A big congratulations to former WWE Women’s Champion, the wonderful Nora Greenwald aka Molly Holly who will be getting married later this month.
Nora’s pending nuptials were announced via White Bear Press, based in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, near where Nora lives.
Greenwald will marry Geno Benshoof, a recovered drug addict, whom she says is her first boyfriend. She also admits that she’s a virgin. Benshoof also says he had no idea about Nora’s wrestling past:
“I really didn’t know anything about (wrestling),” he said. “In my past, I didn’t pay much attention to what was going on in the rest of the world. I was caught up in drugs, in selling drugs and crime and everything else. I really didn’t pay attention to anything.”
While Greenwald was pile-driving opponents in the ring and charming fans around country, Benshoof was immersed in St. Paul suburban drug culture.
Over a three-year period, Benshoof had been arrested, charged and convicted of felony drug possession, burglary and possession of a dangerous weapon. He was homeless, had contemplated suicide and had been stealing from his friends and family.
At a February 2009 sentencing, a Ramsey County judge told him it was either treatment or 56 months in prison.
Benshoof said his arrest and sentencing was a godsend. He went through treatment, swore off drugs, found a job and met Greenwald.

Wow! What a beautiful happy ending for Nora. She is a beautiful person inside and out and it looks like she has really found ‘the one’. I wish Nora and Geno all the best! Reading this article really did bring a tear to my eye.

Congratulations Nora!! She’s a fantastic example of someone who was in the prowrestling culture and never sacrificed her values. I hope her and Geno have a wonderful marriage. She deserves it!
Nora Benshoof, interesting ring to it! Hope she’s not rushing into anything but good luck to her. She looks possibly the best I’ve ever seen her in that photograph, so glad she’s finally found happiness!

That is crazy (in a good way of course). Two people from two extremely different paths meeting each other at the crossroads and falling in love. I wish them nothing but the best.

Diva Dirt is inconsistent when it comes to the term “private”. I agree about the Kaz and Tracy situation, but for some reason they never reported Undertaker and Michelle McCool getting married. Me pointing it out this inconsistency is just me having fun with Diva Dirt. :)
It seems like they haven’t been dating too long, athough i wish her the best, i hope she hasn’t rushed into marriage do to her age. But she is a level-headed woman and i am sure she feels like she is making the right choice

vonVille: We’re not inconsistent. The McCool situation is something that was never announced, never made public. Therefore we did not report on it to respect their privacy. In contrast, Traci Brooks & Nora made their marriages public knowledge, so we felt free to report on it. There’s a difference. The wrestlers get so little privacy as it is that we respect those who want to keep their affairs private.

It’s fascinating that she’s been gone for so long and is only 32. That really puts things in perspective. With such a dramatically shorter life, it’s all the more imperative that every good female talent they have be developed and booked as well as possible.

I hope he treats her well. I would want to hear of them 30 years from now as a really old couple who’ve loved and lived a meaningful life. :’)

Aww i’m so happy for them!! xD I met Nora once and she talked to me and she was one of the nicest people in the world. Such a caring & loving woman. Lucky guy to be marrying such a wonderful person. And I hate that some people are making fun of her for being a virgin. She was waiting for the right person to spend the rest of her life with and it looks like she found that person. Congrats Molly! I always thought she would have no problem finding someone to “lose it” to. I mean she is a very attractive and charming girl. And she doesn’t look 32, she looks to be in her late twenties to me. Anyway, I respect her for waiting and walking so faithfully with her christian faith. I hope it all works out. I don’t particularly like the guy, he gives me bad vibes but whatever. As long as she’s happy. :)
