Injured Knockouts, Angelina Love and Daffney have been given the all clear to return to action, Dixie Carter has announced via her Twitter page. She writes:
Great news. Angelina Love and Daffney have been cleared for action & will be back in the coming weeks. We have missed you guys.
Love was injured in a triple threat match involving now former Knockout Tara and Knockouts Champion, Madison Rayne during an Impact taping in late April. She suffered a partial bicep tear and complete ulnar collateral ligament tear.
Meanwhile, the Scream Queen was hurt during a tryout match with Team 3D Academy student, Betsy Ruth who went on to be signed by TNA and will debut as Rosie Lottalove on this week’s episode of Impact. Daffney suffered badly bruised sternum after Ruth reversed a sunset flip by sitting on her.
Great to hear both Knockouts are ready to come back, the Knockouts division is obviously in need some of steady hands. Love seems to be the clear choice to be the top Knockout and lead the division as a former three-time Knockouts Champion. However, it looks like it’ll be a while before we see them. TNA taped three/four weeks of television last week, we should see the pair back following the Slammiversary pay per view on June 13th.

Thats such good news. Cant wait to see both back, hope either of them get a shot at the knockout title as soon as they’re back because I’m not buying Madison as championship material.

Great news! The division needs all the talent it can get at this point. Angelina was getting back to form following that triple threat match against Tara and Madison last month. It was one of the stronger Knockouts matches this year.

Hell yes!!! These two couldn’t have picked a better time! I’m really tired of TBP running the Knockout’s division. They pretty good in the ring, but not THAT good. With Tara out of the picture, Madison has no one to face off against for the KO Title. I also would like to see Daffney turn face. She wouldn’t have to change her character though. She could go all psycho bitch crazy on all the heels! That would be great!
Cant wait to see Angelina Love back but due to her injury she might have missed out on a push :( She should have been the one Tara lost to :(
And also because of that 3 day impact taping we wont see her for like a month!

I read about those rumors too. With Dixie so happy to see them, I hope she’ll also be happy to renew their contracts too. I feel Daffney has a lot of life left in her. Why not give her the Title atleast once? She’s pretty much the “hardcore” knockout of the division. I wouldn’t mind another match of “10,000″ tacks or whatever that was..I just remember I enjoyed the match, short as it was. And her interaction with Victoria was great. I loved it.
When WCW was around, I became a fan of Daffney then. So it was a pleasant surprise to learn that she was still around for TNA. She should do the “scream queen” thing more often as well.

So everyone at Diva-Dirt that has bashed her should stop. It probably was done in a jumping form and that can injure anyone. If she dosen’t do it, she’ll be in great shape to impress the TNA fans.

Daffney has a few Indie bookings before she’ll return to TNA so that’s good, I thought when she confirmed it herself that she would wrestle for NCW Femme Fatales on June 5th that that meant she would be back in TNA soon. I can not wait to see her back on Impact, I missed her presence on the show. Surely she will get a good feud when she comes back. She still has so much more to show everyone and even if her contract is expiring soon, it should get renewed coz she has so much more to give yet in the wrestling business!
VonVille: I see your point but honestly, I wouldn’t mind seeing Daffney as a face. It’s not necessarily the alignment that kills the character, it’s the treatment. What makes Daffney great is not necessarily the fact that she’s pounding on the faces but rather, the way she does it and the little mannerisms that go with that. She can still work that hardcore style while pounding on the Beautiful People. Heck she can even be a tweener since there really isn’t one in either the KO or the diva’s division. That too would be refreshing.
