Well, I have been looking forward to this match for a while now. I have to say, people are very judgmental of Kelly and the push she is receiving. I mean come on people, have you seen the match yet? Has Kelly won the title yet? Is there a title match set yet? I mean everyone goes and freaks out and acts like Kelly winning the title is “the titanic”.
I mean give Kelly a break, Candice and Kelly are closely similar, and look, Candice won the title, did the world collapse, did WWE fall apart, no? That’s what I thought. I mean I don’t mean to sound cocky or anyhting like that, I just personally think that people get way to caught up in the worst case scenario, when they haven’t witnessed it yet.
This could be a great match, could be a bad match, Do you guys honestly think they are gonna push someone that sucks? That’s why they keep doing Layla vs Kelly, it helps Kelly and Layla improve.
Just give her a chance and stop judging so early; Don’t mean to sound rude, but you guys never give anyone an opportunity just like Eve.
@Felipe i respect your opion but theres a few thing i need to say 1. TORRIE WILSON was suppossed to be the first ever DIVAS CHAMP but she had back problems and had to retire. 2. while i will agree that when she was on RAW that she did her certain moves but since coming to SD! in her last 2 or 3 matches she hasnt used her certain moves(even though her last one was a kick and a K2). and 3. EVE still sucks(just my opion)

And I like how the SES story sounds & I’m curious about what will happen with Serena & the SES(esp. with Punk’s injury), hopefully she starts wrestling instead of just doing nothing for a while.

Well kelly is #1 contender so there is a championship match but dont know when it will happen.
Kelly and Candice are 2 different people, kelly is very boring same moves every time, been in the company for 5 years and still hasnt debuted a new finisher unlike candice who had at least 2 finishers and always had different move-sets. Kelly on the other hand always uses the same moves over and over, watch all of her SD matches she uses every single move, that is just BORING. Imagine her with the womens belt that would be awful. I use to be a fan of kelly kelly but now i dis-like her because she needs new moves.
I agree with you on that, Candice had the same thing as well. I remember she did almost the exact same moves and Kelly has two ways to do her finisher.
I feel like that if Kelly got a chance to get a match that wasn’t 2 minutes, we could get something out of her.
@KELLYKELLY first of all I like that you respect everyones opinion, it can’t be easy seeing everyone criticize your favorite wrestler. Hell, it’s not even that she is a bad wrestler, but she just seems too comfortable where she is at when she can do much more. I’ll try to be more positive just in case she wins the title, but if she does win the title and has a horrible reign (ex:Eve), then i’ll rub it in your face, lol.

@Felipe thanks yeah it is hard but i dont care let them think what they want because least she gets a crowd reaction and thats more than they can say about there fav. i do agree that she can do much more but i dont think its all her fault you have to blame creative for that to so i think if they gave her a match longer than 2 or 3 min. she could do. thanks for trying to be more positive and lol i wouldnt blame you because i would feel bad if she did

When I saw these spoilers my first reaction was “holy crap” Kelly beating Michelle is something I never expected. Kelly being women’s champion doesn’t seem right to me. But the truth of the matter is, with Beth gone, Kelly is the top face on Smackdown, if they don’t push her a bit there is no feud. I hope they don’t pull the trigger and give Kelly the title. She’s not ready yet, though she has been slowly improving, we haven’t seen Kelly Khoreography in ages (tilt-a-whirl, headscissors etc) She’s trying.
I hope to see this result in Serena flipping to face and feuding with Laycool.. though I’m not hopeful they have in no way hinted her as a wrestler so her past does not exist on WWE TV.

DING! Exactly. That’s my point. Griping about her winning the women’s title instead of the diva’s title isn’t going to make much of a difference because she will still be making history! YAY! Lol. I’m not really that enthusiastic about a Kelly title win BTW. :D
As was said, they have no choice with Beth out and it’s certainly arguable that “K2″ has earned a shot at it. She’s been clearly one of the faces of the Divas in media and such, for years now, and with the SmackDown draft move and the (relative) rise of a few names over on RAW, it was/is a now or never thing. It is interesting, though, to see the burgeoning face-ness of Laycool crossing the streams a bit, competing chants & signs etc. It’s not out of the question the way they’re rolling with it lately… getting more polished and, rightfully so, funnier. For me that would tend to undermine a title run with Kelly.. so it will be interesting to see how they work this. Now that is, If they’re doing much more than stalling for Beth and re-starting the angle they had going.
Well, they certainly do have Summerslam to think about. I’m sure SD! would love to payoff their Divas on a Major show, especially for the solid on NXT (backed up by the vote). RAW too has the most amazingly athletic…incredible heel mannerisms…most exciting Diva in generations… practically Lita Mae Stratus crossed with Medusa Richter-Moolah… Alicia Fox the Wedding Planner. To me it’s anyone’s guess what Women’s match will make it on the card and if it will have a decent buildup.

Oh I know that, she was probably smiling on camera, but she couldn’t have been happy with her real life husband being deported.
I thought Drew was still in the country (he is married to an American citizen which gives him the right to stay in the country), he just couldn’t work. Wade got deported.
@Felipe- How is Stephanie McMahon one of the worst divas ever? She was one of the company’s top heels from late 1999 to early 2003. The ENTIRE company, not just one division. Literally ALL roads during that time led to Stephanie. Her title reign was not great for wrestling, but she gave the Women’s title the most exposure it has ever had up til that time.
BTW: WWE has stated more than once that they consider the Diva’s Title to be comparable and equal to the Women’s title. They even said it when they created the thing. Too bad it still looks like something for a 5 year old but whatever.
Kelly vs Michelle–not expecting much. Michelle tends to be booked uber-strong and Kelly isn’t Beth/Melina/Mickie so Michelle won’t look stupidly weak to her.
PS: WWE constantly reminds fans that Kelly was a gymnast. How come she lands her flips and such so awkwardly? Did she compete and win anything or just take a few classes for cheerleading?
Least Kelly only won with a roll-up and right now, any fued is good so I’m glad it’s progressed. Let’s just hope Kelly doesn’t get the belt *fingers crossed*.
The S.E.S storyline is pretty exciting and it builds up the ‘Who Attacked The Undertaker?’ very well and suprisingly here, it gives Serena some spotlight. I am really interested to see the segment, I’m guessing Serena broke her Straight Edge Pledge which is why they left her alone, and I’d like to see her wrestle a lot more now, maybe to prove she is right for the S.E.S.
KELLY doesnt deserve the title shes just awful she screams all the time & half sells moves & as soon as her match starts the crowd dies since she cant hit her moves right…
i dont know how anyone or vince would want her as champion its just the worst decision they could make….

I don’t want the Womens Championship on Kelly Kelly either. Even from a casual fan prespective, I wouldn’t buy that shit. She seems like a young teenage girl taking on full grown women. Sure stranger things have happened, but id rather see her improve for another good year before she becomes anykind of champion. Not saying she won’t ever be believeable as Champion but..it would be like watching Eve’s own horrible reign again. Anyway again, I’m certain that our next Women’s Champion will be “The Barracuda” Melina. Kelly can wait another year if she’s not released. A Melina/LayCool feud is just what the doctor ordered. Besides, that’s going to be a feud I can get behind. Because unlike Mickie James and Maria, Melina seems just as stuck up as McCool and Layla, so it’ll be right up her alley to throw catty insults at each other. ;)
They should’ve used Serena as a wrestler while she was in SES, she would’ve gotten maxium heel heat and possible have become the best heel diva since Melina’s heel era. I’m afraid it’s too late now for Serena. If she starts wrestling without the SES she has to start over from scratch, and since divas dont get the airtime to develop a character she will just be a random diva like so many others.
But I hope i’m wrong and that she will still be somewhat involved with the SES storyline. Who knows…maybe SES will get a new diva member and Serena could feud with that person.
i gotta bad feeling that serena will leave the ses only to get released that will be the worst mistake ever since mickie’s release.SD IS BECOMING THE B- SHOW COMPARE TO RAW AND TNA .specking of tna is their KO action on the scond week.
All the uproar of K2′s push is ridiculous, while she may not be the best performer in the ring, there’s no denying she has the “It” factor in spades, besides other than Tiffany who the hell else are they going to push, as a credible face challenger, No one in FCW is realistically ready to challenge for the top spot even if they were to be called up, While a Serena face turn would work, I’d prefer it to happen slowly, just to throw her into the title hunt for no damn reason would hurt her credibility and the credibility of a depleted Divas group on SD that has done awesome with so little available to them. SD as a whole has always done a great job with less, whenever the top talent gets taken or lost to injury, SD steps it up, while Raw flounders, even with a full roster.

Anywho, I am surprised so many people are more focus on hatin’ on Kelly as oppose to being utterly shocked that Michelle actually got PINNED. She NEVER gets pinned in non-title matches. Heck, she barely gets pinned in general.
i don’t get why everyone is hating on Kelly, it’s not like any of you can wrestle.. that girl has been with WWE for 4 years & has never got a push so why is everyone saying it’s too early for her? i mean Maryse got a title run in her first year in WWE (yes i know she was in FCW in 2007, that’s why i said WWE) & she sucks

@xAzureSkye first off all I have no formal training but I KNOW I can wrestle better than Kelly Kelly if a non wrestling fan saw her in the ring they would think she is still a rookie and Kelly Kelly has received multiple pushes remember on Raw all she did was win. And she was even a contender for the divas title.
But I do agree maryse does suck but her charisma and her hotness make up for it.
@ ebmich Well Michelle Mccool isn’t really champion so I don’t consider it a non title match and i heard it was a roll up because no one can buy kelly kelly beating michelle mccool i can’t even buy her beating rosa mendes she that awful.
I believe Laycool will ultimately win this fued then they would start to fued with a face serena like Kalendria said they would start to make fun of her because she is bald and then will would fued and maybe by then someone with credibility will step up and fued with laycool or maybe a laycool break up.

Anyway for the last time, I’m not HATING on anyone here. I even learned to appreciate Madison Rayne in TNA. Someone I honestly couldn’t stand for a long while. Nothing personal ofcourse, but she just wasn’t doing very well in the ring imho. But now she’s stepped it up character-wise and is loads more intense in the ring, and it works very well for her. So good for her. Kelly is pretty but I have to disagree Andre, I don’t think she’s got the “IT” factor.
I’m not sure exactly how to define that, but I see Maryse and Tiffany having that “It” factor that many talk about. Tiffany should capatalize on the chances she’s given before she becomes an afterthought and sinks into oblivion like many divas before her. Right now, with the 4 minutes they’re given even the small things count. Like over the top mannerisms and such. The little things that make people look. Both Lita and Trish were the best at doing that. I’m talking about when Trish would be looking at her opponents and have her sexy face on, flip her her..things like that. Lita would do the same, she’d move around like a cat all sensual..lol sounds funny but I think it counts.
So….Kelly should improve atleast a little more before winning any of the two Womens Titles, just my opinion.

Diva Dirt has posted news of Tracy Brooks, Tiffany and Christy Hemme getting married and Candice Michelle and Jackie Haas having babies. What makes Michelle and Undertaker different… unless *gasp* their backstage powers reach work through internet all the way to Dirt Dirt!!!
The only thing the site refused to post about was the scandal of Tracy’s just turned husband Kaz having an affair with a pornstar, which I understand.

I was wondering, if Kelly does win the Title((Which she shouldn’t but let’s pretend she does)), would she be the youngest Champion ever? Womens Champion that is? Stacy Keibler could have been a young champ back in 2001.
I think I would have given the Womens Championship to Stacy Keibler back in 2001 as part of the Invasion Angle. As soon as Chyna was off TV, atleast a month later they should have done a battle royal with Ivory, Lita, Jacqueline, Molly Holly, Trish Stratus, Terri Runnels and maybe Debra to crown a new Champion. I would have had Molly Holly pinning Trish with her Molly go round at the end. This would have happened maybe at King of The Ring. Then before the Invasion PPV have Molly in a match against Stacy Keibler with Spike Dudley and Shane at ringside. As Molly has the upper hand chaos errupts with interferance from WCW/ECW and WWE wrestlers alike. In the midst of this Rhyno jumps into the ring and GORES Molly! Stacy pins her to become the youngest Womens Champion ever!!

@Felipe OH NO YOU DIDN’T! Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley is one of the best divas EVER! she held the womens championship with grace and pride and she brought honour and prestige, she made that title worth something again. I think she was the best worker, willing to take all manner of bumps and mix it up with the men, we watched her grow in the ring and no-one can cut a promo like her! She also drew the biggest heat, she was hated about as much as The Rock was loved! And that’s my news!!! XD

No, if Kelly wins she wouldn’t be the youngest Womens Champ, Wendi Richter was only 22 when she won her 1st title, while Kelly is 23.
the divas match was awful the only good stuff came from tiffany getting thrown against the barricade & kicked down by michelle after clotheslining layla on the outside…
layla was hilarious with the spray but dead match thanks to bad scripting off the match…
