About Maryse…I saw that coming a long time ago…I tought that Ryse and Ted had to be matched,like Edge and Lita…Now,we’ll see if this potential is gonna be fully used…

Pretty much anytime she’s in a segment with several Divas. Even if she’s standing on the apron and not wrestling during a tag match, she is still trying to get everyone to watch HER and ignore everyone else.

Luckily for her, her character itself is a built-in excuse to pull that selfish crap without getting in trouble for it.

Playing a character is one thing. Undermining your co-workers and making their jobs more difficult is another.

and the mix tag match i felt that alicia and eve had good ring time with eachother

The crowd were getting into the Nattie and Tamina match
before the NXT guys came along. lol..I guess Natalya
probably won’t get her chance in wwe like she should. The
fact is she have to carried Tamina into a decent match. Tamina
is a beautiful gurl but her wrestling isn’t on point. I think a lot
of people are overhyped her just because she have
a different look and the fact shes wrestling Natalya.

If they were going to do a mixed tag team match with
Primo why not put Yoshi in it as well? I have to
say that Torres didn’t botch anything and were on
point during the whole match. Alicia is a better
wrestler than Maryse so Torres can keep up with Alicia than
she do with Maryse. I hope next week Torres get her
rematch she loose and than a Gail and Alicia feud
can begins.

Ted doesn’t need Maryse to speak for him and I’m sure her and Ted are working on ways to make this thing work, apparently all the FCW crew that came up around the same time are pretty tight… they do talk. Plus she HAS valeted for him before. She might even be a bit like Lita, where the crowd’s issues with her translate into even more heat or whatnot for him.

Ted needs to get back to going after a singles title like NOW.

Alicia and Eve… meh… Eve needs to do her rematch and let Gail take over, although I’m dying to see another Maryse/Alicia confrontation.

Is it sad that Maryse is out of the division and she still manages to grab more attention than the division itself? Nattie and Tamina are a close second… give them a match at Money in the Bank please.

Being an attention hog at all times, even when it gets to the point of being unfair to her co-workers, is her fault.

Tamina and Natalya…I forgot to mention them last night simply because that was like the stupidest thing ever. I was excited to see them, as was everyone else, and we got screwed. Not really much else to say but I really hope they get a match next week that isnt bull crap.

Alicia and Eve. Oh, IDK what to say. I bet if you punched Eve in the face and insulted her she’d still smile. I was really hoping to see some substance in this match but yeah, no. They were paired with like the 2 least cared about “superstars” and almost nothing was built up between the 2. Eve did MUCH better wrestling-wise though. IDK what happened between last week and this week but she stepped up in that since. I just, ugh. Eve irritates me. It’s like she didn’t even care she lost Sunday. I think Natalya, Tamina, and Maryse are gonna get more attention and they aren’t even in the title hunt or champion and that is kinda sad…

Onto Natalya & Tamina. It is what it is. We were screwed out of a good match but it makes us want to see it more. Plus, Tamina is a bit green & I don’t want our expectations placed too high on a match that might not deliver.

Now, The Divas Title. It seemed as though this got the biggest shaft of the night! Why is it that WWE does nothing to try to spice up a title feud? The main focal point for the RAW divas seems to be getting the least attention. I guess it’s kind of a good thing Natalya, Tamina & Maryse aren’t involved in a title feud because I think they are getting more attention & a better rub without fighting for the butterfly.

eve wrestling skill is improving very well… but her charisma/persona is beyond generic she reminded me alot of mccool. dry as sahara dessert.

Maryse doesn’t have to be feuding with someone to overshadow DiBiase. She constantly tries to make herself the star of the segment even when the focus is supposed to be on someone else. As a manager, the focus is now going to always need to be on someone else: DiBiase.

If DiBiase ends up struggling to get the crowd’s attention on his match because Maryse is on the floor flipping her hair and making her silly faces, she will be a horrible, counterproductive manager.

I noticed that too. She hit Eve pretty hard. I thought she had seriously hurt her for a second there. Maybe they were chanting cause they were just being random aholes? First the MSG “boring” chants at Maryse and now this? Lol. I will say this, Eve was wrestling her butt off. I think I was too harsh when I first reviewed it. Though they were shaky in there((really Oz what doyyaa expect?!)), I can’t deny they were putting in effort.

Eve should think of a more distinct way to make her entrance. Its something small but could make a significant difference for her as a character. Sort of like Maryse with her hair flip and her hand gestures. She set herself apart. Melina has the best and most dramatic entrance of the bunch. Even Candice did her own thing. All Eve seems to do is point and skip merrily to the ring as if she’s about to do a dance off contest. She needs to do something that sets her apart and gets her noticed. Otherwise she’s just another generic Diva.

Thanks for bringing that up. Her stint with Deuce and Domino is exactly the kind of thing I meant when I said she could easily end up overshadowing DiBiase. She didn’t do a thing to help Deuce and Domino get over. The only person who won in that whole deal was her.

I don’t think Maryse being a manager is as bad as everyone is making it out to be. She’s managed before and it’s cool to see her in her old roots again. Everyone gets out of the title picture for awhile, it’s Maryse’s time now. But, I do agree it feels like they’re dumbing her character down. Maybe it’s just because she didn’t get to speak as much. Eh, i don’t know. I’m still for this duo and support this change for Maryse. It’s still early and could still lead to anything, don’t make such early assumptions. None of us even know if or if not Maryse is going to be wrestling.next week, etc. It’s still early.

As for the Divas match, ehh. I don’t know. I only got a rise out of Eve’s moonsault, which connected so well I thought I was watching an edited SD match for a second, and when Eve went to hug Khali and he practically denied her. Alicia also is playing a good heel. But, I still think they’ve should’ve continued the Eve/Maryse feud. Some may say it was “bland” but when they start a new feud every month, it forces fans to care about a new feud with no history – then once they build up some history (ie, Maryse/Eve) they begin a new feud. Idk, just my opinion on the situation. :/

Also, finally, Maryse in a capacity to which she is best suited! :) Hopefully she can support him well and he can do well for himself. Hot body but I really hate his hair. : /

I hope she watches some tapes of Sensational Sherri with Ted SR and takes notes.

I don’t know what WWE is trying to achieve from that tag match, like are they prioritising their men over the Divas by putting them in such a random combo, plus did anyone care about that feud when it was on Superstars? Either that or WWE just don’t have anything for its Divas, I agree with you, Gail should at least have a shot now, but then this is an expected feud with the rematch clause in tact.

I don’t think I can say anything about Tamina and Natalya without echoing it, there were so many other matches that could’ve covered the same ground, it just seemed like WWE has already lost faith in this feud and the fact Jimmy, Jey and Tamina just ran and didn’t acknowledge Nexxus really pushes them down, they could’ve at least A) Helped out or B) Shown some sign of respect for taking out the Hart Dynasty. Again though, there are positives, the fact it was interrupted and DQ’ed means that it waters out the feud, so it doesn’t burn as quickly as it has done, for a green star, Tamina is impressive, I love her presence and the fact that she is using the moves not just from the Snuka family but from the Usos heritage too (Anoi’a, Fifita, Fatu etc.) she comes across as a believable opponent and one of the things I like about her is that she really could be the rival of Natalya, with both having such similiar backgrounds, she reminds me of Natalya as a heel, when I use to really like her, before they moulded her into Trish 2.0 and valet.

And as I’ve said, this Maryse-DiBiase pairing is a potential disaster for DIBiase just waiting to happen. If Maryse doesn’t seriously tone down all of her relentless efforts to get attention for herself, she will completely overshadow him.

I guess the Eve/Alicia feud is just like the Co-champions storyline as it is only to be used as filler. They are just stalling and waiting for Beth and Melina to come back so they can do the storyline/feuds they want. Well, at least Beth is making great process-five more months to go.

I absolutely love Maryse and Ted Dibiase together. Maryse is not the best in the ring, but she has alot of charisma and personality. She can really help Ted get over with the crowd since he is totally lacking in crowd reaction. I wish they would do the same with Velvet Sky because she is just like Maryse. She could help someone in Tna who is lacking in crowd reaction get him over with them.

the tag match was ok, Eve did a few awkward things on the turnbuckle before going for the moonsault, i don’t know what she was planning but she climbed the turnbuckle, looked at Alicia, got down and then turned around and climbed it again

Good points though: Nattie’s wrestling again, yay! Our first look at Tamina in a Raw wrestling match, yay! And Maryse channeling her awesome heel presence into managing, yay!

as usual, tamina was real impressive for tamina. she feels really new to me and not because.. she is but new as in i can’t remember seeing a diva before her with her certain style.
