This Monday’s 3-hour Raw is billed as a “viewer’s choice” show, with the fans determining what happens based on who and what they want to see. The extent of the viewers’ actual power is likely small, but it presents an opportunity for Diva fans to tell the WWE what they want to see. Of course, Melanie and Erin have a few ideas of their own–read through them and vote for the one you’d vote for this Monday night:
Melanie’s Ideas
Viewer’s Vote for #1 Contender — We all have our favourites and we all want to see our favourite in a title feud or get a title shot. My idea would be to allow the so-called WWE ‘Univese’ to vote for which Diva faces Eve Torres later in the night for the Divas Championship. And I’m not talking about a rigged vote either. I’m talking about a legit vote as they did with the Diva of the Year last year and as they’ve done in the Halloween costume contests over the years. This could be a way to really put the power in the fans’ hands: Will they choose the obvious favourite, Gail Kim? Or will the WWE Universe swerve us and go with Maryse? Regardless of whether or not she’s a heel, Maryse is incredibly popular amongst the fans at home who would vote via WWE.com. If it’s a real, legit vote, I think the result could be extremely surprising. With no Melina, Mickie James, Kelly Kelly or Maria, there’s no clear cut most popular Diva on Raw. It’d be really telling of how the fans think to see the winner of the poll become the #1 Contender and face Eve on Raw. I think the result would be shocking… I’m not convinced that Gail would win it, despite being the obvious ‘babyface choice’. The competition would be wide open to all of the Raw Divas, which would make the result that much more exciting. Could you imagine Brie Bella winning and challenging Eve? The shock value would make Monday’s Raw extremely buzz-worthy.
Lay or Cool? — Option number two for me is the fans voting which of the co-Women’s Champions compete in a champion vs champion match against Raw’s Divas Champion, Eve Torres. We know that SmackDown will be part of the big three-hour Raw and Lay-Cool always seem to pop up whenever we have one of these interpromotional events. Will the fans vote for Layla vs Eve or Michelle vs Eve? Like the first option, the vote really could go either way.
Raw vs SmackDown –Putting the power in the fans’ hands, the WWE Universe could decide which Raw Diva faces off against which SmackDown Diva in an interpromotional match. You could even have all the other Divas at ringside, lumberjack-style. Continuing my trend, there’s no clear cut winner for each side because the usual top dogs [Melina, Mickie, Beth etc.] aren’t around. Who would get the vote for Raw and who would get the vote for SmackDown? It’d probably come down to popularity which means we’d likely see Kelly Kelly in action for SmackDown, but which Raw Diva will the fans vote for?

Battle Royal for Title Shot — I’ll give credit where credit’s due; Cryssi had this idea on last Monday’s Post-Raw Show, and I liked it so much that I decided to put my own spin on it here. I’d like to see, near the beginning of the show, a battle royal featuring Divas from both Raw and Smackdown. In a perfect world, this battle royal would be given a generous amount of time and would feature at most 5 Divas. The choice of Divas would address current feuds while giving deserving, underutilized Divas a shot at the spotlight–Maryse (addressing her feud with Eve), Gail Kim, Natalya, Kelly Kelly (addressing her budding feud with Laycool), and Alicia Fox. Now, the winner would get to face the champ of her choosing — it being a Supershow gives both brands equal footing and thus gives Divas a chance to reach across the brand lines.
So, if say Gail were to win, she could choose to take on Michelle McCool and Layla. Gail wrestling co-champions would in itself be interesting, but it would be a unique opportunity to see Divas who don’t often get to interact face off in a high-stakes situation. By the end of the night, the brand lines could be shaken, and that is something many 
people feel needs to happen with the Divas. It would be a creative and exciting way to pull off some switcheroos without going through the process of an impromptu Diva Draft.
Lay-Cool At Odds — Fans aren’t fond of Lay-Cool’s catty ways, that’s for sure. One thing I think the general audience would make happen if they could would be to force these two to face each other and determine a true Women’s Champion. The audience, having seen them terrorize Mickie, Beth, and now Kelly would love to see them take their own Mean Girls tendencies out on each other. Michelle might think, in her arrogance, that Layla would lay down for her but Layla, in her own arrogance, could refuse to do so. Hidden tension is then manifested, and a real match commences.
I think it’s still a little too early to bring an end to Lay-Cool or this co-champ storyline, but it would be interesting to see them forced into a situation where they have no choice but to put aside the sisterly bond and show who really is the alpha dog. Things could resume as normal afterwards, and I’m sure they’d find some loophole that would maintain their co-champion bond, but for the night, that would make for quite an interesting bout.
Champion vs. Champions — WWE loves to pit champ vs. champ, and in a situation as unique as this, it might be too tempting for the fans to resist. Eve is the lone Divas Champion while Lay-Cool co-hold the Women’s Championship. The fans would probably not vote for the babyface to take on two heels, but it really does utilize both brands in a way that could advance two potential feuds, so I’d be all for it. Maryse could be present to take advantage of Eve’s disadvantage and thus reignite a little fire in their fizzling feud, and Michelle and Layla might find themselves at odds when one or the other wants to claim the win.
It also gives Eve a little more babyface sympathy from the fans in being double-teamed by the nefarious Lay-Cool while giving the Womens Champions heat in relishing the chance to double-team the “goody-two-shoes” fan favorite.

Instead Of A Battle Royal I Would Prefer A Golden Dreams Match, They Last Longer , Divas Knock Each Other Off The Top Rope,etc, WInner Gets A Title Shot Of There Choosing and Since Maryse/Eve Feud Is Going On, Alicia Maybe Going Face, Lay-cool need real compition, smackdown needs a top face. If A Fox Could Shock The Universe Goinq For The Womens Belt, Then She Can Go To SD Turn Face and Become Womens Champion, Its A Perfect Position For Her. But Either Way I Want A Golden Dreams Match, Favorite Type Of Match For The Divas That WWE Actually Would Put On TV Not Liek Cages,TLC,etc.
I agree with a battle royal with all the Divas and the winner faces a champion. Then Eve Torres and Lay-Cool are at ringside, then the winner of the battle royal is Maryse. But then Victoria comes and throws her out. Then Victoria challenges Lay-Cool and they have a match at an upcoming paperview.

I think you guys dream big… as much as I would like to choose the number 1 contender or a sweet battle royal, I am sure wwe would do something stupid like swimsuit tagteam or something in that sense. But storyline wise I think having a battle royal would be the best thing… If a raw diva wins and challenges lay or cool for the title and win, they can finally fill in the gap on smackdown. That would be a smart thing to do I guess… Now if there was a battle royal, fans will definalty choose something like bikini or costume etc etc… I wouldn’t hold my breath for something breathtaking from wwe

We’ve been running this site long enough to realise it probably won’t happen nor did we in any way suggest it is likely to happen, we don’t need you to tell us that it won’t. The title ‘Armchair Creative Team’ is pretty self explanatory. It’s hypothetical.
I’d like either that Champion vs. Champion idea or the Battle Royal for #1 Contendership idea.
I woudnt mind seeing a battle royal wwith the winner facing a champ of their choosing. And with the top Melina , Mickie & Beth gone it would be nice to see what face would win…( b cuz we all know Faces win , these kinda events)

I remember reading a while ago that when Maryse came back, last November, she was going to be face. Obviously that didn’t happen because of Melina holding the title. Love her or hate her none of the other divas can get a reaction like Maryse. (Save for Melina, Mickie, etc. Who weren’t on Raw) Now, Melina is due back soon, and it might be interesting to turn her heel. While, flopping Maryse over to Smackdown and joining Kelly against Lay-Cool. Maryse and Kelly make sense as a team and it would be REALLY interesting to see Maryse as a face. Plus, she is starting to wrestle again and has had some pretty good matches with McCool.
Or, they could go a more typical way and have Maryse get the title off of Eve. Enter Melina and those to can fight over it. When they did the champion vs champion angle last year they had a pretty decent match on Raw with Maryse getting the win.

No, Victoria isn’t under any kind of no compete as she was not given an early release from TNA. Her TNA contract expired, and she didn’t sign a new one. She is free to do whatever she wants right now.
Awesome Kong is a different story as she was given an early release by TNA from a contract that still had plenty of time left on it, so she is under a no-compete clause.
All of those ideas are do-able. Lay-Cool has been booked for the show because it says so online plus it’s in Layla’s hometown Miami. The battle royal is do-able and the champion v champion matches.
i would have like to see michelle or layla with the divas championship so that way we would have this co womens champion ships nonsense even though i love them both. eve is boring to me so hopefully something changes monday
I think the best thing for WWE to do would be to have a battle royal with the winner choosing which title to go after and using that as the out to get either Gail or Alicia over to SD!
Personally, I would like Alicia to go back to Team Blue not only because of her history with Michelle, but because Gail still might need to be on Raw to help Eve, the Bellas, and Maryse improve in the ring and Miss Fierce is a more charismatic providing a great foil for Michelle.
I was thinking maybe instead of a Diva’s Battle Royal (which we’ve seen like a billion times) how about a diva’s ROYAL RUMBLE? Maybe about 10 diva’s come every 50 seconds or so. The winner chooses the champion of her choice. If she picks the Women’s Title, she gets to choose either Layla or Michelle.
Fans voting for #1 Contender got my vote, as long as it was a legit vote by fans and not rigged in any fashion. Given that it’s a 3 hour Raw, surely we could get at least two women’s matches… (I know, I dream big. ;)

Well, when i was on wwe universe most of the fans went out of the box and started saying they wanted cage matches,ladder matches with random divas. i saw one said maryse vs brie in a hardcore match like that would ever happen, glad i didnt see anything pathetic like swimsuit,dance off’s,etc. So there is a likely chance we’ll see a stupid match, but who knows. but the battle royal has my vote.
As much as I’d like to see exciting matches such as potential Ladder matches etc used in WWE’s description of what Viewer’s Choice would be, I don’t think we’ll see anything of the sort. And with a show to plan and with WWE still not revealing how you can vote, it’s obvious the matches will have been planned ahead of time, so we unfortunetly won’t be seeing Gail vs Alicia in a Ladder match or anything of the sort.
I would however love to see Natalya vs Tamina in a No-DQ match or something of the sort to hype the upcoming Tag Team Title match we can expect to see soon between The Usos and The Hart Dynasty.
I’d also like to see a 6 Diva Elimination Tag Match pitting Eve, Kelly and Tiffany against Lay-cool and Maryse. This match would help both fueds and we could also see some interesting eliminations.
In terms of the ideas brought up by Erin and Melanie, I voted for a Battle Royal. As long as it is booked ok, I think it could be great.
I’m up for the whole battle royal, it would be good to see heels take on heels and faces take on faces to grab an opportunity to face the Champion! Alliances may be broken in order to get to the top.. (eg. Bella Twins, Kelly & Tiffany) In essence it should be a god night if the WWE fans are smart enough to choose something like that, then again it may be another Eve & Partner vs Maryse & Partner :/
No offense Erin, but even though you’re battle royal idea is quite good, WWE’s female battle royals suck. We’ve seen it tons of times. Its just a bunch of finishers and stupid eliminations.
It’s viewers’ choice tonight.. So, it will be easier to make a list of the divas the general crowds would want to see:
- Kelly
- Maryse (maybe)
Yeah, it will be rigged because Michelle and Layla will have to make appearance by default. Seriously, why are they still pushing these two as the top diva and her lackey if the fans don’t give a dang. They don’t even get the “hot chick” response. =/

I think it should be a dual branded tag team match. Lay-Cool vs Eve Torres and a mystery partner. Gail Kim volunteers and Eve is being Isolated. Eve hits Layla with a neckbreacker and looks for the hot tag. However Gail just slaps Eve allowing Layla to sneak in her neckbreacker. However Michelle tags herself in and steals the pin.
That could be the start of 2 feuds. Layla turning face maybe?

i dont want a gail/eve feud because gail is the kind of diva who loves to jump everywhere and smile all the time, so alicia/eve feud is something i am very interested in, layla/michelle feud is also a good feud but they are against kelly/tiffany right now.
Gail deserves the Divas Championship, once she holds it, she can either carry on in WWE and go for the prestigious WWE Women’s Championship again, or she can leave WWE and do whatever she pleases.
Gail Kim DESERVES to go down in history as the ONLY and First woman to hold the Women’s, Divas and Knockouts Championships!

@Gail Kim #1 Gail Kim, this, that, bla bla bla. Honestly give it a rest, WWE obviously doesn’t want to push her for w/e reason and you constantly coming on here blabbing on about her like if she was gods gift to womens wrestlings doesn’t help matters, just annoys people.
Personally tonight, I would like to see some sort of T&A segment, would be very refreshing and could give the girls who are always working take a breather.
