Not gonna lie, its juicy stuff. But if Maria isnt careful, she is going to look like nothing more than a bitter ex-employee. Compared to how Mickie handled her release, Maria is really starting to sound childish and bitchy. I wish she would just focus on her music and TV career before all this bitching hurts her reputation.

People aren’t going to like the Melina comments because Melina has recently been portrayed by both the WWE and herself (via Twitter) to be this really nice, amazing person. And I’m not saying she isn’t either of those things, but we know how women are with eachother, especially when it comes to men and I don’t doubt for a second that she did that and that it was annoying. It’s kind of juvenile. I’m glad that Maria is sharing her expericence, it’s cool to hear what goes on behind the scenes. I watched Torrie’s shoot interview soo many times and it wasn’t even that juicy. I wish Mickie would do an interview but I don’t think she wants to burn bridges and I think Maria is talking because she doesn’t care. Can’t wait for the full interview.
Maria should be wary of starting a war of words. Im sure Melina and other people could easily find some nasty things to say about her. There are two sides to every story.

I’m glad she’s being truthful, i hate when Divas just sit here going “oh everyone was great, i loved it there, nothing ever went wrong” because it’s fake, Maria and Krissy have both spoken about the Divas being Divas so we know it still happens lol
I saw the shoot on Highspots.tv I reccomend it to anyone, it is very interesting.
RHV, well put on everything. She’s burning bridges that’s for sure, but I’m not gonna do a “if I was her” because she can do what she likes and say what she likes. That said, it’s gossip, for now it’s one sided at that, thus it doesn’t deserve our judgment one way or another.

I can’t wait to see the entire thing. I love when people are candid. It’s one of the reasons I liked the Jazz/Rodney Mack shoot. And a bonus is that Maria can also point to her own faults. I never was into Maria the wrestler but always thought she played her character well and comes off as a funny and intelligent girl in interviews.

I agree. It’s a case of two people who just didn’t see eye to eye. This is Maria’s side and I’m sure Melina has hers too. And, somewhere in the middle is the truth.
Hey Diva Dirt, Remember when you got a hold of Melina for her 5 year anniversary interview? This is just a thought. Maybe you could do it again and ask her about the WWE Divas and ask her what it was really like? That would be really cool and ask her about what Maria said.

I don’t like what she says about Smackdown. I disagree, Smackdown is where you go to revive your career (Ex Beth). There’s always too much going on on Raw, but on Smackdown they focus more on storylines and matches, at least for the divas.
Melina earned the respect of the fans by working her way up in the indies and by becoming an amazing wrestler. Maria gained fans because fans liked her. In the end, what matters most is what goes on in the ring. Petty feuds are irrelevant. If Melina is a bitch backstage I could care less. All I care about is that she’s an amazing wrestler and that I enjoy her WWE persona.

She worked EWF/UPW before going to ‘Tough Enough’ and getting a development deal with WWE. I think Melina is great (one of my favorites in WWE), but working for 2 local indies in your hometown isn’t “working your way up in the indies”.

I’m so getting this DVD. I don’t know why people are so intent on women going through the indies before going to the WWE. I think no matter how you end up in the company if you put the work in then it shouldn’t matter. Michelle never went through the indies and I think she is better than some women that did.

It’s good to see she is speaking out. It seems she doesn’t want to come back to WWE because the ones who don’t do shoots are because they want to come back and are just hoping for WWE to hire them again.

Maria was released on February 26th, so if her 90-day clause started immediately, she will be completely free from WWE starting tomorrow.
I did read somewhere that during this shoot interview, Maria confirms the long rumored story about Michelle McCool telling Natalya that she (Natalya) needed to learn how to work. Maria apparently called it “hilarious”.

MIAOW! Maria really is letting it all hang out here and I’m sure it’ll be an interesting listen. There is definitely some juicy gossip there about Kelly and Melina (nearly typed Melanie for a minute there lol) and I may just have to purchase the four parts of the interview. :)
I use to think Maria was nice, but she just sounds as a bitter girl. She’s reminding me of Sunny and that isn’t a good thing.

I saw the entire shoot and she doesn’t seem bitter at all. She never bashed Vince and appreciated what he did for her. To me, she edited herself a bit more in this interview than the interview with Diva Dirt.
She didn’t badmouth Melina at all. They asked her if the rumor was true that Maria held a meeting with the divas after her breakup with Punk, telling them that he’s hands off. She said no- that was Melina. And to be honest, even Brian and Kendrick said similar things about Melina in their shoot.
Smackdown can go either way for people and many wrestlers dread being sent there. Either management send wrestlers over there to finally get over and get away from the politics of Raw (ie, Jeff, Punk, Kofi) or they just have no idea what to do with them and it’s the last stop before being released.
Shoot interviews thrive on teasers that show the juiciest parts of the interview and will get people talking- which you are all doing and why it’s called a teaser lol.
Thanks, Amber. That’s why I made sure to note that I just read online that she had said it. It seems odd to lie about what somebody said in a shoot interview that’s already been recorded simply because it’s such an easy lie to disprove.

I think al these bitter comments are pathetic. This is an interview which is meant to be juicy with lots of gossip and personal opinions, if it was an ordinary interview saying She was lovely, He was great Blah Blah Blah (What a tune from Ke$ha btw ;))
then no one would bother buying the DVD!
She’s entitled to her opinions, She’s allowed to broadcast them. Yes, shes most likely is burning bridges, however, maybe she doesnt want them? & anyways, like we saw this year @ the HOF, bridges CAN be rebuilt!

“- Talks about Michelle being such a hard worker, and having to step up because of her relationship with Undertaker. Talks about her toughness working through injuries.
- The idea of making fun of Mickie weight wasn’t Michelle’s idea…but many of the ideas for segments once it was to become a storyline came from Michelle.
- Toughest part of being a female wrestler was the perspective from people outside the industry, comments like ‘you’re a wrestler? But you’re small and pretty!’
- Goes all lovey dovey over Punk saying how she wanted to marry him and everything
- Didn’t know anything about his past relationships (you should have learnt from Daffney you silly girl)
- Their relationship wasn’t received well since dating a guy from the indies was inappropriate
- Being with him backstage took a lot of attention off of her, since he was quite controversial backstage and commanded a lot of attention
- Talks about heat with Kelly about her ‘incidences’ with Punk after they broke up. “It’s kinda obvious now that she’s the type of woman who…it doesn’t matter who is with who”.
- Says that CM Punk and Lita aren’t dating anymore, but they were. Says she knew that they wouldn’t last. (really?!)
- Talks about Lita being the type of person who is often “behind a wall”
- Says she’s heard a rumour about Punk now being with Beth
- Carlito would “flirt with anything with two legs” but they were never together
- Doesn’t really know what happened to Ashley in terms of her leaving the company, but always liked her and describes her as a “tremendous talent” (LMAO)
- Ridiculous the nature of the wellness program based on the lack of healthcare provided by the WWE
- Talks about her pay going down despite the profits of the company increasing over the last couple of years
- Has received interest from TNA, but not any official conversation or an offer. She hasn’t ruled out going there
- She talks about cliques in the Diva lockerroom, but getting along with most of the girls with a ‘couple’ of exceptions (for some reason the interviewer doesn’t ask who). She says that there was some girls who ‘hit her harder’ because they didn’t like her but it didn’t bother her.
- Says that Mickie’s relationship with Cena played no part in her Mickie’s release
- She talks about OVW, where she had a great time…and talks up a lot of the talent, MNM, Beth, Seth Skyfire.
- Jim Cornette was the only one she felt disrespected by, based on what he wrote about her before even getting to know her. He said that she was stupid and didn’t know anything about wrestling (he said that about a lot of people).
- The DS girls were told not to have too much interaction with the guys in the lockerroom, and it led to them being received as arrogant.
- She said that it was only her and Michelle that had any idea about who any of the wrestlers were, and it was a bit of a disadvantage because they were starstruck.
- She never got ribbed, but she saw things happening backstage.
- She saw the Cornette/Santino incident at OVW and couldn’t believe what was happening.
- Talks up Paul Heyman, who was one of the first people to call her after she was released
- She worked a lot with Vince and Stephanie on her segments when she was first called up to work on the road. Also Dave Lagana (who now works for TNA)
- She sent a thank you letter to the office when she was released, and Vince replied with an email saying that they wouldn’t forget about her.
- She says that Trish is a very powerful (SSP!) woman and was driven to achieve everything she did. “She’s so good at everything.”
- Torrie was “too sweet to be a wrestler”
- Talks about Trish knocking her filling out (because she was too stupid to close her mouth when getting hit)
- She was surprised when Christy got released, and she doesn’t know the story behind it.
- She felt like there was nothing for her to do on Smackdown, and getting moved was effectively the end of her time in the WWE.
- Talks up Bischoff as being ‘intelligent’, Foley as a ‘great guy’ and Finlay for effectively making the women’s division
- Talks about frustration with booking and lack of opportunities, mentioning the girls in 02-03 getting ’15, 20, 25 minute matches’ (LMAO) and that Melina, Michelle and Beth have proven they are good enough to get that same amount of time.
- Working house shows was a lot more fun, more time and no TV cameras enabled them to work the crowd much better.
- Disappointment at angles like her with Santino ending when it was popular and achieving ‘high ratings’.
- Mentions Mickie, then Melina, Beth and then later Michelle as being the best divas in the ring.
- Talks about Michelle being easy to work with and always let her ‘work’ against her, unlike ‘other girls’ who wouldn’t let her use a lot of moves against them (that’d be Melina, although she doesn’t mention her by name)
- Talks about wanting to turn heel, came up with the Matt Hardy angle…the girls pitching ideas to creative is very common as they are all frustrated with how they are used.
- Michelle is the ‘female Undertaker’ in the locker room when it comes to the wrestling side of things. She describes herself as a ‘mediator’ who others could come and talk to easily.
- Mentions her and Eve pitching to do a WWE.com talk show.
- Favourite segment with Santino was the dating segment, and having to retake segments because Santino was making everyone (including himself) laugh too much.”

She really doesn’t come across well to me. Bad vibes. This is a pretty baseless assumption, but to me she seems like one of those people who are like, ‘God, everyone is out to get me! This is my arrrrt!’. In reality she was untalented and only ever interesting when she was playing a ditz. Hey, at least she’s pretty.

To whoever mentioned the indies thing…I see your argument, but I think the problem is that the girls who go straight from modelling into the WWE aren’t really allowed to develop an individual style, whereas all of the other girls have been in a bunch of different promotions, which has allowed them develop and expand as wrestlers/entertainers. I mean, Melina was all about the WWE/heel style when she first started, but gradually she’s been able to incorporate the stuff she learnt early on with Hernandez etc into her moveset and matches.
OMGawd the backlash because of the fact she may or may have not got along with Melina. I understand she’s like the posterchild of Diva-Dirt and everyones favourite diva and everyone should love her because she’s the best (watevs), what she says she is TOTALLY different to how she actually is backstage with other women. I know there have been plenty who have praised her in the past, and I’m sure there is equal amounts of those who she rubbed the wrong her. To me it seems like she has one of those ‘tough love’ personalities where you either really love her or really hate her. Oh well, that’s how the world goes round lol
I’d love to see the full thing, I wonder if she goes into detail and actually name people, I hate when they touch on some controversy with other people and they never say who. Maybe they’re just being classy, but hell it’s a shoot interview ppl! Grr. Although, I cannot WAIT for Kelly Kelly’s shoot, OMG you might think she sucks but she must have seen and heard a lot of stuff…the thing is, she kinda strikes me as Torrie Wilson sweet and I somehow doubt she’d talk bad about other people but here’s hoping…she too has been praised by some, in particular Sandman (who went on to attack Ariel/Shelly Martinez) and as we know now, isn’t held to a high regard by others..
Yeah that’s all I was saying about Melina, and to clarify, I’m not sexist. I love women! They are great friends, but it has happened way too many times that a girlfriend of mine would HATE this other girl and I would be like, “But she’s so nice to me”. Women really do act differently around eachother than they do around men. Not all of them, but a lot of them do and that backstage stuff with Melina getting territorial about her men and having “meetings”, that’s something between the ladies that wouldn’t really affect a man’s feelings on Melina. The King always says it, all women secretly hate eachother! hehe

Come on people Maria is a nothing, she did nothing, was nothing and is nothing she can slag off who she wants no one is going to remember her in years to come. She was a little tool while she was there and an even bigger one now that she’s out . That woman is a total waste of time and energy.

I just looked at a wrestling “newz” site that gave a “recap” of the shoot interview and I cannot believe how this person who sent the report made up about 80% of it.
She did NOT “run down” Melina left and right, nor did she say that she is a whore or slept with 80% of the roster. She never said that she is sleeping with someone in power to keep her job or that Melina would trash Mickie in OVW. Whoever wrote this report is just itching for more Melina/Maria drama.
When she spoke about the Wellness Policy- she questioned why they are called independent contractors when they are not allowed to do outside projects not related to the company. She also questioned how WWE gets away with employing people for 200+ days a year with such strenuous work without any health benefits for the employees and if they do go to a doctor not employed by the company, the wrestler is responsible for the bill.
Never said anything about Cena being 100% clean.
HHH was never mentioned during the Punk conversation, nor did she say that HHH tried to hold Punk back.
Carmella and Maria did not have a physical fight.
Maria does not bash Michelle McCool at all. She praised Michelle the most and said that if anything, Michelle has to work harder because of who she is with. She never said that Michelle has an ego and she didn’t mention the Natalya/Michelle rumor.
