Former Divas Champion, Eve Torres came out on top in the first ever WWE live event to take place on Chinese soil.
She defeated fellow former Divas Champ, Alicia Fox during the 90 minute ‘Shanghai SmackDown’ which took place for free at the Expo 2010 Shanghai.
That makes the pair the first Divas to compete in China.

Based from the pictures, it’s hard to tell if it was a good/decent match or not but cool to see these girls have a match here, congrats.
That’s a pretty big accomplishment. Congrats to the two of them.
Just cause Alicia lost, well she’s not Trish Stratus for crying out loud. She’s gonna have to lose sometimes. That doesn’t maker her a jobber, id say they’re evenly matched. Anyway, congratulations to Eve. She’s got some nice legs…not that it has anything to do with the match in China, but she looks good nevertheless.
Uhm. It has nothing to do with Trish Stratus? Lol. If WWE was building up Alicia to be the next number one contender for Melina’s belt again then I think she would’ve won the match so that they can build her back up.
OH MY GOD! Why are Eve and Alicia in the tour? They will embaress WWE even more in China, they should have sent Gail Kim and Natalya.

I disagree with xfrenchTKO too. With it being the first show ever in China, I think WWE would rather the Faces go over the Heels (so the audience go home happy) unless it’s a title match with a heel champion. Eve gets a better reaction than Alicia too, so there are two reasons in her favour. And tbh, it’s just a house show, I don’t think it means that Alicia is a jobber and Eve is getting a push.
Possibly…but, I wouldn’t be surprised if they pushed her to the back of the line. Not like it would be the first time that happened.
congrats to the both of them. on the topic of alicia being a jobber now, very rarely do the heels win on live shows unless they’re holding the title. besides! somebody has to lose and, if anything, eve is more the jobber type right now if you judge solely on television wins/losses.
on the tour as a whole, it’s really silly of wwe not to stick gail on the tour.
Its not that big of a accomplishment. WWE will accomplish something when they are invited to North Korea or Cuba.

No matter who won or lost, this is a big deal. First time ever in China, that in and of itself is awesome, but the fact Eve & Alicia were the two women who got to compete…that’s really mindblowing. Congrats to both women!

Not to really sound liek the pooper here, but why did no one complain about jobbing or going to the end of the line when eve lost? I mean you don’t have to like or respect her but a little consistency please? smh
