WWE Hall of Famer and new Raw GM, Bret Hart is known to be a big fan of Melina but there’s another Diva who he has grown appreciation for too — Vickie Guerrero.
Speaking on his appointment as Raw General Manager, Hart writes on his Facebook page:
As a note of interest, I’d like to say how proud I’ve been of Vicki Guerrero the last couple of years for doing the amazing job she’s done playing this role on Smackdown. I’m only learning it after one week that’s it’s a much more challenging role than people might realize and I can only hope to do as good of a job as she did.

couldnt agree more………..imo i think it was unfair that WWE made her one of the most hated people in WWE after her late husband was one of the best workers WWE ever had……………..
but she is excellent at playing heel….
Vickie Guerrero is a very good heel. And she does a fantastic job at her job. I think people should give her more credit.
its good to see Vickie Guerrero getting some praise. She is good at what she does & hard work pays off :) Also she is over with the crowd like mad, so ‘Excuse Her’ for being so good a what she does.
Haha, see? This is why we love Bret Hart! He has a REAL PASSION for the wrestling business, and he’s shown many times he ‘somewhat’ follows women’s wrestling.
This is so great to hear, and mch deserved on Vickie’s part. The women is fantastic, and no one gives her enough credit. She draws more heat than even the ‘top’ guys in the company! Now that’s a feat.
We all remember the uproar about his comments on Melina, but if there’s an uproar over Vickie then there’s gonna’ be a real problem…
Very cool! Always nice to hear a top guy praise the women, and Vickie especially deserves it. She works her butt off to be an effective heel.

although, truth be told, his comments do make me a bit more upset that vickie isn’t the permanent raw gm instead of bret :( lol
Awesome! Love seeing someone of Bret’s stature commending the work that Vickie has done. She’s come a long way and become one of the WWE’s most interesting and fun characters. Eddy would be so proud.

of Bret Hart.
I really enjoy watching Vickie, she plays her role well. Good to hear Bret thinks so too. Vickie could help turning Divas face with her extreme crowd heat she always gets.
Vickie knows how to work that gimmick to perfection. She knows how to irk the crowd and is just awesome at it. The heat she gets is just remarkable.
Vickie is not a wrestler, but she is, in my opinion the best choice that WWE made in this last years. She’s just freaking amazing.
Vickie has been treated unkindly by the IWC. Its heart warming that someone of Brets calaber would say such great things about her.
Vickey is one of the best heels of all time & eddie must be smiling from heaven…
