We are extremely excited to announce today that we have reached a deal with Jason Deadrich, founder of the world’s largest professional wrestling video on demand site, ClickWrestle.com, to expand Diva Dirt in the coming months — and we want your help!
Since Erin and I launched this site as a news blog two and a half years ago, it has gone from strength to strength. So many of you have taken this journey with us and enjoyed all of our successes. We’ve been blessed to forge some great contacts, conducted some fantastic interviews and have even raised money for charity. But as we look to the future, we quickly realised that we have frankly grown out of being a ‘blog’. We created the moniker ‘The Women’s Wrestling Bible’ but with Jason’s investment and expertise, Diva Dirt really will be the women’s wrestling bible as we step it up a gear and move up to the next level.
As well as creating ClickWrestle, Jason is also the founder of ChickFight, the home promotion of Cheerleader Melissa and founder of the newly-established Female Fight League. Needless to say, he is a big advocate of women’s wrestling and has been an integral part of our growth since partnering with us one year ago.
“Working with Melanie and Erin at Diva Dirt over the past year has been a real pleasure and I am excited about taking the next steps to make Diva Dirt a must-visit, destination site for all fans of female professional wrestling,” said Jason.
So what does all of this mean for you? Well, in a couple of months time, we will be relaunching Diva Dirt [Diva Dirt 2.0 if you will] with a brand new, professional look and feel and stacks of new content. We are moving away from being a ‘news blog’ and becoming a content provider in our own right. As well as the news, editorial and audio you currently see, Diva Dirt will feature exclusive photo galleries, video footage of women’s wrestling from around the world and much more.
Additionally, we will be launching a premium section that will bring readers closer access to the stars for a flat-rate monthly fee. We understand that the prospect of a premium section may sound daunting but rest assured, Diva Dirt has taken great consideration into getting this right and providing first-run, exclusive content featuring some of your favourite female wrestlers. Our goal is to provide wrestling’s best female talent with new avenues of income to complement traditional means i.e. bookings, in liason with the Female Fight League.
“When we announced the formation of the Female Fight League, we stressed that this would not just be another wrestling promotion. The FFL represents an organization of female wrestling promoters, wrestlers and fans. Teaming up with Diva Dirt is a perfect fit for the FFL and we look forward to furthering female professional wrestling and providing support for promotions and wrestlers around the world,” said Jason.
And now, this is where you come in! We want to hear what or who you’d like to see as part of the new Diva Dirt. Got a suggestion on content? Promotions you’d like to see us work with? A certain wrestler you’d like to see contribute? We’ll be listening to all of your suggestions so we can truly make Diva Dirt 2.0 the women’s wrestling bible.

Could you work with Scottish and English Wrestling and give us the latest result from women wrestling in scotland and england
and contribute more about the WWE Diva’s and let fans be more part of Diva Dirt
i for one am excited to see the diva dirt 2.0 come to life. i seriously can’t wait! being a daily visitor, i am quite interested to try out the premium section as well. goodluck on the evolution guys. :)
congrats on gettin’ to the next level :)
im really interested to see what ‘Diva Dirt 2.0′ will be like.
cant wait
wow this is amazing news. Well done ladies, this is fantastic and you should be proud. I would love to see Kong with a column on the new Diva Dirt. It would be good to look at some of the Japanese promotions as well as Scottish and English wrestling. I’d love to see some of the audio shows on video, (ie Kristan and Friends) however I am not sure if this could be done. Maybe do some of breaking news in video.
In terms of a premium area, I wouldn’t mind paying for it as long as the price is right.
I agree with Martin, it would be good to let the Diva Dirt fans to be more part of the site. Sorry if I’m going on a little bit. It’s just that I have worked a lot with websites.
and helped re devlope them.
Great news for Diva Dirt and the premium area seems to be interesting. It would be great to have access to some wrestling footage of our choice from Clickwrestle.
You guys have pretty much done everything so it’s hard to think of something new. lol
congrats on the 2.0 thing, can’t wait to see what the site will look like
Oh, it would be good to talk about OVW as well,. It seems that it’s not covered as much and maybe do a spotlight or profile on upcoming divas. This could be a review on diva in the developmental system or a independent wrestler that is on the rise. Maybe call it “Diva-Watch” or Divariozon (Diva on the horizon).
Congratulations guys, this is well deserved. It’s very heart-warming to hear about any kind of good news regardings all of you.
i just what you guys to have a spotlight on all the ladies of wrestling supersters and rookies big promotions and indys even some backyard stuff LOL!!! which you already do but with more focas and detail thanks divadirt
wow it sounds amazing, DivaDirt just keeps getting bigger and better
This is amazing news and just proves how much hard work and dedication can pay off. Congrats Melanie and Erin, with the help of Steven, Tiffany, Cryssi, David, Kristin, Allison, Eric, Kat and most recently Jennifer, you’ve all made Diva-Dirt a massive success and the place I first visit when I turn on my computer.
The site’s wide variety of content and friendly staff and visitors make it a great place to come, and for some people, it is a great place to let go and allow them to escape from their everyday problems. From the inspirational conversation of Kristin and Friends, to the laugh out loud cattiness in Diva Soup, and for the fantastic interviews done by Melanie and Lee and Stew on the Women Of Wrestling, there really is something for everyone. Thanks a lot for your hard work!
So with Diva-Dirt expanding, and with the link between Diva-Dirt and the FFL becoming stronger, I would love to see the Diva-Dirt team expand throughout audio and in writing to reflect the link with the upcoming promotion that will showcase WORLD talent. With that in mind, it’d be nice to see some more of the world represented within the team. I understand that the majority of visitors are from the USA, but I know I’d love to see another full-time member from the UK with Melanie, and how about someone from Australasia or Western Europe? Even though the site is already awesome, I feel a team with more nationalities would appeal to a wider audience.
In terms of ideas for content, I would love to see an edition of Diva-Dirt LIVE based around the UK/Europe. I love listening to the show on a Thursday morning, but I know I would love to be a part of the show too, yet staying up till 3am is a bit much (I know you do it every week Melanie, and I don’t know how haha!)
I also feel that David is pretty lonely in the Opinion Column section. Only his opinions are voiced through an actual column (along with 1 other edition of Kat Waters’ column). I would like to see more opinion based journalism-style columns like David’s from normal wrestling fans and if possible, past and present stars of Women’s Wrestling. For example, I would love to see a column from Jason Deadrich or from Cheerleader Melissa.
Hope I’ve not sounded a bit demanding, but I just hope Diva-Dirt can excel in the future and grow from strength to strength! :)
Oh, and I had another idea for an audio show concept. I devised “Team Talk” along time ago and the show would be a basic one-to-one interview with one member of the Diva-Dirt team being interviewed, and we’d get to learn their inspirations, what got them into watching wrestling and maybe the interview could be structured around a certain main topic each work. I would be interested in hearing more about the Diva-Dirt team and visitors could also submit their questions. I know Happy Hour was meant to give us more of an insight to each of the team, but now that’s gone.
Right anyway, enough of me rambling on, hope I gave some ok ideas! :-D
I’d like to see some shoot interviews from former divas/KOs whether it be in video or written form.
I’d also like to hear from some of the divas we never hear from in interviews like Jillian Hall, Gail Kim & Alicia Fox.
I’d like to hear about more international promotions (like in Japan and even Mexico).
As well, you should definitely have a guest (wrestler) on every Diva Dirt LIVE show. When you had Melissa on, it was a HUGE incentive to tune in and call in.
And just throw as many videos as possible from as many promotions as possible up. The more multimedia you’ve got, the better.
Just keep doing it like you love it, and good luck!
Oh. My. God. FANTASTIC news guys :). Good going you two, and the rest of the team & guests tooo!
I’m so glad that your fans have stayed loyal (much like myself ;)).
I cannot wait for this relaunch! I have something to look forward too for late august early september time now :P. WOOOP! XD.
Oooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! XD
I agree about wanting to hear more about international promotions. I think it could create an even more positive mood on the site, given that we tend to complain about the same promotions (U.S. mainstream), meanwhile there is a lot of great international talent that deserve a shine. :) More people need to be exposed to the indies and international female wrestling.
Great news, guys! The site just keeps on growing, huh?! I thought with the new layout and all this was already DD 2.0? Whatever, I’ll just call the next new layout DD 3.0 :)
Jack5326′s ideas are EPIC, and I would love to see those come to fruition.
Awesome. Congratulations. Looking forward to seeing Diva Dirt 2.0.
Like other people said, I’d definitely like to see coverage of more wrestling promotions, U.S. and International.
I think more viewer interaction is what everyone wants, but what more can you guys do, right? I’ll just pitch some random ideas since they’ve been picked up in the past (i.e. “Dear Danger”, yup, that was meh!!!Haha):
1st.Variety of competitions. I know you guys have many competitions, but I think that they’re all won pretty easily. Now it’s time to kick it up a notch for DD 2/3.0! Have WRITING competitions. Have POSTER competitions. Have more CREATIVE competitions. Like your Sexiest Divas MV competition, except with a wider audience. The prizes don’t even have to be that big. Like, if you did have a writing or poster competition, the winner who submitted the best work could have it FEATURED on the site, no? I think it’d give motivated, up and coming writers/artists an opportunity to showcase their talents while still somewhat contributing to the site. It’s a win-win that I know many people would adore.
2nd.Add one last person to your editorial team. This person wouldn’t be doing reduxes or anything of that sort, but each week this person would release ARTICLES on current happenings in the women’s wrestling world or anything else they see fit to write about. For example, they could post on why Savannah’s release was good or bad, or why giving the title to Alicia was good or bad. Get the gist of it yet?
3rd.Lastly, create your own Women’s Hall of Fame and start a campaign for it all the way until WM next year. Yes, you all read that right. DD has grown to the point where they can make or break someone if given enough effort. That’s why I suggest DD create their own HOF. Each year add just one woman to the HOF and campaign for them to be added into WWE’s HOF. Then, if they DO actually get inducted your influence in women’s wrestling will have been cemented forever.
Other than that, just keep up the hard work ;)
This is very exciting to hear, congratulations Diva Dirt. My only suggestion is I know you said you’re stepping back from the gossip and news, but how about you Incorporate the old with the new and still provide the daily RAW, NXT, SD, and PPV Redux. I enjoy reading them as well as Diva news.
Just an idea because I love what you have now and I like you’re stepping up, but don’t get a rid of what we all love at first which was your guys daily redux and news that I need to know lol.
This is absolutely fantastic news, it truly is amazing how big this old blog site has gone from only 2 odd years. I’m with Diva-Dirt every step of the way! (Unless it truly involvess paying just to read news on anything womens wrestling related that is xD)
I really can’t think of anything for you guys to do more of tbh. If anything maybe have members of the site, like you (those reading this message now) and I who have been to live shows of anything, WWE, TNA, idie shows like SHIMMER, Pro Wrestling Eve (I’d like that very much tbh for more news on that), anything really. Let people give their views on how the live shows went. =-)
MAYBE a possiblity is to make this site a small promo thing for those women in promotions who pay attention to diva-dirt and love the ite ever so. Maybe post a writen promo to their ‘*insert person and match/title stipulation here*’ and get more publicity for that, both for them and Diva-Dirt. I reckon that would be a great way to gain more viewers if you ask me. =-) However if its too much I can see why you’d say no so it’s all good.
And if I’d have dream people to work for you… Torrie Wilson, cause THATS WAY! >=-D But I highly doubt she’d either agree or reads Diva-Dirt regularly so I leave that out of the options box plz. xD
Maybe also, erm, post like biography’s of new up and coming womens wrestlers prehaps? Or even if its not newcomers, but anyone in general, make profile pages for thee women of wrestling. I’d LOVE to see a Becky James one personally, even though she’s barely done anything. WELSH PRIDE FTW! >=-D lol
I’ll try ot think of more, but if you’d rather not just say STFU (Freak, not other things 0.o) Radical, I’d be alright with that too. xD
good news and congratulations. on the topic of suggestions, i know you had the early makings of a message board quite a while ago, but i would really like to see a comeback of that. there aren’t that many great women’s wrestling get-together places on the web that i’ve found and the ones i have are either majorly quiet, inactive or suffer from an elitist group of members. sometimes i feel like the comments section here on diva-dirt isn’t enough (there are times when i find myself agreeing with somebody so much that i kinda wish i knew ‘em!) and i’d rather there be more of a community/women’s wrestling family feeling as opposed to comments with a name – if that makes sense?
Congratulations Melanie, Erin and the rest of the Diva Dirt crew. You all work very hard and passionately to help make this site what it is, which seperates it from all other diva(Global Womens Wrestling)related sites. You guys are absolutely number 1 and it shows why.
So moving on, I wouldn’t mind being a premium member as long as we get an even exchange, for lack of a better term. I’m a huge fan of lengthy interviews with top female stars(Past and Present), specifically when they’re long and interesting. And when the interviewers go there..(respectfully and tactfully ofcourse.) I personally love Word Association- WWE Magazine used to do it. You mention someone by name and the interviewee gives their thoughts summed up in one or two words. Or a sentence.
Basically id like to know what storylines the divas pitched to the writers, who they wanted to work with and why, who they didn’t…ect..
The obvious big interviews to kick off a new site would be women like Mickie James, Melina, Michelle McCool, Maryse, Angelina Love, Madison, Lita, Trish, Chyna and Terri Runnels..even Dixie Carter! Big names. Haha I’m on dream street now.. ;)
I like Jack’s ideas. I think its because im self involved though :P
And btw I love TrishMelinaFan’s ideas! Just perfect with the Hall Of Fame idea. Though to kinda add to it..I wouldn’t be too concerned with WWE recognizing yours(DivaDirts)Hall Of Fame-but instead(being recognized and respected) amongst the fans worldwide. Slowly but surely. We all know there are a lot of women who deserve to be in a prestigious HallOfFame and to me WWE is not 100% dead on in that respect..DivaDirt should be recognized above WWE’s or TNA’s own ideas..each year you can do a clas of 10 women/maybe even presenting them with a plaq? And taking pictures for the site as well along with an interview..that would be great! Alright..am I getting too carried away again? :(
I Was also thinking Diva Dirt Should have a New DIVA DIRT Meets Section were a member of Diva Dirt Meets a Diva, Knockout or Indy star and have it in Video not audio and also have a bit to DIScuss your thoughts on the current Women Wrestlers
Congrats guys!I love that you guys are growing but I hope that Diva Dirt stays fun and entertaining. Sometimes while reading comments I feel that some people should get thier own column. Some DD readers, like Steven, Jennifer and David, have proven to be very talented in that regard. Maybe if you could have another competion, like Blogista, where readers get a chance to be writers? Once again, congrats and thank you for all the blood, sweat and tears you put into this site.
Wow, I tip my hat to the motivation you guys have to make diva dirt the top site for female wrestling news. I for one love the hall of fame concept as well as the international aspect too. I’d also be really invested in the idea of looking into OVW a bit more as well. Plus I believe a fan art or something of that nature would be awesome. In the sense of getting other’s involve in a designated place on the new 2.0 implement. Also biographies of new up and comers would be awesome. Plus possibly a blog for current female’s still in training to begin there career. I think a lot of people would be interested in knowing what’s the training like for those outside of FCW, or main training facilities. It’s rather difficult and stressful, with the traveling aspect and financial too. That’s my long spill lol sorry, I just really love this site. You can bet I’ll be embracing the premiun askect as well! Congrat’s to the Diva Dirt team, also the readers and fans you guys played a role too!
*aspect I’m rubbish at writing on my phone. :D
Congrats to you ladies and fellow staff members. Can’t wait to see the new site. I been visiting since it first open like a lot of you have and I’m exited to see where this takes it. Can’t wait and again Congrats!
Just a quick question, Melanie. Will you guys still be doing write-ups, reduxes and PPV recaps? And will there also be more opinion-based columns like David’s? Those are some of my favourite things about DD.

Just to clarify, we are NOT stopping our coverage of WWE or TNA. Everything you see now will still be part of the new site. We’ll just be amping up everything else.
Congratulations! Really looking forward to the premium section – I will be there for sure. A bigger focus on the likes of Australian, Mexican and Japanese wrestling would be really cool.
Another thing that would be cool is a spotlight on different female wrestlers or promotions… like where you post a bunch of photos of theirs, whatever you can find on Youtube (matches, highlight videos, promos, etc.) and show everyone what they are all about. I bet they would appreciate it, in addition to opening people up to a new wrestler/promotion.
Maybe you could run a competition with tickets to a wrestling show as the prize (say, SHIMMER).
Maybe a guest column from another wrestler? Sort of like Katie Lea’s… like, didn’t Miss Jackie used to have one on WWE.com back in the day (doesn’t she have a Journalism degree or something)? Maybe you could ask her if she would do one on here. :)
woooooow im so happy
i’ve been following mel on i-torrie then here
im a big fan of this site i open it when ever im on my pc just like i do witth msn and facebook…u guys became part of my life and im glad to see u doin great
wish u allllllllll the luck
WWE barely does any x-Divas’ from ‘Where Are They Now’ so that could be a cool concept to up-take. (ex: Lena Yada, Joy Giovanni, Ivory, Molly Holly, Debra, Terri). You’ve guys already proved you have the connections haha, and basically all of them probably have twitter accounts :P
I just hope you don’t change the lay-out too much, I kinda like the whole sleekness of the site. Anyway, congratulations for achieving so much in 2 and a half years!
This is Fantastic News, Im so happy for you guys! You put in so much effort and it is noticeable
I would love to see some full matches from Shimmer and PWWA, this could possibly be in the Premium section,
My main point was some more competitions, like some people have already been saying, maybe some more creative competitions e.g storey-line writing, Posters, MV
and Custom Entrance Videos.
Some of the prizes could be:
Vouchers for clickwrestle
Tickets to Local Indies
Shimmer DVD
Meet and Greet with a female wrestler
And even with the custom Entrance Video maybe the winner gets the entrance video on TV maybe for someone like Layla or any Knockouts
I know this site has a lot of connections
Once again very happy for you
So Awesome I cant wait. Diva-Dirt 3.0 since the Layout now is 2.0!!
Congratulations, will DivaDirt be looking at the women’s wrestling on that new MTV2 show coming later this month?
Diva Dirt just keeps getting better! Congrats and I’m very excited to see DD2.0 =)
Great News DivaDirt. Keep up the good wolrk. I would like to see Video Footage of those indepentent matches that are not on TV.
Ok this is gonna be so great and I cant wait to see this new site. I have just one thing would you guys consider doing a post-smackdown show??
