Former WWE Diva, Katie Lea has been added to the annual World Wrestling Council anniversary show which will take place on Sunday, July 11th. Katie, who was released along with Mickie James in April, will be competing on the show says the company on its official website.

Former WWE Diva Katie Lea Burchill will see action in the wrestling event most important of all WWC Anniversary 2010.
Anniversary 2010, dedicated to the memory of Don Pedro ‘Hurricane’ Castle, will take place from Friday 9 July at the Luis T. Diaz Coliseum in Aguadilla on Saturday 10 at the Coliseum Salvador Dijols of La Playa de Ponce and Sunday July 11 at 4:00 pm at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon.
The tickets are available at supermarkets Mr.Special (west area), Savings & Furniture Shops Val-key throughout the island.

Wasn’t she going to be writing a column?
Its good that she is back on the indy curcuit. TNA would have probably accepted her without hesitation had she approached them. Its great that she is starting over, building herself from the ground up, instead of going straight to TNA and being stuck with the WWE Reject tag like most TNA employees.

Me too! I would really love to see her in TNA. She was my favorite Diva in the WWE and I really hope that they are just waiting to try and sign her. But it is good to see that she is still wrestling and not giving it up!! I wish her all the luck!
