so ah.. alicia botched the last call.. whatever the match was good .
but my question is, why’s she getting a title shot so fast, what happened to eve’s push? jesus melina comes back and they forget they have other divas on the roster .
Melina vs. Alicia at Summerslam! Wow.
Unfortunately I expect Alicia to retain as Melina defeated her tonight.
Maryse/Jillian vs. Bellas vs. Gail/Eve should be good, depending on the ratio of wrestling to t&a.

The fans where into the match. The puppies chant was weak. It was just a handful of fans doing the chant. Probably some divas hater. It doesn’t take much to start a chant. Two guys just need to yell at the same time. I know because I’ve started chants in the past.
I still don’t like the fact Melina line jumped when Gail or Nattie didn’t even get to touch the Diva’s Championship. Melina/Alicia is always good though so I won’t complain too much.
Maryse’s hair looks nice again.
I love Melina & Alicia but the match wasn’t that good. Alicia did too much work (executed poorly) & Melina didn’t do enough work. Hope the title match @ Summerslam is better.
That match was awful don’t try to fool anyone and Alica again shows why she had no bussiness wrestling much less holding a title as she came this close to dropping Melina on her head and putting Melina out again.
And the stupidty keeps going with a rematch. I really want to get my hands on the stuff they must be smoking in WWE creative
@DivaDerby, Agreed. The chant was weak and it didn’t last. The important thing was that the crowd was behind the match..And they’re calling it a SunsetBomb too, cool.
And again, Mark Henry is down. He’s strong and everything but, he goes down fast with a simple move, what is he good for? Grrr!
This match was very off to me and It sounded like the crowd was chanting “Y’all cant wrestle :( I think maybe it is too early for Melina to return to the ring or it was too early to make Alicia champ. I can’t lie, I was very disappointed with this match.
I prefer Maryse’s hair with loose curls and waves
Alicia is probably going to cheat at Summerslam and Melina wins at NOC.
The obligatory Divas Summer thing… sounds like a bust, but who knows, divas have made crap matches pretty decent before.
Why are they half-assedly pushing Ted and Ryse? They get their entrance and then Nexus takes over. And where did they run off to anyway? Maybe give Ted a promo about what happened or something.
Alicia did pretty good in that match. the clothesline was good. She added the backbreaker to her moveset. The tilt a whirl backbreaker was iffy but she fought through it. I thought the match was pretty good. This wasn’t their best match together but i don’t think it was awful. To each their own I guess.
I honestly think it is to early for Melina to have a PPV title match. Plus even though I liked the match it was pretty sloppy. Congrats to the Divas title though for getting defended at SS.

I thought it was a very very good match, cant wait for the Summerslam match, hopefully it is as long as tonights, and we are getting two diva matches in one night thats pretty cool
Melina isn’t to blame @ all. Alicia is very overrated. I do respect what she does in the ring but she still is very green. On a side note, did anyone hear the pop that The Miz got? omg o_O.
The Melina and Alicia match was VERY boring, IMO. :/ I appreciate the fact that it was lengthy, but they should have same that length for a different duo of Divas because Melina/Alicia exchange just didn’t do it for me. I was just sitting there staring at the screen the whole time, nothing really made caught my interest. Just completely boring, tbh. Not looking forward to their SS match.
And, Maryse looked fckin’ gorgeous. Maryse for Sexiest Diva, FTW!<3 I'm only looking forward to the Maryse/Jillian, Eve/Gail + Bellas Match to see Maryse. I think it'll all just be T&A though, so I'm not really expecting to see a technical match out of a bikinis match? Especially sense they gave alot of Diva time to Melina/Alicia's exchange. -sigh-
@Alex, her hair is probably straight because they are going to be wrestling in bathsuits, they will probably get sprayed with water, making curls a bit useless.

Alicia did pretty good in that match
You are aware the term good refers to postive things right? She did a clothesline well big F’ing deal becaue a clothes line is a move any kid in his or her backyard can do. that match was awful and it shows Alcia is awful
I almost died when Maryse came out, she looked amazing! I was rather confused when it seemed as though they vanished in thin air when Nexus came out. I’m still kinda upset about the ending of the Diva’s match though…
@eyeofthetiger, she did the clothesline, she did the torture rack, she sold alot of the moves very nicely, you are obivously not a fan or hers,
However, at least it was better than that train wreck that was on Impact last week
That match was rough and I’m pointing at both girls. It seems that there was a little miscommunication and there was some struggle on Alicia’s part with that tilt a whirl backbreaker. Their interactions in the past have also been iffy and I think it’s because of their in ring styles. Still, good to have a Diva’s match on a PPV. Hopefully they’ll pull it togther for one of the bigger WWE shows and prove that they can get it done.
Yeah blame Alicia, it was her fault that Melina clumsily executed her finisher. Melina sitting closer to the shoulder than the waist of Alicia has nothing to do with Melina messing up that finisher. Not even the replays can save her from getting the blame. Whatever.
The match was worst than any of the Eve/Alicia matches that we’ve seen. The main difference is that Melina is till getting some reaction from the crowd. I feel like they’re both off of their game tonight. Melina more so than Alicia, hopefully they’d do something about it and give us something better on SS.
Alicia isn’t overrated I don’t think?
She’s a little sloppy(though truthfully not as sloppy as Maryse or Eve)but she bumps well and she’s got good chemistry with the other divas like Gail and Melina. If anything I think Maryse is overrated. She seriously does nothing but hairflipping(which, mind you, is not actual flipping) and a DDT. Everything else is sloppy and trying not to pass out from lack of oxygen. Sure Alicia is sloppy but its not like we’ve got a whole lot of choices here, atleast as far as WWE Creative is concerned. So yea, ill go with Alicia for now.
I think RAW is cursed, everytime a new diva shows potential on SD they don’t do good on RAW. I know it’s not cursed I think WWE just throws the newbies in the spotlight way to early.Maryse,Eve, and now Alicia are good examples, hopefully the SS match is much better.

The match was ok it just was a sloppy one on. It kind of felt weird not having spot fest in the match. I think this match was too soon. they should a have a tag team match or something else. I am looking foward the other divas match btw.

wat some of u dont get is that the tilt a whirl backbreaker was not alicias fault it was cclearly melinas fault cuz she made her body dead weigh and limp during it when everybody else who takes the move throws themselves into the move so dont blame my girl alicia and if u do u clearly r a hater and dont like her other then that i think the match was good

Some of the sloppy stuff was not Alicia’s fault. Melina did not take some of the offense well. That being said for a wrestler who has been out for 8 months the match wasnt that bad.

I think the match was good, wasn’t great but it was good.What I don’t get is this blame game people are playing. No one is at fault here, its clear that there was a bit of mis-communication between both divas. Add the fact that this is Melina’s first actual wrestling match back (correct me if I’m wrong) in which she’s bound to have a bit of nerves or even be a bit rusty. Besides, Melina and Alicia have never had the best in ring chemistry for some reason. Their past matches together echo that tonight.
@Dim3y18 thank you very much. I don’t understand how she’s getting the blame for an obvious mistake by Melina. Alicia did it to bigger girls and it was always smooth like butter. But hey I guess Melina is not capable of doing any mistakes.

The match was alright. However, the botches were more Alicia than Melina. The backbreaker was probably both of them (I think Alicia wasn’t quite ready to do it and Melina wasn’t able to help work through it well). But the Last Call thing was Alicia. She didn’t hold Melina’s legs so Mel almost fell on her head and Alicia started twisting around or something before Mel did the move, making her (Alicia) land awkwardly.
But Mel shouldn’t use the Last Call as counter finisher to ladies like Alicia, she isn’t quite strong enough to make it work.
Johnny’s shades went a long way in making Morrison look unamused at teaming with Truth.
yes i kno and im not completely puttin blame on my girl melina either cuz it was her first match back nd she had ring rust but melina has always took alicias backbreaker very limply and dead weighty so its just somethin she has to work on but like i said the match was good for bein melina first match back cant wait to see the summerslam match tho i agree its too early
