i think this is maryse’s third match on superstars. if i remember right,she had a singles against gail possibly back when they were on smackdown and she had a recent match on there.. i think it was another tag?
hmm a quick google says maryse and jillian vs the bellas on superstars on the 15th of may. perhaps my brain made up the singles against gail lol.

Tonight is Maryse second bout on Superstars. The other time she was in a match on Superstars was in May (another match teaming with Jillian aganist the Bellas)..
Correct, she had two matches (including tonights) & then made an appereance on the show back during the time of the divas championship tournment. That might be where you got the idea Kaledrina :)

This is Jillian’s angle with the Bellas and Maryse is just there because Jillian needs a partner, yet she still had to enter to Maryse’s music. Couldn’t they at least have seperate entrances?

Oh man, I’m watching the match as I type this, and Maryse is as horrible as ever in there. She can’t bump, she can’t catch her breath..she’s just panting trying to not pass out.
Jillian and The Bellas performed well.
And that backstage music they use for the girls…comeon! They’ve been using it for years! Millions of songs and they can’t find a new one? Jeepers!

Oh, Jillian. LMAO, first she tries Maryse’s hair flip and then tries to switch with her and acts shocked that it didn’t work. She’s funny. The match wasn’t bad except the Bella’s “clotheslines” on Maryse. it’s funny how Maryse was desperately trying to get the ref’s attentions to turn around and he never even looked at her. I understand this feud between the Bellas and Jillian started because of the switcheroo but it’s still getting old…
hate to say it, but maryse was pretty terrible :( i’ll have to rewatch it, of course, as it might’ve been that bella twin’s fault, but most of the moves maryse was taking didn’t look like they were connecting.. she was just a floppy mess.
loved the jillian hair flip and switch attempt though, lmao. comedy doesn’t always work in wrestling, especially during matches, but jillian’s timing is excellent. the bellas and their wins is starting to grate on me.. they really need to turn them heel and jillian face or something.
The match was okay. Maryse taking the monkey flip from one of the Bellas looked pretty cool, as she went flying pretty fast and landed near the middle of the ring.
Don’t really know how much more they can do with this Jillian/Bellas thing, though.
Yes, the Bella’s & Maryse never have good in-ring chemistry. However, this does not call for the ‘blame game’.

i’ve been thinking that the past two weeks, so kudos to wwe for giving us the last fortnight of material lol.
No pleasing some of you guys. You complain there is no storylines, they give you one, you complain. I personally love Jillian though she jobs, to me she is ALWAYS the most memorable diva of the night, you may not always remember something Maryse (etc) have done on Raw/SD/Superstars/PPV but i garentee you will remember what Jillian done, and you’d most probably laughed/enojoyed it!
About Brie’s clotheslines.. She does do them weird, but also the chick taking them takes them weird. Brie launches diagonally while the chick taking it moves out of the way and gets a fist to the chest. That has to hurt. lol
I thought Maryse did fine. But since most diva fans judge based on quantity of the moves on whether someone they don’t like is good or not, it is kinda pointless to explain why.
I liked the match. It seemed shorter than what we have gotten in the past month, but I can live with it. ‘Cuz Imma be a Bella mark, something about them makes me think they are the most “kid” friendly Divas. I know a lot of guys have a thing for twins (which I don’t know why), but as pretty as the Bellas are and as much booty shaking as they do, they come across as sexual at all.. Or it could be because a bunch of little girls in the audience was cheering for them. haha

I have to disagree. I think Maryse and Nikki have a great “catty” chemistry. If you look back at their last encounters in matches (be singles or tag), Nikki had shown more sass towards Maryse than she did to anyone else.

The monkey flip Maryse took was just about the only thing she did right. It has nothing to do with the quantity of moves, that’s clutching for straws again friend. She can’t bump worth a shyt, that’s the simple truth. And you’d think she’d be working on her cardio for endurance/stamina by now. These matches are relatively short, she’s hardly in the ring anyway, and when she is, she’s almost passing out because she can’t catch her breath? Enough is enough. I like Maryse, she’s hot..yadda yadda..just keep her out of the ring okay?
Jillian was great. One of The Bellas needs to work on her closelines, but they did well all things considered.

Did Maryse take many bumps in the first place during this match? I remember the monkey flip and some clotheslines where the Bella who did them used her fist rather than her arm, but that’s it. The rest of the match, as far as I remember, was Maryse beating up a Bella and, when that wasn’t happening, Jillian was the one in the match.
This match was forgettable but I enjoyed Jillian. I really hope she didn’t think the switch was going to work lol. Maryse was bad. She pretty much didn’t sell anything well. I don’t know what happen between Smackdown and Raw but Maryse really went downhill. I feel sad about that. Nikki is my girl and needs to be in the title picture.
IDK what happened to Maryse since Smackdown either. I guess when she got hurt she couldn’t do what she used to do but I mean she had surgery about a year ago so it should be fine now. I would be worried about getting hurt again too but I don’t think I would let it get in the way of training or trying hard in the ring. I just really hope she starts training harder because I miss the Smackdown her where she had good matches. But I still love her because she’s not super terrible and I love her character/charisma and she’s super gorgeous :D
I want to blame her knee as well but as you pointed out it’s been fixed for awhile now. Whatever the problem is she needs to fix it cause on Smackdown she rocked.

The French Kiss, the French TKO, her spinning backbreaker, and the camel clutch are really the only things she’s ever done on a regular basis, even before her injury. Anything else she has ever done are moves she only used once or twice, such as the leglock she used on Candice at the 2008 Survivor Series. Making Candice submit with it marked both the first and last time she used that hold.
Her match with Michelle McCool @ Unforgiven & the SD! afterward were amazing! She did awesome. I think she either has chemistry with the person or she doesn’t.
Totally, she was amazing on Smackdown. You would think since WWE thinks it’s necessary for her to be on TV every week they would make her get her crap together…

All the more reason for her to put some effort into it, wouldn’t you agree? If her job is to take a few bumps a month, then you need to do a hell of a job taking them. Again, your coming up with excuses for her.
I’ve said this before, but before anyone gets on me for “Hating” Maryse; let me clarify. I like Maryse. I think she’s beautiful and she’s got a good character going. But again, how long has she been in WWE now? I mean people were getting on Maria for the same reasons. People get on Kelly for lack of skill progression as well. Maryse should be no exception. Oh and let me also say, I’ve seen some of her Smackdown matches everyone on here raves about(The Power Of Youtube)…and granted, they’re not a complete loss. But its nothing to write home about either. I thought there was. Drastic change between then and now, seeing how people go on about her Smackdown days. Big deal, she did like 4 more sloppy moves..:s
Maybe it was just her in ring chemistry with Michelle…Michelle makes a lot of people look good in the ring, maybe that’s what was happening? Maybe…IDK but she still needs to get it together regardless
One of my fave Maryse matches was when she had a match with Michelle on ECW. I thought that was a pretty good match. Her match at Unforgiven was great as well.

That could be true. Maryse has never used many moves, though. McCool even brought it up while doing commentary on Smackdown in early-2009 during the time when they were partners but still feuding.
Shockingly (not really), Maryse never was allowed to saying anything about Michelle’s weaknesses as a performer. I know that I would have marked out if Maryse had ever said that that the toughest thing about wrestling Michelle was trying to not die of boredom during the match.

maryse only had good matches with michelle and that because michelle worked her good……..if anything the only divas who are good in my book are beth, gail. jillian melina, michelle and natalya the rest are alright just need a little more training
Maryse will improve as she works with more experienced workers like Gail Kim, Natalya, and maybe Melina or AJ Lee. She will get better soon. ;)
I have a feeling she’ll be working with Melina when she comes back so her and JoMo can feud with Teddy and Maryse :D I’m looking forward to that because we didn’t get to see much before Melina got hurt and I really want Maryse to work with her so she can get better :)

My point was she did not take a ton of bad-looking bumps or ton of bumps period. She only took a total of about three, one of them looked quite good, two were not great but far from the worst I’ve seen and, most importantly to me personally, none of them looked reckless or unsafe. Bumps that look unsafe is the reason why Alicia Fox’s wrestling scares the hell out of me a lot of the time.
Maryse is a horrible wrestler and Michelle did one hell of a job carrying her, I think they put her in the ring way too early. Too bad though because she really is a good character but just doesn’t have the in ring skills to back it up. In a few years she will be forgettable.
I liked this match much more than I thought I would….Jillian seems “recharged” with this current storyline…she had great comedic timing tonight and the “switch” with Maryse was a truly funny moment. Even in defeat I thought Jillian showed again she is a true professional.

Could we see the reuniting, of one of the most prestigious tag teams in World Wrestling Entertainment history in the very near future? It might already be in the process of happening according to individuals close to the situation.
According to backstage sources within WWE, the plan right now is for Melina to align herself alongside “The Shaman Of Sexy” John Morrison upon her return to World Wrestling Entertainment, following her injury.
Melina and Morrison have a past together, as they were part of the tag team M’N’M along with Joey Mercury.
According to multiple sources backstage in WWE, their have been some internal discussions that the company wants to re-unite M’N’M to rekindle the WWE tag-team division.
Depending on the outcome of this Sunday’s WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view, in which The Hart Dynasty (Tyson Kidd & David Hart Smith) will defend their WWE Unified Tag Team Championship Titles against The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso), will determine whether or not Mercury, Morrison, and Melina will be heel or face; because it’s strongly anticipated that they will go after the new champions.
Regardless of who is victorious, it makes a lot of sense, especially with the dynamic of Diva competitors, such as Tamina (with The Usos) and Natalya Neidhart (with The Hart Dynasty), so adding Melina to the mix could really play into the storyline.
Joey Mercury returned to World Wrestling Entertainment on April 20th of this year and is reportedly playing the role of the masked Straight-Edge society member, which leads into the next part of this story.
WWE sources have also revealed that Mercury will not be the person revealed as the masked SES member, but instead, shall he return to the company, it is speculated it could be former NXT Season One rookie Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson).
As it has been well documented, Danielson was released from the WWE on June 11th for the choking of ring announcer Justin Roberts via Roberts necktie, during the NXT rookies beatdown on WWE officials and superstars, on the June 7th edition of, WWE Monday Night RAW.
Danielson was said to have been a scapegoat in the script for what went down and the feeling is that once the whole thing had blown over he would return. Danielson returned to the Indy scene recently and is said to return to the WWE once all his dates have been fulfilled. Danielson noted at a recent Indy event that he had a major plan in the works that he couldn’t reveal right now.
Id like to see Maryse vs. Melina myself. they’ve got similiar characters..it could get interesting. Thanks for the repot MelinaFan.

Your Welcome and I really thinks its a great idea mainly because ive heard wwe want to build her up more and plus putting her as a manager will give her more time to heal but she is also expected to gain the divas title that way natalya could get it from her in a all titles on the line match

Maryse does the same stuff now that she did when she was wrestling Michelle. If she’s bad now, then she has always been bad. No chance of her going to FCW, either, because if WWE cared about her not using many moves, they would have done something about it over 18 months ago because the same thing people are complaining about was happening at that time.
And as I’ve said about her partnership with DiBiase, I hope, for his sake, that they are broken up real soon before the guy ends up damaged beyond repair. Not a huge fan of the guy, but he deserves better than to have a manager that is just in his way and distracts attention from him. This whole thing is supposed to get him over as the next top star, and that’s never going to happen with Maryse. People are not going to give a damn about watching him wrestle or listening to him in a promo when they have the option of watching Maryse at ringside or on commentary. He can’t compete with her, and nobody wants to see Maryse tone down her act so that he can.
