Eh I didn’t care for it until she got to the chorus.

It’s not terrible, but at times it’s quite painful.

I like it! The only problem is that the bass and guitar were too quiet through most of the song. It kind of messed up the flow because there was nothing to keep the song going when she wasn’t singing.
Honestly, though, I’m too much of a mark for Mickie to be unbiased about anything she does. LOL

That video was a way NOT to open a video package, god the album cover is totally horrible. Why even show that when you can’t buy the thing on CD? And why hasn’t anyone told her it’s atrocious lol.
Thought the song was pretty poor too, which is a shame. And at the start her voice sounded really bad. Mickie, Smackdown! needs you, forget this music thing or let WWE buy into it and get back to what your good at.

@shannymac I feel the exact same way. I couldn’t even here them! But Mickie’s got a great voice, so I don’t mind it that much ;)

I’m not calling it amazing, but her voice sounds a lot better here in comparison to what I heard on the album. And hey, she looks gorgeous.

I agree with those that said it was hard to hear the bass and guitar. It would have helped so much if we could hear them too.
Her voice isn’t too bad, but it just hasn’t grown on me yet =/

Well that was….not so good. I understand Mickie wants to try something new and sing, but when you compare her to the country artist already out there, it just isn’t good enough.

I’m glad she’s getting so much exposure but I avoid anything to do with Fox News. Hope she gets some interviews and spots on other networks.

I love Mickie; she is great when she gets to the powerful parts, and I just love seeing her doing something she’s passionate about (whether it’s wrestling, country music, etc…)
I respect any artist that doesn’t lip sync— and I agree; PLEASE come back to wrestling asap. We miss seeing you on tele every week!

She was very flat, painful. I couldn’t listen to the whole thing, sorry Mickie but singing is not for you, but wrestling is.

You’re right shannymac, the bass & guitar were too quiet during the song. I think that they weren’t plugged into sound system. I think that the song would have sounded even better with drums and second guitar. I thought Mickie did a great job with the interviews and the performances. I don’t think it’s to try and compare Mickie to Country music artist like Shania Twain. Some of you guys have to remember that before Mickie did this album she had never sang professionally. I think Mickie did a great job with her album and more importantly; she seems to be enjoying herself singing. Jack5326, you can but Mickie’s album on CD at countryshowcase.com. I don’t understand why they never put a super up telling fans where they could buy her album. Mickie look hot performing on stage too.
