As well as their previously announced bout on October 1st, Mickie James and Awesome Kong will do battle again the next night, October 2nd, in Liberty, New York for Northeast Wrestling.
Since their bout was announced last month, the Internet has been buzzing about this match so here’s a second chance for anyone in New York.

Damn! I want to go, I need to live nearer NY. Or in NYC.
This is exciting. And its too bad it isn’t happening for TNA or WWE. Such a match can do wonders for any womens division. With that said, I really wish it would be streamed live or something. I’m sure the buzz on these matches is going to increase as the days approach. I’m also hoping the DVDs will be released later this year. That along with that Divas of Past and Present(by WWE)DVD would make for a sweeter Holiday Season!
I think mickie james will win. Cuz in my opinion mickie james is bigger star than Awesome kong.
She is is a bigger star but who knows? Kong is still actively wrestling so a victory over MJ can only help her resume. Mickie is also a country star so she doesn’t need the victory as much. I say Kong wins the first one and Mickie the rematch.
