More details have come to light over the suspension of WWE SmackDown Diva, Tiffany. The Wrestling Observer reports that the altercation between Tiffany — real name Taryn Terrell — and husband Drew Galloway (Drew McIntyre) took place on Saturday night, not Tuesday night as previously reported.
Additionally, it is confirmed that Tiffany was arrested. She is due to attend court for a hearing on September 2nd.

What is known is that both performers attended a party Saturday night in Los Angeles together and went to their hotel room. The two had a loud argument which included both hotel security and police being called. The two had already booked separate rooms when the police arrived. Terrell was arrested that night and taken in to custody.
WWE officials were not aware of the incident until Monday, and she was suspended until further information came out. Her lawyers believe she will be cleared of all charges. Right now it is likely the suspension will remain until she is officially cleared. (Source: F4WOnline.com)
I don’t want to speculate what happened between the two, but this sounds like an unfortunate situation that the pair got caught up in. I hope things work out so we can get Tiffany back on television and doing what she does best. It’s a shame that this will, perhaps, overshadow her rising star as a wrestler on the SmackDown brand.

Wow, this is pretty shocking but let’s hope WWE can look past this and not release her.

It was said on PWInsider.com that many WWE performer feel she will get realsed due she was in LA promoting Summerslam for WWE. So thats never good to get in trouble while your there for your company

She was removed from the opening Smackdown video this week. So she’s probably as good as gone.
i feel bad for the both of them. hopefully they can work through their issues and it doesn’t reflect too badly on either of their own wwe career.

i hope she doesnt get realeased because of this.i think it’d be dumb if she was to because alot of other wwe superstars have done bad things before and have had altercations with other wwe superstars.like batista and booker t had a big problem with each other,which resulted in violence between the two,and they didnt get released.so,its not like she’s the only wwe superstar/diva thats ever done something bad.and i wonder why drew wasnt arrested.i dont feel he’s all that innocent
Poor Tiffany she does not deserve this I hope she still has a job after this, how come Tiffany is the only one in trouble and not Drew. I felt that Tiffany was too young to get married
I hope Drew and Tiffany can work out their problems. And I hope this does not affect Tiffanys status with the company.
Man, so much for that push… And as far as by getting removed from the Smackdown intro, usually whenever someone is in major trouble (ex. Jim Ross going to UFC 115) or suspeneded, the are punished by being removed by the intro, so Tiffany getting this isn’t a surprise. But I hope she doesn’t get released… WWE can’t afford to fire Divas anymore…
But there may also be factors such as if she had poor behavior backstage. However, Maryse, Batista, and Sable are/is known for bad behavior and were never released for that. On the other hand, it was rumored that Mickie James acted badly backstage and that was the probable cause for her release. And of course, we all know that Chris Jericho got away with being arrested in WWE, while The Hurricane was fired. So, in the end, who knows what will happen to Tiffany… I just hope for the best.

So she spent over 8hrs in jail and 20k for bail, wtf did she do? Did she attempt to castrate Drew? That’s a little much for a simple domestic disturbance.
@CableV yea i also notice that althought i didnt pay much attention to it cuz sometimes it goes by really fast u miss lots of superstars but u right now that i replay it in my head again she was removed so sad i was starting to like her and see her as champion material but…

Well there she goes, such a shame. I’m crossing my fingers so she won’t get fired but things are looking bleak…man I hate drama…I mean seriously..I was with someone the other weekend..and they proceeded to act like a complete moron when drunk, at one point getting violent too. So long story short, shyt happens and we all have moments of weakness. With that said, I honestly don’t see why they couldn’t overlook this incident. Maybe not overlook per se, but give her a warning let her know she screwed up and give her the ol “Don’t let this happen again speech..” and it ends there. We’re all human after all, who’s perfect besides God and Jesus? I can’t think of anyone..
I’m upset about this lol, I came on here and this was the first thing I saw and I freaked out. I really hope she doesn’t get released because of this. I know it’s none of our business but I can’t help but wonder what she did to get herself arrested? And I can’t help but wonder why Drew didn’t get in trouble if he was apart of it too, whether he did anything or not.
If she does get released I’ll be really upset because it’s not like SD can afford to lose another Diva and she’s one of the few newer Divas who actually have potential to be a big star and is actually good in the ring. And because Jericho got arrested and got away with it…

WWE can afford to release another diva, considering you all keep praising the divas down in FCW up, down, left, right and to the moon. They have a surplus down there right at their fingertips.
And to compare this situation to Jericho, Booker T, Orton, Batista… it doesn’t and you can’t.
Tiffany ? superstars of that caliber.

it might sound a lot but 20k isn’t that bad. if it was domestic violence, i’d be expecting more around 40-50k to be honest. also, if it was domestic violence, they likely wouldn’t release her on the same day due to possible contact with drew, the “victim”? the six hours isn’t that long either what with booking times and being processed. most of it was likely her waiting around for legal representation and for the judge to issue her bail and then somebody turning up to post it ?

In the past the policy has been to let people espically if there not that big of a star who’s departure would be a big deal. For exaple even with his various drug issues Jeff Hardy (who is among the most popular of all time) was kept on. While Rhino (who is about at Tiffany’s level in fame and popularty) was let go.Hell earlier this year we saw Danielson get fired for a worked part of the show so for the time being she will be gone I bet

I shouldn’t assume but I’ve already played out a scenario in my head on how it could have went down. Since they were booked in different rooms Tiffany and Drew were probably already involved in some sort of quarrel/verbally atleast. So then while drinking at the bars/clubs Tiffany let’s loose, is drunk and assumes Drew is being a ho. Or player, take your pick. So after she gets agressive at the bar Drew decides they should leave and so they do, but Tiffany won’t drop it and eventually assaults him like a hellcat!! People hear, police is called and they discover what’s happened. So there ya have it! That’s my take on how it went down..but again, shyt happens..they should build a bridge quickly and move on!
Atleast now I know why Tiffany didn’t appear with Kelly on superstars. I really hope everything works out for her and she doesn’t get fired. I see Tiffany as the future star of the divison and I hope she can over come this. But man Smackdown has been taking a big hit this year. Maria gone. Mickie gone. Beth injured. They have only K2 and LayCool as the wrestling divas. They need to do something fast.

I am not 100% sure about it, but I have heard several online reports and interviews from several Divas (including Tara and Cherry) that Maryse acts exactly like the way she does on TV. On the other hand, several fans say that she is a nice person. But I can't say much cuz I don't know her personally.
This leaves Lay-Cool, Kelly, and Rosa the only divas on SmackDown. Damn. Girls from Raw should move to SmackDown. Gail Kim would be a sound choice, or even Jillian.
Seeing as how Vince and Triple H are complete marks for Drew McIntyre, they’re invariably going to take his side. I hope Tiffany doesn’t get released, she’s been improving a lot of late. I hope they can resolve things and move on. If not then it might be better to put them on separate brands.
The face Divas and SmackDown are REALLY in a bad shape. With Kelly Kelly as the only one there and LayCool as the main heels, there’s very little that can be done with so few women. Mickie James was released, Beth Phoenix got injured and now Tiffany is suspended. I doubt they’ll use Rosa Mendes in matches. Only options now are to move a RAW Diva over (Gail Kim maybe?) or call up AJ Lee from FCW.

… you should post some of your stories on FF.net. How on earth do you have “a take” on what happened? Unless you were there, you don’t. Nobody knows that it was just a ‘shyt happens..they should build a bridge quickly and move on!’ type of situation so for you to actually go and take the time to think that through (quite thoroughly, I might add) and then type it out so others can read your scenario… My emotions are a cross between disbelief and pity for you right now.

Maybe and hopefully if both her current situation isn’t as serious as it sounds and that she’s able to keep her job Tiffany’s brush with the law could possibly lead to a needed gimmick change. I could see Tiffany going from being her upbeat and tough cheerleader persona to a character that is a mix between a blond Christina Von Eerie (look & attire wise) and female version (in-ring wise) of an attitude era Stone Cold.

SD needs to do something whether Tiffany gets released or not because they’ve been in a desperate need for Divas for a long time. They released Maria who was just starting to really work hard and Mickie who was always a hard worker and both of them were really over with the fans, Beth got hurt and she was over with the fans too. It seems like they refuse to work Rosa in something that is actually important. I just can’t believe this is happening. Obviously whatever she did was bad since she was arrested but I can’t help but think he had to be involved physically somehow as well.
also I like the idea of a gimmick change for her. wwe has to know that 99% of the online fans are going to know about this so maybe it could work…?
With WWE acting so sensitively towards Linda McMahon’s campaign for the US Senate, I wonder if this was a way to divert any potential criticism Linda would face by the media (assuming they picked up on it). They’ve been attacking her over WWE material for nearly a year now, so it wouldn’t surprise me if this became newsworthy for them.

It wouldn’t surprise me either. They might also mention her Playboy pics that were released in the PG era, despite being taken several years ago.
If they decide to keep Tiffany, I wouldn’t mind if they changed her gimmick to something darker or have her turn heel.
I REALLY, REALLY don’t want to see Tiffany go. She is definitely top Diva and championship material. But hopefully Drew forgave her and convinces Vince to keep her around.
Oh, and @ Alex, I don’t think Tiffany was too young to get married. The problem was that she and Drew were only dating for a year when they married. I am so worried for them…

but i don’t see wwe bringing up any girls from FCW right now, especially with the rumor that 4 FCW divas will be in the next season of NXT.
so with that leaves rosa, kelly [both not the best of workers], layla and michelle [i don't count serena since she isn't wrestling]. this is sad, hopefully she doesn’t get released. she is an amazing worker, who with time can reach beth/melina caliber.
Im really tearing right now. Its not fair, Tiffany is an amazing wrestler and a big fan favourite. She is “one to watch” including eve and alicia. I just wish WWE dont release her it would be a big and HUGE mistake.
If WWE released Mickie and Shelton Benjamin (two very big mistakes), then it’s very likely they will release Tiff. But still, we should keep our fingers crossed. For the time being, I want Rosa to get some kind of storyline (maybe as “Dashing” Cody Rhodes’ valet?) and Serena in the title picture. And it would be nice to send Kelly back to Raw and have Gail or Jillian on Smackdown.
Ugh, I’m seriously so upset right now. I’ve always like Tiffany and when she left ECW when it ended and started wrestling on SD, I immediately saw that she has a ton of potential. And, thinking about WWE releasing Mickie and other “fan favorites” and good workers this year, it really is likely they will release her. Granted I typed out what came to mind when I heard Tiffany was at fault(coupled w/the numerous reports and leaked details) but your acting as if I accused someone of murder. Lighten up would you? If anything I should feel sorry for you(but ya I don’t..) for taking things so seriously. This hasn’t been a good year for women’s wrestling at all. All the terrible incidents with both the Divas and Knockouts… What is WWE going to do if they release Tiffany? Call up the FCW Divas, do a Diva Draft, hire indy girls, or (even worse) slowly deacitvate the Divas division…?
But what you thought is speculation–this isn’t a fiction website, it’s a diva blog. I’m saying that neither you nor anybody else has any place to speculate on what you ‘thought’ happened because you weren’t there and you don’t know, with 100% certainty, that drinks were even involved. You made up a story, that’s it. Nobody else here is saying ‘so, they were out drinking and things got out of hand and Tiffany went wild!!!’ You didn’t weigh in on anything.
And there’s a big difference between me feeling sorry for you and me feeling pity–I never said anything about feeling sorry and I really don’t care about your past.
I think her suspension instead of outright release may actually be a sign that WWE sees something in her worth keeping, at least I hope so. She’s the main diva I watch Smackdown for.
I’m really hoping she won’t get released. The SD Diva roster will be a bigger mess than it all ready is.
When this happened I thought of Rhianna and Chris Brown except Tiffany surprisingly is the Chris Brown in this situation, I never thought of her as that type of person to be honest. I sure wouldn’t want to make her mad now considering I might get the Tina Turner treatment.
I don’t think WWE would release her right away anyway. I’m hoping they’re giving them the chance to get things worked out and maybe hear both sides of the story before immediately releasing her…
Management definitely needs to hear both sides of the tale, otherwise it’s unfair and unjustified.
