  1. Can’t wait to see this.
For a rookie Jamilia is VERY impressive and you can’t go wrong with Death Ray.

  2. Poor Jamilia is going to get jacked up. Awesome to see her getting some more big time exposure. Always good to see Del Ray.

  3. Doesn’t Del Rey always smooshes the chicks in her ROH on HDNet matches? How can anyone get behind that..?

  4. “Doesn’t Del Rey always smooshes the chicks in her ROH on HDNet matches? How can anyone get behind that..?”

How can anyone get behind Maryse, who gets pummeled in every match until the last 3 seconds where she gets a ddt in? Or how can anyone get behind John Cena, Hulk Hogan or Ultimate warrior who get beaten to pulp for the first 90% of the match, then suddenly gain superpowers and win. Or how can anyone get behind 80s/90s wrestling in general where basicly EVERY match was a squash match vs a noname jobber (except for ppv/supershow matches). That’s how wrestling works.

At least in Del Rey’s matches her opponents are allowed to get some offense in and have an opportunity to show what they are able to, so it’s not a regular squash match, even though you know del Rey is going to win.

  5. I guess those be invalid points because more people get behind the WWE product than the ROH product. haha

  6. death rey is going to tear her up but jamilla is a good rookie

  7. Happy to see Jamilia getting another shot as well. I saw her match against Mia which was pretty well put together. Del Rey’s awesome so I’m always up to seeing her presence in ROH. I’m lookng forward to see these two work together.

Well, you obviously didn’t see her last match against Reggie from OVW. I think people are eager to see Jamilia, who’s only been wrestling for like a year, work against a seasoned veteran like Del Rey.

Anywho, I think this match will be better than Jamilia vs. Daizee mainly because you have fresh, young babyface Jamilia facing monster heel Sara Del Rey as opposed to face vs. Face. It will be easier for the crowd to get behind Jamilia in this match.

Hmz, random attempt to bash ROH, completely unrelated to the subject we were discussing about. So I guess Sara wasn’t your problem afterall, you just like the bash anything that isn’t WWE?

  10. I hope it’s better than that Daizee Haze match last week.

  11. So is this another guest spot by Jamilia or has she been signed? I don’t mind her, she’s good for a green gal, but at the same time, I preferred Reggie’s work if anyone was going to join the roster. There are so many girls I’d like to see on ROH, I really think with the ROH ethos, the Women of Honour could easily be as good, if not better than the Knockouts were in their hey day. I just think ROH needs more support.

  12. Death Rey doesn’t squash her opponents. If you’ve actually seen her body of work in the promotions she’s in, she works very well with the people she faces. And it’s not about quantity, it’s about quality – so the WWE has a bigger fanbase. ROH & other worthy promotions have amazing matches with solid, hard workers who just want to be taken seriously. Those weren’t invalid points just because WWE has a bigger fanbase.

And women wrestlers aren’t “chicks”. They’re women.

For my money, this ought to be an excellent match. Love Del Rey and Jamilla’s becoming better and better. Hope she’s at SHIMMER this September.

I think it’s more a thing of showcasing the talent from the ROH Academy, they’ve used several other trainees before like that. A logical choice from a pure business pov, although they could’ve used other (more experienced) talent instead.
