Jillian and Melina should be good atleast Jillian is getting a reward even tho she didn’t win the title still glad to see her get a title shot. As for the Laycool thing they should’ve did something about that on tonight’s show instead of next week while it’s still fresh in people’s mind. well can’t wait for next week’s show

Please WWE no unified titles. That is going to be awful, unless…….a winner take all match w/ Melina & Gail .v. Michelle/Layla – with gail and melina winning. I hate michelle so much i cant say it enough -_-. No Fair for alicia she deserves her re match.
Smart move to put Melina-Jillian on a taped show.
I’m torn on the idea of unifying the title. I guess it would be good if the unified champion actually appeared on both shows (unlike the Hart Dynasty lately), but Laycool on both shows is something I’d like to keep limited to my nightmares.
I’m actually glad they didn’t go with the Alicia cashing in her rematch clause, I think we already know how thats going to end. To be honest I’d rather see them focus on the Lay-Cool business than see Melina get the best of Alicia again for 4th consecutive time.
I dont think they’re going to do a unification anytime soon. What’s more likely I think is the creation of a tag team championship. With the co-champ/equal champs storyline with Lay-Cool. The whole breaking the title belt in half…the story just writes itself.
More of the same old bullshit. The offer’s probably for Melina to join LayCool to keep getting used or get buried by Michelle for her title. Of course it will be put more nicely and not as obvious.

unifing the belts wouldnt be good then that means one show would suffer as wwe doesnt like there to be more than one championship feud at a time which means if the champ is feuding on raw there probaly wouldnt even be a divas storyline happening on smackdown the winner take all idea i like i just would make melinas partner natalya cuz then they could move her to smackdown with THD and they could feud with either the SES or Archer and Hawkins

that’s what came to my mind the moment i read those broken title spoilers last month. i’m not against the idea, for starters they’ve got more teams than tna’s tag ko division ;) but if they do it, they’re doing it to the wrong title :(
Why do people see the unify thing? I see them offering Melina a match at NOC, winner take all where Michelle and Layla face Melina and a mystery partner in which either Layla keeps Womens/Michelle wins Divas or Melina keeps Divas/Partner wins Womens, with the latter happening of course. Melina appeared at FCW about a week before she returned, and a certain glamazon is doing fcw appearances this week so….
of course I could be overthinking but I hope not as Melina/Beth vs. Laycool would own
If someone asked me last year, I’d hate the idea of unificating the titles, but with Eve as a former Divas Champion I just don’t take that title seriously anymore. Unificating the titles would only do good for the division in my opinion, with only the deserving women holding the title.
but Pedro if u look at it like that look at some of the women that have held the womens belt … The Kat, Debra, Harvey Wippleman???? i mean u cant judge the divas title by who has held it i mean the belt is only like 3 years old give it a chance the womens belt has been around for ever obviously its gonna have more prestige than the divas belt.

A Random Jillian Divas Title Match she just won a match since last year why coudnt they just have her be in a singles match and have her win….who cares abt Lay-Cool I mean I liked they idea they had going at SummerSlam but now its like YAWN! I rather have Melina still fued with Alicia and possibly putting Jillian in the equation

@kaledrina true. But yeah they have a bunch of tv ready teams already. They have Lay-Cool, Blondetourage, the Bellas, the job squad (gail and jillian) lol and random people thrown together like tamina and Serena (antiDivas) and even super fit Jamie Keyes and Jumping Rosa (it’s not perfect but you get the picture).
I’m just curious, how can u think Eve’s title reign was better than Maryse’s first one? Yeah, it’s not as great as everyone says it was but Eve’s was terrible. She never said anything and she wasn’t even over with the crowd then…Just saying…
well i mean eve didnt say anything because creative didnt let her that wasnt on her but i liked her as champ i didnt say maryse’s first reign was bad because it wasnt just in my opinion i was more interested in eve’s reign then with maryse’s first one plus i just more enjoy to watch eve in the ring as opposed to maryse

Because Eve was actually a fighting champion instead of what we got from all of Maryse’ reign as a champ. I don’t get why Eve is not getting enough credit for what she brings to the table. Yeah she was boring but half of the roster is. The important thing was during her run as a champion she was giving us good to great matches.
yeah, I know it wasn’t her fault…I just didn’t really find much about her reign that entertaining. I liked Maryse’s because when she came back, right after she won it she went after Melina, then had a feud with Mickie, and had the whole thing with the Miz going on too.

she was getting the credit, but then people turned on her. the same thing happened to maryse and is now happening to both alicia and melina. and if you look at tna, it happened to odb, tara and now angelina. it’s weird.

what i think is weird is people come on here saying so and so should be the champion and then when they win it, everyone starts complaining. Like Eve, a lot of people wanted her to have a chance at it and then she did and then they started on her…I myself didn’t think she was ready for it yet, so I didn’t want her to win it, especially so randomly. And, when Alicia won, we started seeing more of her in the ring and then everyone kept saying how sloppy she was when just a month ago they were really high on her…i don’t understand

So it’s safe to say that all diva fans are bunch of overzealous, fickle minded, never happy jackasses. =) Yeah…that’s me in a nutshell.
Does it matter what they do with the titles anymore? The Woman title has become worthless, and the Diva title has never had any credibility. Might as well unify them. The diva division will just continue to sink and sink.

I got behind Fox as Divas Champion. I don’t feel like I turned on her. But I do see what your saying.
I speak for myself and I have to say, I did kind of turn on Eve. I suppose its because I only randomly saw Smackdown(still do actually)and when I did, Eve was wrestling w/Cryme Tyme against THD. And Eve was impressive. Granted it was short, I guess I should have known better. Natalya certainly brings out the best in any diva. Its true. And so on RAW where she wrestled frequently(when compared to Smackdown anyway)her flaws were exposed. Recently, she’s shown some improvement and I’m slowly getting behind her again.
And Maryse, don’t even get me started with her. She did five moves more while on Smackdown…that’s the only difference I see. On RAW, she’s gotten away with being horrible and even winning the Divas Title. Beauty can take you far is all I can say. I like her character, I just hate her when she “tries” to wrestle.
Melina and Tara are awesome. They’ve proven themselves, they’ve had memorable matches, they’ve written themselves a respectable career IMO.
I never cared much for ODB. And I admit, I’m sick of Angelina. I still like her but, less is more in her case.
Justbringit a belt cant be created with prestige it has to be built over time so give the divas belt a chance and if the women’s belt survived being thrown in the trash on a rivals company’s broadcast i think it can survive being broken in half

Also if WWE doesnt want 2 diva matches at NOC then they’ll have a winner take all match.
With Melina’s partner either being Natalya or Gail. Eve would be my next choice but she isnt quite ready for the Womens Championship yet.
But we will most likely see….. Gail and Melina take the win then the next night vickie says there cant be 2 women champion belts on one show so she says one of them have to move back to Smackdown and then i think melina would since there starting a lay-cool feud and then when beth comes back we might see Team Melina & Beth vs Team Lay-cool at survivor series then something like a beth/michelle/melina feud and they crown a new champion there. I hope WWE go with that or something near to that but nothing with the word “unified”.
Perhaps we should wait and see what happens on Smackdown. If Teddy forces Michelle and Layla to choose one champion then definitely see a winners take all match with a certain Glamazon returning and taking the title or Natalya or Gail being Melina’s partner. I think time wise Melina should have the strap around her a while longer while Laycool is getting stale. If Layla would just kick Michelle in the head and actually take the reign for herself my opinion would be different but ya know?
its just funny that divas from smackdown are always make an appearances on raw while raw divas never ever interfere on smackdown….it would be nice to see all of the divas from raw attacking laycool especially melina and beatin,remember when victoria from SD had a match with kelly2,and all of the divas rooster on raw beatin her up

sad but true: if you include her current co-champ reign, michelle has held a title for 533 days out of 700 (give or take a few). how boring.
Why is everybody thinking Melina’s partner is gonna be like Eve, Gail or Natalya. Please Eve just jobbed to the heel Queen of jobbing Jillian, Gail is the face jobbing queen which is sad, and Natalya is simply gonna valet for the Hart Dynasty during their tag team match at NOC. Even though you guys don’t want her as champ… K2 has been in a feud with LayCool since like May, has had a Women’s Championship oppritunity, and WWE is high on her. All signs point to Kelly! This is her moment like it or not!

Um, wait what? Maryse actually defended her title more than any other Diva who have held the Diva’s title, during her first reign. She defended it again Gail, Michelle, Kelly, and Mickie. So, yes, Maryse was a fighting champion. Was her matches great? Actually, yes they were. The ones on Smackdown with Gail Kim were amazing. Her matches on Raw were eh, not the best. But still, you can’t say Eve was a fighting champion and Maryse wasn’t. Eve defended her title twice and lost it her second time defending it. Maryse defended and regained her title numerous of times. That’s why, IMO, Maryse was/had the best Divas Title Reign/Champion. Way better than Eve, Melina and Mickie. The only woman who came close to hers, IMO was Alicia based on charisma.
Anyway, I wouldn’t be surprised if they unified the title. The Women’s title is pretty much destroyed. Smh. I just wouldn’t be satisfied with LayCool or Melina becoming the first unified champion. Idk. It would just seem weird and unjustified to me. But, seeing as Layla and Melina are the current champions, it’s sensible that the match would be between them if a unified title is in store.
Oh and it was also announced Randy vs JoMo vs Ted (w/Maryse)

Actually the feud is most likely over. Kelly got her shot its done, finito. So did tiffany. That is why WWE didnt continue the feud last week on smackdown because on superstars michelle defeated kelly for the last time. So Melina’s partner has to be eve, gail, natalya or beth.
Dont forget this weeks RAW is going to be hot.

As for the whole Lay-Cool/Melina feud, i guess it’s okay…. IF Jillian turned out to be be Melina’s partner in this supposed “winner takes all match” at Night Of Champions, if not, then i’ll settle with Kelly or Natalya.

You know, the more I try to figure out whats going on with Laycool and Melina, the more I start wanting WWE to just go all out in their treatment of the divas as a separate roster–the fact that the label Superstar typically refers to the male wrestlers only, the periodic divas-only trades, the fact the divas have their own website in the WWE online Universe–and just make the divas a separate division.
Have one title (maybe a tag title if they manage to “find” time to dedicate to both belts) and have the ladies appear on all shows. Granted divas who are currently valeting will probably stay on the home show of their male superstar(s), but every diva an opportunity to wrestle or at least interact with every other diva. Plus no more worries about a brand’s diva roster thinning out due to injury, arrest and suspension, or release (the way we use that word in pro wrestling reminds me of “The Giver”–a good book).
The offer will have something to do with NOC as it is the next PPV. If they unify the belts, i have a feeling that the WWE will release some of their diva’s.
But something is telling me that that WWE are going back towards to ‘Golden era’. If they unify the belts, then that’ll give the lesser divas nothing to do & may result in releasing divas like rosa,tiffany,bellas.
