OVW crowned a new Women’s Champion on Saturday night, when British wrestler Holly Blossom defeated Taryn Shay for the belt.
Holly is one half of the Blosson Twins in OVW with sister Hannah, who herself is a former OVW Women’s Champion.
The OVW Women’s Title has been held by alumni such as Beth Phoenix, Katie Lea and Serena.

I do not know if they ever been told this before but both members of the Blosson Twins in the above photo look exactly like the way the actress that played the daughter on Different Strokes looked during the first couple of seasons of the show.

I’ve seen them on youtube a few times. Hilarious gimmick with bringing cupcakes to the ring like two nice people then switching at the end in a heel way. Congrats to her!

I would like to see WWE use them as Jillian’s backup to foil the Bellas.
It is nice to see that OVW is still using them and hope they get WWE or TNA’s attention!

HoorahMonster – OVW’s never stopped, its just not a WWE developmental facility anymore. It’s still operating though.
Jack5326 – I first heard of Hannah and Holly Blossom during an interview with former British wrestler Kelly Adams back in 2006. She told me about this pair of twins in Manchester who would be great when they debuted… at that point, I believe they had been wrestling for a year. I believe they were trained at the same place as current Pro Wrestling: EVE stars April Davids, Jenny Sjodin and Melanie Price.
OVW TV is still available for download at their site, and there might even be a few of their matches on ClickWrestle, as they appeared at a couple of ChickFight events too.

I love the Blossoms. I wonder why the WWE havent signed them yet. They are much better in the ring than the Bellas (who only have decent matches when Jillian carries them) and they have a very high ‘cuteness’ factor which is becoming rare in WWE (most look like strippers/pornstars nowadays). How about a Blossom-Bella feud with the loosers (Bellas off course) leaving WWE? ;-)
