  1. I wonder if they are going get alot of time since the divas usually do on superstars.

  2. I love this match already lol

  3. For some reason, they couldn’t decide which one of Tiffany’s legs was supposed to be injured.

  4. Good match. I wish they were given that much time on RAW and SmackDown.

I think Michelle was trying to attract birds to her hair with that do and those earrings.

  5. that match was really well done. i give major props to all three ppl involved. Layla put out a really good submission into a very innovative pinning mannover, Tiffany again prooved how good she is, and Michelle did wel on the outside too…is it me or are the fans getting further and further behind LayCool…i mean they are getting cheers over pops

the match was 5 1/2 minutes long…and they prolly coulda gone on longer

  6. I love Tiffany aggression(sp?). When she yelled get out the way Michelle then pushed her I thought that was great. I loved Layla picking the body part apart. I always thought that style fit her just right. I loved the submission into the pin as well. I loved every bit of it.

  7. Also i loved when Michelle said Tiffany’s skirt was in the way lol

  8. i loved that match, well the stream i was watching on kept lagging but from what i saw, it was a really good match!

  9. missed it, but it sounds decent, i guess?

makes me wonder why they couldn’t have just given this to us last week on smackdown and had held off on the whole co-title thing another week.

  10. Technically solid match but very slow and plodding. The last thing a Divas match needs to be is slow, considering how much trouble they have getting the fans interested when they are working at a quick pace.

  11. Very good match and Layla’s submission was awesome. I also like Tiffany’s traditional wrestling style instead of the typical flashy moves that a lot of the other new girls do.

“For some reason, they couldn’t decide which one of Tiffany’s legs was supposed to be injured.”

Dude, are you like the Debbie Downer of this site ? If you don’t know who that is you should google it… geez.

  12. @chrisP although i do agree divas matches shoudlnt be slow…i dont think this was THAT slow of a match, it had a lot going on and it was selling a story of Tiffany having a bad knee…and the fans seemed to buy it, cos imo they were a lot more into this match then they have been for other diva matches

  13. “Dude, are you like the Debbie Downer of this site ? If you don’t know who that is you should google it… geez”

No. I just actually watch the match and form an opinion based on what happened rather than going crazy with joy as soon as I see that a Divas match is about to happen.

  14. “i dont think this was THAT slow of a match, it had a lot going on and it was selling a story of Tiffany having a bad knee…and the fans seemed to buy it, cos imo they were a lot more into this match then they have been for other diva matches”

Superstars is taped, so unless the editiors were feeling lazy when putting the show together, the crowd is not going to be loud because on a taped show, you can make them loud.

And Tiffany having a bad knee was fine. What I mentioned was that during the match, they seemed to forget or couldn’t decide which leg was supposed to be the injured

  15. In a random note Michelle McCool was named the number 1 womens wrestler in the world be PWI.

  16. lacy V was botching all over the place the match was horrible

  17. that match was good but most wwe superstars matches r good tho hope raw and smackdown diva matches get that good and that long

  18. Really good match, but I did think it was going along kinda slow…I love Skirt Tiffany’s aggression, especially when she yelled at Michelle and pushed her. Michelle on the outside was making me laugh a lot. Wonder why Kelly wasn’t there to help…

  19. “No. I just actually watch the match and form an opinion based on what happened rather than going crazy with joy as soon as I see that a Divas match is about to happen.”

I don’t and have a problem with you forming an opinion, it just seems that you always try to pass off what you say as facts. And this has nothing to do what with I put emphasis on in the other comment. We all know the shows are taped, there’s no need to mention it every time there is a loud reaction in a divas match.

And I only “go crazy with joy”, when I watch REAL sports.

Passing off my opinions as facts would mean I was saying “No, you’re wrong about it being good. It was bad.” I don’t do that. I just say what I thought, just like everybody else does, and my opinion is that was that Tiffany’s leg injury switching from her left leg to her right leg mid-match was silly.

“We all know the shows are taped, there’s no need to mention it every time there is a loud reaction in a divas match.”

Not everybody knows about it, and when I mentioned it in this thread, I was responding to one specific poster that wasn’t you.

  21. God ChrisP, you’re always on here defending yourself lol. The way I see it is that Layla was doing a submission that affected both legs but it didn’t take away from the match so you mentioning it just comes off as nitpicky and petty. I mean, I don’t feel the need to mention small mistakes like on Raw when Alicia tripped up Natalya. People brought that up for whatever reason even though it didn’t take away from the match in any kind of way. Now, Eve completely missing a dropkick and Alicia selling it anyway, that takes away lol. I thought the match was pretty good, Layla works well with Tiffany.

  22. I thought Layla vs Tiffany was a great match and I enjoyed it. It was a different type of pace in this match which kept me interested. I think all three ladies did their part very well and I loved the outside interaction with Tiffany shoving Michelle because it shows her aggressive side and shows she doesn’t let anyone get in her way.

I also love the usage of the ring for Tiffany’s knee, it sold it well. The switching of the leg was kind of dumb, but I still love that there was a story to this and I enjoyed it.

Tiffany is improving & becoming one of my favorite divas. She really does improve and she doesn’t go straight to the “flashy” moves and actually pulls of nice moves. I loved the bulldog she did, beautifully executed by Tiffany and sold nicely by Layla.

Great job by the Smackdown ladies; I’m so annoyed of taped shows, the edited noises bug me so much, I love the realness of the crowd.

  23. “God ChrisP, you’re always on here defending yourself lol. The way I see it is that Layla was doing a submission that affected both legs but it didn’t take away from the match so you mentioning it just comes off as nitpicky and petty.”

That’s your opinion. For me, the leg injury going from the left leg to the right leg to both of Tiffany’s legs being fine and losing to a neckbreaker was stupid.

  24. layla looked alot like alissa flash but anyway what an amaizing match.

  25. Say whatt!? Tiffany is the 1# contender?
i’m just saying, i cannot wait until AJ Lee comes up & beth returns.
but for now, i think they should send the bellas to smackdown.

  26. Tiffany keeps showing her skills and I want to see her get a big push this year and a divas belt on her waist next year around this time. Layla ruined it for me she is too slow in the ring. Also agreed maybe when AJ and beth join smackdown the division will be so much better but the bellas should be released.

  27. it was a decent match, but why is Tiffany now the number one contender?! i can’t remember her ever winning a singles match.

  28. The match was decent. I love tiffany because she is basically a strong diva and her moves wasn’t flashy at all. She’s strong and she hits tso hard! She needs a proper push and a good feud with laycool tho and I don’t have any problem with her being a womens champ someday!

  29. hi

this match was great and i think that tiffany was a solid wrestler girl better that her friend kelly kelly.layla is always solid in ring i like when she’s work on ground in submission
really smackdown diva match was better than raw

  30. chrisP, I adore your comments; don’t ever change!

  31. I know it’s none of my business but I honestly don’t see what’s wrong with chrisP’s comments. At least he has the decorum to voice criticisms constructively unlike some people… MY SELF included of course. ;)

  32. Layla looks phenomenal as a lady in red. Amazing attire, she looked stunning. Michelle on the other hand looked lke a turqouise bird’s nest or something. Of what I saw of the match on WWE.com, it looked decent. Layla’s submission looked excellent, as did her pin combination, yet ChrisP is right in one sense in that why did she do those moves to win by a neckbreaker. And from what I remember, Tiff, didn’t sell those injuries that well. I only saw the match from the submission, so I can’t make a full judgement on it, but any match is better than none. Thumbs up-ish!

  33. ^ s/he, I mean… Sorry if you’re a girl chrisP… I didn’t really assume you were a guy. Just a mere typo. :)

  34. Ok just watched the match in full and I really liked it. I take back my comment about Tiffany not selling the leg injury as she did, but it’s a shame couldn’t have had a longer momentum shift towards the end of ths match to show her getting over the injury a bit. I loved when Tiffany shoved Michelle, that was amazing, and Layla micky-taking Tiff’s skirt was nicely done aswell. Overall, I’d give the match 7/10.

  35. “Sorry if you’re a girl chrisP… I didn’t really assume you were a guy. Just a mere typo”

No need to say you’re sorry, Crying Light. I am a guy, so your typo was right anyways.

I didn’t mention this last night, but I loved Layla busting out the the rarely-seen Indian Deathlock. Now there’s a perfectly good hold that someone needs to use on a regular basis.
