off a good match. The upside of so many wrestlers in one match is that you can more easily hide Maryse and Eve’s weaknesses as well as capitalize on their strengths.

You don’t need mic time to show you have charisma or a character. Back in early 2008, Maryse was just strutting to the ring like she owns it before people even knew her name. It was only a matter of time before people who take notice and it didn’t matter if you could say her name or not. I also don’t buy the whole “face/heel” thing either. Since we are talking about Eve.. Lita was as equally “Style vs Substance” and got over HUGE and the only talking she did in that first year were just reasons why she shouldn’t be allowed to talk. It wasn’t just because she was interfering in Hardy Boyz matches. She maintained that popularity for most of her career.
As far as the match goes.. Yikes. It just makes me chuckle to see so many people go on about how Gail and Alicia should be used instead of Eve and Maryse when given the chance, Gail and Alicia are are equally all over the place.
Well it seems we are back to the short 1-3 minute matches again. Oh well it was nice while it lasted. Ok match for what it was. Everyone did good. I like how Alicia helped Maryse win; maybe this could lead to a 4 Way match between the 4 of them at Fatal 4 Way?
@Rodneyclint, those are my thoughts exactly. They can have a match similiar to the 4Way between the Divas in 04 at Bad Blood. I really like that one. Maryse can sneak the victory in the end too like Trish.
I don’t think every title match at Fatal Four way is actually a “Fatal Four Way”, that would become over kill by the third match. I believe it is just the WWE and World Championship matches.
lita got over majorly because of her being with hardy’s and reason it was maintained is because she essentially keep that same character throughout plus lita was involved in story lines outside of the divas (which most of the divas of that time were) which majorly helped with all of them getting over with the guys th fact that the divas are like a complete separate entity doesnt help them. and yes ill agree that u dont need mic time to get over with the crowd and show personality but it does go a long way in helping. there arent many ways that face can show personality by just walking down the ring

I think that Maryse is a good wrestler but she just hasn’t put her full potential forth yet, or she’s just lazy. I think that she improved so much from her debut to feuding with McCool and that her injury was a big set back for her.
I think that Eve is trying to become versatile but ither its not working or shes judt doing it rly slow. I thin kthat Eve has good in-ring ability but has a flat character as opposed to some other divas. I think that Eve still has a some way to come.
Alicia has shown so much improvement and has developed a passion for wrestling. (i’ve never seen a passion for wrestling like Christy Hemme’s though.) And I think that she works really well with Gail.
And Gail, i think, is more diffucult to read. My brother and I all like seperate divas and Gail is one of his faorites. So ill have to refer to him on that one. Haha.
Haven’t they all ready done this, when the osbournes when on?
