Sarona Snuka Debuts on Raw

Tonight on Raw Sarona Snuka, known as Tamina in FCW, made her WWE debut. She and her tag team, Jimmy and Jules Uso, attacked Natalya and the Hart Dynasty. We don’t know what moniker she’ll go by in the WWE, but a good bet is that they’ll stick with Tamina.

What do you think? Are you looking forward to a 6-person feud with Tamina and her men against the Hart Dynasty? Are you excited to see Natalya take on a bigger role?

Natalya vs Tamina should be good
Uso’s vs Hart Dynasty in 6 person mixed tag team match.
    Winner take tag team championships

I am so excited for this. I saw them in April and Tamina is a GREAT manager live. She has really good mic skills and knows how to work a crowd during the guys matches. Jimmy and Jules are great in the ring, so I’m sure with Natalya working with her, they should be able to pull out some good work all around in a six person tag. The Splash was EPIC! Can not wait to meet her in June, especially now that they’ve all debuted =)

It almost makes me thankful they’ve released Carlito, because as we know the Colons were lined up to feud with the Harts, so its good that they’re going with new talent – especially the Usos. I find them entertaining, each of the trio are good on the mic and Usos are pretty good in the ring. I have a feeling Tamina will spend most of the year just as Natalya does, but with this feud at least we’ll see some initial 6 person tag matches and maybe a singles?

At the same time, I wish they’d go on SD, does Raw really need another heel? Also it is a cross brand title, the Unified titles shouldn’t just be defended on Raw 24/7.

I didn’t play any attention to
    Snuke, but those two guys
who she was with are, yummy.
    They are fine…..Rikishi made some
    good- looking sons.

But yeah that why a great debut
for Snuke and the Uso brothers.

I’m nervous and worried. Tamina has been working for 8 months and needs A LOT of work. I’m so nervous that WWE is going to hold her growth on RAW and in WWE on Nattie’s shoulders. I think WWE may have jumped the gun with her call up to RAW.

Also, I’m on AIM and talking to a friend and I pointed out something there, so I thought I’d bring it up here. I actually didn’t like their debut for one main reason …. Bret Hart is the new GM, meaning he would have to be part of new talent coming to RAW. Why would WWE have the “Samoan Soldiers” jump the Heart Dynasty in wrestling gear and from backstage?! Storyline wise this was a FAIL … Also I’ll chalk up Jimmy’s botch top rope performance to nerves.

    ERROR,

    what..

Are Snuke and Uso Brothers related?

natalya neidhart vs serona snuka… bring it on..

although i really never seen serona wrestler.. i wonder how well she will fair off against the formidable natalya.

i have to give it to wwe though.. they are really pushing all the young wrestlers.. im impress.. despite the stupid comical gimmicks from guest hosts..

Trisha, they are all part of the Samoan wrestling family. I believe they are cousins.

I don’t know, I know the Fatu’s (Usos) are closely tied with the Anoia’s, I’m not sure about the Snuka’s. However Jimmy and Jules are the sons of Rikishi, I’m pretty sure that the Snuka’s may be some relation to the Fatu’s.

Also TNAFan, Tamina has done work on other promotions and surely it’s better she’s working with such an accomplished talent. The worst she could be is Lacey Von Erich level and yet somehow she has supporters? WWE knows what they’re doing, they wouldn’t do this if they didn’t have faith in the three, I think Tamina’s wrestling role may only be short term anywa.

    I like it.
I’ve read that she wasn’t THAT good — but if she could take a page out of Terri Runnels, Trish Stratus and Stephanie McMahon’s book and not try to be wrestler (until she gets the proper training) and get in the ring and do like managers used to do back in the day, then I’d be happy.

I do miss those matches when we had nonfull-time wrestlers go at it cat fight style instead of trying a bunch of technical and high flying moves and looking a fool.

But I can’t judge her wrestling style til I see it myself. And I missed RAW tonight :/

Looking Glass, had Tamina not have had a famous last name, and based on her limited wrestling ability do you really believe WWE would have even given her a look at or called her up to the main roster so soon? WWE had to jump quickly because of the release of Carlito. In my opinion, Tamina and the Samoan Soldiers were in the right place at the right time.

I loved her debut and can’t wait to see her in action. I turned for one second and missed the beginning of her attack. Now i just hope AJ Lee debuts on Smackdown. Smackdown needs some women bad.

TNAFan, they obviously trust her somewhat, most WWE fans don’t watch FCW, no one would’ve known any different if the Usos were called up on their own. Tamina could’ve easily stayed behind to tend to Donny Marlow. You could use that argument, but the writers obviously find them a better trio than they do a duo and to be honest I’m glad we’re seeing new talent and not the same old. I mean everyone’s all over Betsy Ruth and she took Daffney out, so I don’t know why you’re so worried. I like Natalya too, but even if she was injured it’s not like she’s getting a push anytime soon. Plus there’s been greener works than Tamina who have put on safe and sometimes good matches, I don’t see the big headline round here.

Sarona looks great!!! And how she flies off the top rope, she’s a real chip off the old block.

    May 25, 2010 at 5:01 am

Natalya vs Tamina…blah blah blah. How many YEARS!! has Tamina have in training?? Just because she’s a 2nd Generation star or 3rd Generation Star doesn’t mean she already has wrestling mastered. I’m hoping for the best but Tamina’s wrestling skills don’t give much hope.

    May 25, 2010 at 5:03 am

Sarona and the Uso’s arent related even remotely for one shes fijian and Uso’s are a part of the Anoia samoan wreslting family (which pretty much every samoan WWE wrestler has been part of) so thei not related but im sure their gimmick will be that they are either that or she’ll be dating one of them

I missed this!!! THIS IS AWSOME!!! Glad to see the hart dynasty getting the push they deserve, and tag team wrestling getting more emphasis. Natalya vs Sarona Snuka? HELL YEAH!!!

now in fantasy booking, all we need is Lacey Von Erich to manage her cousins Ross Von Erich and Marshall Von Erich and take on The Hart Dynasty and Sarona Snukas new team haha

We can try and look at the positives. They could keep this feud going for a couple of months and then have it spill over to a possible Title feud. She might not have the most experience, but she can atleast perform a top rope splash. That indicates she can atleast handle herself in there.

The guys will be doing the majority of the work anyway. I hope Tamina and Natalya can step up and make their interaction memorable. If they do, they could get rewarded with a Championship down the road.

Think Team Xtreme/T&A and Trish Stratus in 2000. Time to get creative. I love these kinds of feuds.

The two guys Sarona is with are the sons of Rikishi, and are part of that famous Samoan wrestling family that includes Rikishi, The Rock, Yokozuna, Umaga, High Chief Peter Maivia, ect.

This is AWSOME!! and actually gives me a reason to watch raw, or atleast DVR it, because I want to see where this goes!!!

These are two of my favorite wrestling families battling it out!! The Von Erichs will always be my favorite though.

The WWE is all about second and third generation wrestlers now days, aren’t they?

this will kind of be a throw back to the 80′s, Hart Foundation vs The Wild Samoans style….with the new added element of the ladies.

Good deal! I’m sure Nattie will continue to further Sarona’s training since they’ll be working together. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for this feud.

i think it’s way too early for sarona to be called up, i also feel that raw didn’t need a new face – smackdown desperately does, BUT if it gets natalya back in that ring, then bring it on.

ah this is quite exciting a bit wierd how ever since the draft Raw seems to be slowly emerging as the No.1 brand again can quite honestly say with all the storyline progression taking place im starting to look forward to Raw again every monday

WWE needed a good tag team division and not just some random teams with weird name. Yes, Jiz, I’m talking about you guys. However I find it kinda unfair for AJ Lee. She’s been in FCW for a way longer time than Tamina. I hope AJ has a chance on SD!

Maybe this tag will go to SD! Since the Tag Team champions wander around both shows, there’s not a problem with that. Sarona looked so pretty. Her outfit is to Serena-esque.

great news to everyone.the Dynasty needed someone new to feud after the PPV and Natalya has the chance to have a lot more ring time and mostly Sarona has the chance to continue to improve by learning with one of the best.
i didn´t have the chance to see Sarona wrestle yet, let´s see how she will act in the ring.

Its always exciting whenever someone is debuting. They made impact but the commentary made it look s boring! Natalya is an awesome wrestler! She should be a champ by now.

didnt diva dirt post footage of sarona in a FCW match, i don’t remember her being bad
    and she’s done independents

so I’m sure it’s a good move, she looks very beautiful,
she wasn’t in FCW long, hopefully friday we can see another Diva get called up to SD :P
come on WWE ad AJ lee to the mix already

“However I find it kinda unfair for AJ Lee. She’s been in FCW for a way longer time than Tamina. I hope AJ has a chance on SD!”

i agree and i find it really odd that they wouldn’t put a new diva on smackdown, where it is soo obviously needed (which makes me think sarona will be more like serena in that she won’t wrestle a legit match for ages). i’ve heard quite a few places report that wwe are trying to hold off on debuting new faces on smackdown right now, though, due to them moving networks soon, so hopefully after then aj will get her shot. :)

They can do a lot with this feud if they play it smart. Maybe on Monday have a six person tag match and have the Samoans cheat to win. Then afterwards they can build up a 6 person tag rematch for the PPV where the Harts win. Which means, a lot of of cheap wins for the bad guys and a lot of catfights with the divas. This is their chance to do something exciting for a change, let’s hope they capatalize on it.
