The first two Divas to be confirmed for the upcoming SmackDown vs Raw 2011 video game are Eve Torres and Michelle McCool.
The former Divas Champions can be seen in the game-play picture above, which was posted at IGN.com today.

Love the outfit choice for Michelle :) . Eve’s is a bit out dated but whatever I still like the attire . The graphics for the game look pretty good . Definetly buying it !
Looks good. I was hoping Eve would have had that silver attire she had when she won the Divas Title but I can just change it in the Superstar Threads. I’m crossing my fingers Mickie James is in it. I know she’s released and all but Ashley was in SVR 2009 and she was released mid 2008. Maybe they could have her as an unlockable. Looking foward to some more divas pictures.
I have the 2008/09 and 2010 version and I believe everyone agrees that they keep burying the game. I mean, why are we only allowed to play with divas against the superstars in mix tag team matches? At least in the 2009 version we could create a bodybuilder like diva…Now the game is getting boring and useless. It’s not that hard to take off the stupid restrictions.
(Yeah PG, all fighting games allow us to have intergender bouts.)
well, i wonder how many divas there will be, in it this year last year there was Brie, Nikki Bella, Eve Torres, Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim, Maria, Maryse, Michelle McCool, Melina, Natalya, Beth Phenix, so 12 divas last year, i think most of them will be the same, except take out Maria and Mickie, and ADD Tiffany, Layla, Jillian
if layla makes the game ill buy it but only if shes in it & make the tag belts story mode co-op…

I don’t get why people say that about Eve’s outfits. I actaully think her recent attires are better looking than the old ones like this. I mean pretty much all the divas attires have that “gladiator” look to their attire not just Eve lol.
I’m wondering if Trish will return alongside maybe Lita and some of the other former Divas the WWE has reached out to. That would definitely be good to see.
Michelle’s attire rocks! I was most concerned about Maryse, Michelle, Layla, & Eve when it came to attires. Michelle is all good but i wish Eve had a newer attire from this year like her orang or silver or even pink one. all the same yes but diff colors.

I’m really glad they chose this attire for McCool cause you can also use the superstars thread thing to make her silver and green attires that are of design
I doubt Tiffany will be in this one, but Layla should definitely be in cause she’s Womens Champ and why would they only put half of lay-cool in the game.
I would have preferred Michelles blue attire from when she won her second womens title, but I’m still happy with the finished product its such an improvement on last year. Eve looks great too even though her attire is kinda outdated but they do make the decisions on outfits around february.
I hope the Bellas don’t make it into the game. Crossing my fingers for Layla and Alicia.
No surprise that they are in the game. Anyone whos hoping for Alicia and Layla, its probably going to happen.
Wow the divas look great, and the graphics are way better than the last 3 games because the SVR07 divas looked awesome and this looks close to that. Hopefully they upgrade Layla because she looked liked a midget and walked like a crackhead and it didn’t do her looks justice. I want to see the Hart Dynasty also, mainly Tyson & Natalya. They really got the Miz down to a tee also.

Bellas, Maryse, Rosa.. I love Layla, but I see nothing positive, good and/or entertaining about her character and direction, so I ain’t gonna turn a blind eye or whatever the saying is. Jillian is okay, but I’ve always been indifferent.. Um.. Same with Tiffany and Kelly. I like to think I try to enjoy the over all product instead of individuals. I end up less disappointed that way. haha
And I am glad someone laughed at my comment. I am in such a silly mood right now. haha

Release date is 26 October (at least where I am).
The usual business politics prevents there being a WWE vs TNA game. But that doesn’t stop you from making your own versions of just about any wrestler out there (within reason). I made a fair approximations of Daffney and Velvet Sky for the 2010 edition.
According to the info release yesterday this edtion has a feature called “WWE Universe mode” that runs a kind of automatic GM mode (which you can tweak yourself) to generate various stories and antics as well as manipulate alliances and feuds based on match results. That’s on top of a free-roaming backstage which apparently has a bit of an ‘RPG’ aspect to it.
Isn’t it funny how they didn’t think Alicia Fox and Layla were even significant enough to be featured on last year’s game. Now, this year not only is Layla the Women’s Champion, and Alicia Fox a former Divas Champion there’s no doubt in my mind that these two will not be in this year’s game. Perhaps Layla is even the Women’s Champion is this game!

Based on previous rosters they tend to be fixed fairly early, even though THQ have gotten into the habit of keeping it mostly secret until a couple of weeks before release. When work started on SvR 2010 Alicia and Layla weren’t all that important. A case in point for roster inflexibility is Jeff Hardy. Just days before the big reveal was happening he was getting busted for the narcotics investigation, yet he was still in the released version of the game some weeks later.
I think it’s a safe bet for Alicia and Layla to be on this years roster along with Maryse, Kelly , Beth, Melina, the Bellas, Natalya and Gail. Possibles would be Serena, Tiffany and Jillian (she was in ’09 so probably a safe bet). Rosa being included would be a bit of a suprise.
Having Vicky Guerrero in the game as an non-player character could well be likely given her level of involvement earlier in the year.
