TNA launched its new programme, ‘Reaction’ immediately after Impact this past Thursday night. The unique show took a look behind the scenes at the taping of Impact, including a focus on the storylines featured. A very cool concept, if you ask me.
On the first episode, we took a look behind the scenes at the Knockouts Championship match between Angelina Love and Madison Rayne complete with backstage interviews with the pair as well as Velvet Sky.
I really enjoyed this! It’s cool to see this sort of behind the scenes featurette right after Impact airs, giving us an insight into the ‘main show’ sort of like The Xtra Factor (UK reference). This gave the three Knockouts the opportunity to sell their storyline that much more, because due to the time constraints on Impact, we don’t always get enough time for the girls to tell their story. This certainly helped push the Angelina/Madison/Velvet triangle.
I wonder if this will lead to a triple threat Knockouts Title match at the September pay per view? That could be a very exciting match, with an exciting storyline going into it, if done right.
One thing that I found odd is that the Knockouts segment is about as long, if not longer, than the Knockouts segments on Impact…
PS: I don’t think I’ve had the opportunity to mention this before because I don’t write about TNA, but I love Velvet’s promos and her mic work is impeccable.

TNA Reaction was better than the show. It seems like Velvet & Angelina will get back together. Reaction reminds me of a soap opera with someone doing voice over
reaction was a great show, i love getting the insights from the talent themselves. i probably look forward to next week’s episode more than impact itself.
even though i am a bit bored of it being the same core group on impact, i’ve gotta say, i feel the whole implosion of the beautiful people has been written perfectly.
This was an awsome insight into the storyline. Really good show, Bischoff and Hervey did a great job with this show. I’m glad it is now on the thursday night line-up.
Velvet is halarious “the motorcycle lady with the big dumpy ass” hahaha
Nice little think this was between the three women, got them come mic time and we know that all three are capable of doing a good job on the mic.
Angelina sounded as she always does, but at 3:40-4:07 sounded the most genuine from her in that promo, don’t know why really, but it was nice.
Vel Vel always makes me lol and sounds great on the mic, its going to be interesting to see what happens with her in this storyline now.
Madison sounded the most believable and natural out of the three for me however, we know its a sotryline and all that, but she sounded so truthful and genuine, just casual I don’t know how to explain it, she was just the better of the three in this segment.
Even thought she does my head in, I think Lacey should have had her say in this a little as well, see her view on whats going on with the whole biker chick thing and all that.
If this show does more of these interviews like this, I might be hooked. =-P
It is so weird that the Knockouts get 10 minutes on a 1 hour “talk or interview” show and they get 6 minutes on the 2 hour main show!

Angelina Love is just sweet with mic! She has lovely voice and tone…its very different from Maryse and all…something makes me love her everytime I watch her talk!
I really liked this segment. All three women came off very well and sold the Hell out of this feud.

This is actually a good concept for a follow up show. It’ll give people a chance to work on their promo skills, further storylines and give explanations behind things. Great promo work by all 3, especially Velvet.

if they can’t sell the storyline in the main show, with the “mysterious” time restraints that they are getting, they can sure do it here, especially when you have the top three speakers of the division. :)

Awesome. All 3 promos were great. Especially Velvet, she’s so badass, haha. Angelina as the face, Madison as the bitch heel and Velvet bordering on tweener would make an awesome triple threat match. I hope Angelina retains though, because these quick title changes aren’t working.

Does Any1 Else Notice That The Angelina Vs Madison Fued Is Similar To The Alicia Vs Melina Fued I Mean Madison Has Never Pinned… Angelina And Same For Alicia Yet They Have Great Matches With Each Other!..!

This was a VERY GOOD, insightful little segment here. The lack of airtime for the Knockouts on the main show is slowly being made up for on things like Reaction and Xplosion matches (online).
It was cool to see them go into TBP’s backstory and remind us of the original formation. The lack of dissention between Angelina and Velvet is very telling. In recent weeks, it like they’re not enemies anymore. They’ve got a common enemy in Madison Rayne, who IMO has been the top Knockout this year. She has really shined for all the BS the division has gone through, she is making the most of her push. I like how she refers to the Mystery Biker Woman as her bodyguard. Judging from the reaction she got on Impact, I’m pretty sure a lot of the fans know who she is by now. Will be very intrigued to see her reason for being there and why Madison enlisted her services.
Enjoyable show in general with the Knockouts part being well done by all three ladies. Nice to see they got worthwhile time here. Hopefully Reaction keeps up with the Knockouts segments and is effective in promoting the TNA name and it’s talents. Nice speaking by Velvet, Angelina, and Madison.
