Earlier today, we reported that WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross had some praise for Melina, well now WWE headliner Randy Orton is jumping on the bandwagon. The Diva in question? None other than everyone’s favourite Hart… Natalya!
Responding to a fan’s tweet regarding his opinion on Nattie, he says:
Nattie is the best all around in-ring performer as far as the girls go IMO [sic].
Given that we don’t often see her in the ring, it’s easy to forget just what Natalya can do in the ring compared to a Beth, Michelle or Melina. But when she does get in the ring, Nattie never disappoints. I have fond memories of her early days on SmackDown, for sure.
Nice to see RKO recognise Nattie!

Hopefully, the creative will get a clue and put Natalya in solo matches. She hasn’t had an official one (not counting the interrupted Natalya vs Tamina match) since first appearing in ECW over 2 years ago.

Nattie is terrific, and it’s ridiculous that she isn’t allowed to wrestle regularly. I mean, we see Eve and Alicia in the ring practically every week, yet Nattie’s had how many actual matches in the last year? Four? Something’s not right there.
@vonVile: Nattie had a match against Mickie late last year on SmackDown, but yeah, the point still stands. Two on-screen singles matches in a year and a half? :S

Still though, I’d love to Natalya get a push she’s so talented and so under-used

Nattie isnt wwes cup of tea for some reason to push her since shes not a model,she can wrestle,shes not the best looking…..
i wish they’d have her wrestle more she’d make the divas with little experience look better…
I’d say Gail Kim, you may say I’m biased, but Gail Kim can high-fly, Nattie can’t.
Gail can do submission, grapple, brawl etc.
Nattie is definately my 2nd favourite Diva though.
It’s a shame that Nattie doesn’t get pushed. She is incredible in the ring, easily the best in WWE currently.
Now maybe Nattie can get a title shot. She hasn’t had one since the Diva’s Championship match I believe.

forgetting that she’s a close to perfect wrestler, it amazes me how little she’s pushed considering she’s a hart. you’d think wwe would want to capitalise on that?
I think WWE is more about pushing their male next gen wrestlers instead of the females. When Natalya first debut I thought for sure she would’ve had atleast been a 2x Women’s champ by now

The Hart Dynasty has done a lot for Nattie but at the same time it stops her from being a full time wrestler. With her new gimmick, Nattie is very over with the crowd all she needs is to get an oppourtunity
Randy, I love you even more now! (if that was possible lol) WWE LISTEN TO HIM! If it was a guy he said that about he’d start getting pushed next week, guaranteed. But this is a Diva…I’m so happy he said that though :)
Yeah I would love to see her take the stage as a regular singles competitor. Didn’t she say though that she really wants to prove herself and perfect her craft. She has so much passion in regards to that. Her moves are crisp and impact ful I really want to see more of her.
Well he’s right about Natty being the best in-ring performer, but he also had to go and call her a girl. Have some respect, young man.
I’d even go further and say that Ms. Neidhart is on par with the best in the world as far as the WOMEN are concerned. I see her along with [Cheerleader] Melissa Anderson, Sara [Del Ray] Amato, Ayako Hamada, and [Amazing Kong] Kia Stevens at the very top.

Since Evan Bournes’s push came from John Cena praising him maybe Natalya can get a push from Randy’s praise.
Natalya is neve A dissapoint ment to me we hardly see her in the ring and when we do we know what to expect…..Im glad Randy sees her as the best , maybe he can putin a good word for her and she can finally get the push she llongs to deserve
To be honest, this doesn’t really surprise me given that Randy, in my opinion, is one of the people who really understand how to move in the ring. He is probably one of the most fluid people in there right now and Nattie, while not as smooth as Orton, seems to share a similar in ring philosophy. It takes one to know one, as I always say.
As someone who doesn’t really wrestle, I personally find it hard to fully appreciate ones in ring talent just by seeing a match once. I need to reply it at least twice so it’s nice to see Randy Orton handing down some 10′s for someone with appreciation for the little details of in-ring movement.
As for Nattie not getting much of a push, I think it’s Beth’s inadvertent fault. Beth and Nattie already has that same strong woman look going for them. And Beth, to be honest, looks a lot more imposing. Ergo, WWE tends to favor her more.
Of course, that’s just my opinion.

just watch any of her matches against Sara Del Rey, Amazing Kong & even Former Diva Ivory, it shows how aggressive & amazing she can be in the ring, but instead she has to be pinned by Alicia Fox :/
I just wanna give praise to orton for saying this…. its nice that someone notices how good nattie is and from what I hear she’s a very nice person in general. Just like someone else said, CREATIVE, TAKE NOTICE! This is the best you’ve had since Victoria and hell I like Nattie’s style a lil more and thats a lot coming from me.
