well, they’re finally doing something about the co-champ thing! not too keen on michelle replacing layla, though, even if it was the set-up for teddy long’s announcement.
next week should be interesting – they tape tomorrow night, right?
Looks like Lay-Cool might be breaking up. Well Im happy i get to see Kelly Friday and Im happy Skirt Tiffany is not champ
Interesting what i think will happen is next week they could not get to decide who will be the Women Champion …..Teddy says Layla is the Official champion and tells Layla she will defend the Women Championship to Tiffany Toninght or maybe SummerSlam or maybe they could say Kelly vs Layla for Summer Slam
Oh boy! Is WWE finally going to split Team LayCool & have them feud?! It’s going to happen sooner or later but I thought they would wait until September – after NXT was over.
I guess with Melina returning on Raw, they really don’t have solid workers to compete for the Women’s Title, so this might be the only way to go. Personally, if WWE is going to make them feud, I would prefer Layla to turn face & keep Michelle heel. Maybe at SummerSlam we can get Michelle vs. Layla – winner becomes official Women’s Champion?
Team Flawless is coming to an end.I knew this would happen straight up when they got the best friend necklace.AJ lee is right around the corner and i feel like Michelle is gonna replace Layla for AJ lee.
sounds like it’s going to be a GREAT segment, I’ve been waiting for the LayCool break up and I know it’s coming soon.
in all honesty thou I’m going miss them as a team, they really have become the most powerful diva couple since the days of Torrie, Candice, and Victoria.

i don’t think they will split up.. it’ll be too rushed. although it could make their mentoring on nxt more fun?
we’ll probably get a michelle vs layla match, which’ll cue a childish game of rock paper scissors, or something, and then one of them laying down for the other.. it’ll be nice to see michelle without a title round her waist ;)

thats a good point actually. i don’t see them fully breaking up until nxt is over. maybe they can break them up slowly, so one of them (probably Layla) gives up the title but starts to resent it. could work considering layla always does what michelle says…
I hope if WWE does decide to split up Laycool, they at least draw it out for a while. Let them spend a few months bickering and build up to a full-on feud.
They do need to finally establish who will be the official champ, though.

I REALLY hope this doesn’t mean the beginning of LayCool splitting because imo it’s way too soon. They’re getting over and if one of them turns face that leaves smackdown with one heel (I don’t count Rosa). It just doesn’t make sense to have them break up right now or in the next couple of months so I hope that they end up finding a loop hole or something of those sorts.
Honestly though I want to see Layla keep the title even though McCool is more qualified wrestling wise.
But typical WWE ending things way too soon when the women’s division is finally getting some exposure.
Maybe a break up angle will get over, maybe it won’t, but kudos to WWE if they have decided that they are finally throwing in the towel on Laycool. They were given mic time, TV time, and storylines, yet their entrance and matches still generated apathy with the live audiences the vast majority of the time. It’s been especially bad for the last few months. Might as well have them feud with each other and hope that generates some interest.

i hope next week we get layla vs mccool and have layla retain with the help of jumprope rosa.
There goes people think Michelle has improved on the mic, acting and personality areas if they take Layla from her.
Part of me wants Layla to turn face because I think she would be great at it.. But that means she will be squashed by Michelle like every-f’n-one Michelle faces. You just can’t win on SD if you a fan of the other divas. =/
NOOOOO! I love lay-cool! maybe its not what it seems. i mean the spoilers have been wrong before. maybe they weren’t mad at each others, maybe they were just arguing bc they were upset with teddy.
I dont want them to break up!! Maybe they just wont decide and then Teddy will say Lay is champ because she won the match…then Michelle will respectfully give up her replica belt and they can continue being friends lol. Although whatever happens I don’t think they’ll break up, there will just be a ton of tension between them and Kaval will be peacemaker :) but I think its too soon for them to split :(

Now that i think about it if Lay-Cool breaks up and 1 of them turns face there would be 1 heel, I dont know where WWE is going with this
If they for some stupid reason let Michelle have the title I will probably die. Layla deserves to have a nice reign as champion, not “co-champ.” I don’t want LayCool to break up though. Sounds interesting.
theres no way they’re breaking up.. both of them are establish heel after many months antagonizing all the other female smackdown.
didnt really like that they replace layla for michelle but anything that would not let tifanny win the belt is ay okay with me.. wheew!
Since Layla does everything Michelle McCool asks her to do, Layla should just let Michelle have the belt. Within the next few weeks, we can start to see Michelle walk all over Layla and so ultimately, Layla snaps and beats the crap out of McCool after a match. The following week, Layla cuts a promo where she brings out a ‘wwe title handbook’ and reads out some part where it says that the title can only change hands when it is defended – not simply GIVEN to another competitor sans contest. So then Layla gets her title back, and Michelle McCool is officially pissed the hell off. Enter real feud.
Oooh… looking good for Smackdown Divas! This is how I picture it:
I want to have Lay-Cool argue with each other for awhile over the title, and if for some reason it is handed to Michelle, Layla will have it nullified just like what Madison Rayne did to Angelina Love for the Knockouts title. Layla will turn face and Michelle will remain heel. The pair will feud till around Night of Champions, and Layla will retain until she drops the title to someone (I’m having Tiffany and Serena in mind. I think Beth will be out for a long time like Melina).
Nowadays, it’s rare for someone to hold a championship for over 100 days, and I personally want Layla to hold the title for at least 100 days. I’m sick of these quick title changes. WWE creative team needs to lay off watching TNA for awhile, cuz that’s probably where they’re their silly ideas from, except for Lay-Cool cuz they are the greatest female stable in a long time… even if they are knock-offs of The Beautiful People.
Speaking of TBP, it really wouldn’t surprise me if Layla became the Angelina Love of the group (by turning face and leaving/kicked out of the duo) and Michelle become Velvet Sky by remaining heel and finding another partner (although this part is unlikely).
R.I.P. Lay-Cool you will be missed (or hated).

I would love to see Lay-Cool break up. I like Layla and I think she should keep the title.
Teddy puts them in a match and if Vicki interferes she’ll end up suspended and Lay-Cool will be stripped of the title all together. This will make sure they’ll have to go at it.
I want Layla as a face and make another Diva a heel, maybe Kelly Kelly and they team up against Layla.
I think in terms of feuds etc a Laycool feud is the best thing for Smackdown Divas. I don’t wanna see Michelle as champ but I think she would be a formidible challenger for Layla to prove herself against. Rosa is a heel, so is Serena and are we forgetting Smackdown is set to debut a new diva who if it is AJ Lee, has been playing a heel in FCW. So Technically with Serena not wrestling and Beth out of action Layla turning face and becoming top face is exactly what Smackdown needs.
Since Kelly got drafted to Smackdown, ive been getting really bored of watching the Smackdown matches b’cos all it was.. was kelly vs michelle, kelly vs layla, kelly vs rosa, laycool vs blondtourage.
But with this now, it’s heating up.. i just wonder what it means by arguing & tbh, i think i can predict whats going to happen next week, laycool will offically split up as whoever gets the title will be the face & the heel will attack the face leading to a match down the road. or one of them getting the title then the other one getting jealous and then attack the champion.

i like rosa though, maybe she will end up in the picture too?? Or if layla turns face get brooke back and have an extreme expose reunion or if whichever one turns face they could be spending to much time with kelly kelly and tiffany gets jealous and starts an alllicane with whichever ones heel :L lol
And here was me expecting Tiffany to face Layla. I hope this was as good as their first match together on SD. =)

If there’s going to be a face turn then the odds are it will be Layla. Michelle is too good at being a heel and she’s too well established as one.

Why is it that I still find Michelle McCool unbearable? It’s funny. I want to appreciate her for what she does but I just can’t bear her for some reason.
When Mickie was put over Trish and Lita, I never felt that way.
When Melina was made to look strong enough that Trish couldn’t beat her without the help of Mickie, I did feel like it was a little too much given that she doesn’t wrestle as often back then but eventually, I did enjoy Melina’s push.
When Maryse was pushed over Melina and Gail, I was a bit annoyed because I never found her in-ring acumen to be convincing enough to not say “bullshit.” But eventually, I find her bearable because there were times when the WWE would let her lose fair and square.
BUT MICHELLE… good god, when she was pushed over EVERYONE (perhaps with the exemption of Beth,) I just can’t stand it. I seriously do not want to be the kind of viewer who doesn’t want to give a wrestler a chance given the risk of what they do but… man, I just can’t get my self to appreciate what Michelle offers.
And to make matters worse, she’s not even BAD in the ring. She’s a lot better than Maryse or Layla but I’d still put those two over her.
I guess it’s because the WWE, since they started pushing her, never really let her leave the title picture unlike it did the other divas. She’s always involved with a title shot with the exemption of that very very VERY (and I mean VERY) small window of “no-Michelle” when Gail came back.
Sorry for the rant. I just can’t help it.
that was a surprise, i hope Michelle doesn’t get the title again yet, hasn’t she held the belt like 3 times already
@theregoeskitty: She’s had it twice, and needs to be away from it for a long time still. I think Layla and Michelle will fued but both remain heel ala Maryse and Michelle when Gail kim debuted. I think we’ll see a long drawn out brek-up stemming from Michelle losing to Layla in a match for the title soon. Her jealousy will eventually get the better of her, and she’ll attack Layla and leave her lying. Then it will culminate at a PPV (Hell in a Cell maybe?) when they face off again in a Loser Leaves Smackdown! match seeing as though they can’t fued 2 heels forever (I’d keep them both heel because they are both best at Heel roles) and then Michelle would leave SD! and join RAW allowing Layla to fued with AJ Lee and then Beth when she returns. Or instead of Michelle just leaving, Teddy could trade her to RAW for someone else.
After thinking about it and how stale the SD Divas Divisions is getting I wouldn’t be suprised if they have a Diva Draft sometime after SummerSlam. Kinda like they did last year in October. I just think that they don’t know what to do with the Women’s Title. I can’t see Kelly or Tiffany getting the title at the moment. And I don’t think it’ll happen but if it does happen and they have Michelle & Layla feud I’m sure one of them will turn face. Let’s say Layla would be face so then Michelle would be the only heel diva on SD. I don’t count Rosa because of obvious reasons and I don’t see Serena getting in the ring anytime soon sadly. But I really don’t think WWE will split Lay-Cool because of how popular they have gotten in the past few monthes. Lay-Cool is the best thing they got going for them so I think they should stay together for a few more months.

Just to specify, Teddy Long said that Layla would defend the title, not Michelle. Why does Vickie have the power to change the stipulations? So unfair. Tiffany got screwed out of a title…
well i had expected this, but its too early it doesnt make sense to split them up YET ecspecially since they’re mentoring kaval, it could affect him.
also laycool are just getting over as a tag team and they eve get more reactions now, its a shame to break them up, they need to be together for about a year to make them more solid like miz/morrison, MNM,
but i understand what sd is trying to do, they have nothing else to do with the sd divas they’ve run out of ideas, we’ve seen laycool/blondtourage a billion times for months now, they do need fresh ideas.
i see this i bet teddy announces layla as the champ nd makes layla the full owner, but things seem alright for them, but they do bicker and argue, i belive they will slowly break them not straight away. (dont want it to affect NXT)
and also i want it to be different i want mccool to turn face and layla to be heel, its cos layla seem to suit heel,

Layla does suit being a heel…but Layla can also get over a lot better as a face then McCool can..
Layla has been a heel for 3 years, whereas Michelle has only been heel for 2, so i think Layla needs to turn face first
as often as I come to this site it always seems like people talk soooo much about how they want to see LayCool break up and now that it might be in effect people are panicking. I personally would love to see them together until next year
but nonetheless a Michelle McCool vs Layla match sounds amazing now considering how much they both have been built up and how Layla has improved. I really hope their unavoidable break up draws itself out over the course of the next 2-3 months. really want to see a slow burning feud, I think it could be as great as Trish Stratus vs Mickie James
Sounds like an interesting Smackdown finally! Not much note of the match except for the after part; can’t wait to see how this all plays out. Not too sure why Layla was replaced by Michelle, interesting.
